“Danielle arrived on time for the drop-in and potty break for our sweet girl Rosie and was very responsive to my messages. She send cute photos of Rosie and followed my instructions exactly. Will book again!”

“Lidia is OUTSTANDING!!! She’s punctual, reliable, and took fantastic care of my anxious pup while I was away for the weekend. I truly believe Lidia treated Piper as if she were her own and that made Piper feel so safe and at ease with her. All the messages and photo pup-dates of Piper absolutely warmed my heart and I’m so thrilled to have found our forever dog sitter!!!! I can’t thank you enough!”

“Leilani did some drop-ins for our dog Moxie as we were away for the evening for a special event. I loved the reports we got from her with updates and our dog loved her at the meet and great! Will definitely be rebooking.”

“Brandon took great care of our Cavapoo, Dotty! He was very professional and responsive, provided frequent updates and photos, and followed all of our instructions. She was happy as can be with him! I will definitely be booking with Brandon again.”

“Sarah is awesome! My two cats loved her right away - even the shy one. She was great with their meds, sending updates & pictures, and really actively playing with them. I am pretty sure they didn’t miss us at all. 10/10 - we will definitely be asking Sarah to come by next time we’re out of town!”

“She was reliable and came as scheduled. She followed all instructions and took appropriate care of my cat while I was away. Communication was clear, and everything went smoothly with no issues. Overall, it was a straightforward and positive experience, and I would consider booking her again in the future.”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs at once. I take care of my friends dogs sometimes having 3-4 dogs at once including my own to care for at the same time. I am mostly available during the weekdays during the morning and daytime and I can occasionally do weekends and evenings as well depending on my current schedule. I have two friendly puppers of my own. One of my dogs is 16 years old and the other is 5 years old. I also occasionally care for my friends dogs at my own home as well as going to their place to take care of them.
“Alexandra did a wonderful job with our pup!! She kept us in the know the whole time and left the cutest pics! We will definitely book with her again and would recommend!”

About: Hi there! My name’s Katherine and I’ve been a lifelong dog lover. I was recently laid off from my corporate 9-5 job and while I search for a new role, I’m looking for an enjoyable side gig. I live in an apartment complex in North Park close to Balboa Park, downtown North Park and plenty of dog parks. While I don’t own pets of my own, I am excited about the opportunity to interact with your fur baby! I’ve been dog sitting and dog walking for family and friends for years and I also am an active volunteer for the San Diego Humane Society’s Dog Day Out program. Feel free to reach out anytime! :) I’m currently searching for a new job after I was affected by my company layoffs so my schedule is pretty open and flexible. It would help to schedule about a week out just to account for potential job interviews and/or networking calls. Your pets’ safety is the most important and I aim to create a stress free and safe experience. Depending on your dog’s needs, I can cater length of walks and activity intensity levels.
“Kristin was great! I was initially hesitant about leaving my puppy with a stranger for drop offs but he immediately loved her and they seemed to have such a good time. I loved all the photos she sent of him!”

“This was my first time using Isabella and she was great! She was very responsive and also sent super cute pics of my dog on his walk. She made me feel so comfortable that I’m booking her again this week. ?”

“Phillip took wonderful care of my cat. He was communicative and provided nice updates about how my cat was doing throughout the week. My cat seemed content when I returned. The liter box was well maintained, and the apartment smelled clean.”

“Olivia is the most thoughtful and sweet pet sitter you could have. She sent us thorough updates that showed she cares about our cat and was following all our instructions. She even went out of her way to bring in our trash bins and packages. She’s been our go-to and will continue to be.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and grew up in a home where they were truly part of the family. Over the years, friends and family have trusted me to care for their furry loved ones while they’re away, and I take that responsibility seriously. I also have a dog of my own, Lev, a 6-year-old male who has taught me a lot about patience, communication, and positive reinforcement training. Because Lev can be leash reactive, I’m very comfortable reading dog body language and handling walks calmly and safely. Through consistent positive reinforcement, we’ve built successful and enjoyable walks together. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I always aim to create a safe, positive, and fun experience for every pup in my care. I currently WFH full-time! Afternoon/evenings between 3-7pm on weekdays are ideal times for walks and visits. Weekends would vary, but I have pretty open availability in general! My own pup gets at least three walks a day—a long walk first thing in the morning and another before bed, plus a midday walk for some relief and fresh air. We often go on other adventures, including the beach and the dog park, but this our typical schedule. Because of this routine, I’m very accustomed to walking during high dog-traffic times and always prioritize safe, attentive handling. I stay aware of our surroundings, read dog body language, and use positive reinforcement to keep walks calm, structured, and enjoyable for every pup.
About: When I was a teenager, I started my own little business and took care of pets and homes for my neighbors. This exposed me to a lot of different types of dogs, big and small, playful and shy. I have been caring for dogs for over 13 years now and looking forward to meeting your dog! Plus, you get the benefit of my girlfriend also being here, so you get two sitters for the price of one! I work from home 90% of the time and available most weekends. I have my own dog, so taking care of him during the work week is second nature to me. I always keep a dog’s health and happiness top of mind. I will ensure they get the proper food, water, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, rest and pets!

About: I've had dogs my whole life and have taken care of family and friends dogs overnight and daily check ins. I currently have a 4 year old Wirehaired Pointing Griffon and we put in about 3-5 miles a day to get his energy out! My roommate also has a Labrador who joins us on walks as well. My dogs won't join your dog for a walk unless you specifically request play time. I am currently between jobs so I have a lot of time to take care of dogs. Available at any time and most days. Just need a day notice in advance and I can usually make it work. I have a fenced in front yard and two other dogs if your dog wants to play with others! Multiple walks a day, dedicated play time, and trips to the dog parks available.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - North Hills
Second time Sarah does drop-ins with my dog and I continue to be thrilled. Love her communication, card updates, pics, and videos on every visit. Makes me feel 100% comfortable that my pup is well cared for even when I’m thousands of miles away for work, and the updates bring a smile to my face. Can’t wait to book Sarah again soon!

Stephanie was so amazing with our dog and cats. She sent lots of pictures and you could tell that they were so happy. Stephanie was very prompt with the times she was supposed to come to our house. It was such a relief knowing the animals were well taken care of.
Clarisse is great: on time, neat, capable, competent. The cats loved her. She fed and exercised them, earning their trust. She kept the litter-box robot clean and functioning. House and animals were in fine shape upon our return. We've already decided we want Clarisse for our next trip.
