About: I’ve always been a dog person and have cared for dogs most of my life. I had a Boxer named Pantera, along with her mom and brother, Hercules, and now I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Diego. My experience includes daily walks, feeding, playtime, administering medications when needed, and making sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I’ve cared for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, and I understand that every dog has their own routine and needs. What sets me apart is that I truly treat every pet like family. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your furry family member. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, affection, and care, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Pet care fits well into my routine since I’m available on weekends and during weekday evenings. I love spending time with them, whether that’s going on walks, playing, feeding, or simply keeping them company. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets because I feel the same way about my own puppy. My goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I will take the time to learn your dogs schedule and routine that you already have in place for them. My goal is to make their time away from you as stress free as possible, whether that’s in my home or yours (whichever you prefer). I also like to send updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you’re away.
“Danielle is an incredible sitter who gave our two pets amazing love, care and attention. We met for a check-in meeting and immediately connected with her and booked her for multiple visits. She communicated with us clearly and gave us a great update about your pets. We trust her as much as we trust our friends and family.”

“I'm very pleased with the experience. I haven't left these cats with anyone before so I was of course a little anxious. The fact that one is an indoor cat and the other is a outdoor cat added a whole new level of attention needed and you managed that beautifully. I would definitely recommend Heather to anyone that needs your services”
“Paige was great! We came to San Diego with our pups on a trip and wanted to spend extra time away from our airbnb. She gave them some company and let them out. She sent me pictures while she was there and made us feel comfortable being away from our babies longer. Thank you!!”

About: I grew up in rural Vermont taking care of animals in so many different ways. My family has always had dogs and cats, and I’ve always been the point person for neighbors when folks head out of town. I’ve also worked on a farm for six consecutive years helping care for all type of animals from rabbits, to cows, pigs, chickens, sheep and more. I just moved to San Diego this past month and do not have any prior engagements, so right now all my focus can be on making sure your animals needs are met! I would love nothing more than to see the animals in this city and build connections with them and you! Currently I have a small apartment, but am able to get to parks very near by. At the time, cats and smaller dogs would be suited for boarding and visiting!
“Jazmin did a great job taking care of my cats while I was away. She communicated well and sent great photos. She also responded to additional requests promptly. I will be asking for her help in the future!”

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life and have experience with dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and temperaments. Over the years I’ve owned and cared for multiple pets, including helping with feeding routines, walks, play, medications when needed, and creating a calm, safe environment for them. I’m reliable, attentive, and understand how important consistency and trust are when someone is leaving their pet in another person’s care. My schedule is very flexible since I work and attend school online from home. That allows me to be present with pets throughout the day and provide consistent care, attention, and companionship. I live in a calm, pet-friendly home with a secure enclosed yard and a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive care throughout the day. I currently have a friendly cat and create a safe, loving environment where pets can feel comfortable and relaxed.

“I highly recommend Megan! She took excellent care of our cat while we were away and was great about everything - attentive to our pet, a great communicator, provided detailed notes and photos, and left everything in perfect order. Very grateful for her high quality care!”

“Lisa is a gem! She met with us before the trip and asked thoughtful questions to make sure she took good care of our two kitties. I knew she was paying great attention to them because her visit notes were spot on about our cats’ personalities and habits. It was fun to receive photos of them while we were gone. Most of all she really seems to like animals.”

“Vanessa was great! My cat tends to be skittish and kind of unwelcoming but he seemed to take to her super well. Appreciate all the extra effort playing and spending time with him.”

About: I have many years of hands-on experience caring for dogs at every stage of life, from energetic puppies learning the basics to senior pups who need a little extra patience, attention, and TLC. I’m comfortable reinforcing basic puppy training, including potty and crate routines, leash manners, and basic commands, and I’m happy to follow whatever training methods you use at home. I also have plenty of experience with senior dogs and understand the importance of adjusting walks, playtime, and daily routines to their individual mobility, energy level, and needs. I’m experienced in caring for multiple pets at once and managing different personalities, feeding schedules, walks, and routines. Most importantly, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pets with someone else; they’re part of the family and I’ll always treat them with the same patience, attention, and care I’d want for my own. I’m currently training and teaching jiu jitsu classes which allows me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to play with and care for your pets. Im able to build my schedule around your pets specific needs or energy levels and love going for little adventures to the park, beach, or where ever your pets favorite spot is! I treat every client’s home with the same care and respect I would my own. I’m clean, tidy, and mindful of your space while making sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their normal routine. For overnight or multi-night stays, my dog Lola does need to accompany me. She is a sweet, senior Rat Terrier who is accustomed to being around other pets. I typically provide daily photos and updates but am happy to provide whatever makes you comfortable in knowing your pet is in good hands.

“This was our first time using Rover. Ivy did a great job checking in on our dog for the three days we were gone. I appreciated her detailed daily check in notes and photos! I also appreciated that when I first messaged to inquire if she was free for the job, she responded quickly and came for a meet and greet that day. I would reach out to Ivy again for future pet care.”

About: I grew up loving dogs and have always considered them to be more than a best friend. They’re a member of the family! After COVID, I started dog sitting for friends and family members in my free time because it was so fun, and it was a nice break from my full-time job as a copywriter for Walmart’s corporate team. In 2024, I took my love for dogs a step further and got my own puppy. His name is Yukon, and he’s a lovable goofball with lots of energy. I’ve loved seeing his personality develop over the last few years and having chats with him about what makes him happy (he’s a Pomeranian Husky mix, so he’s always got lots to tell me!) It’s been such a joy to watch him grow into the happy little man that he is today. My goal as a sitter is to give your dog the best care that I can offer. I’ve house sat for dogs that need senior care (daily medications/specific food requirements), puppies that are just learning to navigate the world, energetic breeds that have high activity requirements, and larger dogs. I love them all and I’d love to offer you peace of mind knowing that your fur baby will be in the best hands should you choose to trust me with their care. ❤️🐾 I’m currently working part-time as a personal trainer trying to build up that business, so I have plenty of available hours for house visits, walks, and playtime. I live in a fenced in community that is very dog friendly. Your dog will be able to interact with Yukon—who is always looking to make new friends!—and the dogs in the neighborhood if they choose. It’s a great environment for socialization as well as for safety. I have room to crate your dog if needed or they are happy to explore my home and it make it their own as well. 😊 *Please note*: If you are hoping to book me for house sitting on an overnight basis, I will not be able to leave my own dog unattended. He’s absolutely great with other dogs and he loves people as well. I’m more than happy to do a meet and greet to see if it would be a fit for you and your pet, but if this is something you are not comfortable with, please book another sitter for this service.
“Annie was an amazing person to take care of my dog. Annie was very responsive and letting me know when they were available as well as all the updates. I needed to know that my dog was taken care of. When my dog was injured, I had special circumstances that Annie needed to follow and she did so With a positive attitude. I would recommend any for any pet parent.”

“Kalista was wonderful! I was so nervous leaving my cats and using Rover for the first time, but Kalista was so great and I was able to focus on my work trip and not worry.”

About: I grew up on a ranch in central Texas, where I encountered a wide range of different animals that often at times had different special or complex medical needs. This experience shaped me into the person I am today, who is kind, caring and always wanting to help out those in need. I currently have three dogs and two cats of my own and am an experienced foster parent with neonatal kittens and senior dogs. From drop in visits to enrichment walks, I've got you and your furry family members. We will come up with a solid plan for care, go over expectations, and what support feels best to your furry family member. Feel free to reach out with any questions scheduling request or setting up a meeting greet to see if your family member and I are a good fit for the support that you need! I have availability in the early mornings and late afternoons along with all day availability usually on the weekends. Please reach out for more information and to see if our schedules align. In my home, I have several different water sources for all of my animals, including a stainless steel filtered water fountain their food bowls get washed on the daily you given all the treats they could want along with research back supplements and high-quality food. I also make sure that each Animals individual needs are met whether that be needing to eat in another room needing some company while it’s meal time getting a belly rub or simply a cuddle after a long day.
“Armando is awesome! From the time we made contact, communication was great. My cat, Buddy, really enjoyed his time, and we are very grateful for Armando's commitment to Buddy's health and to the safety of our home. The first couple of days Buddy wasn't feeling well -- Armando and I reviewed the symptoms, made adjustments to food and medication, and within 24 hours we had turned a good corner! I got photos, activity reports, and we had a few phone calls at my request to make sure Armando had what he needed to keep my spoiled kitty happy :-). Thank You Armando!”

I’m so glad Stass and I found Christine! She is so sweet, detailed and communicative. I travel a lot for work, and it brings me such peace of mind to know that Stassi is in great hands while I’m away. I am so grateful for the care and consistent updates she always provides. I 100% recommend her and have even asked to be a recurring client of hers! Thank you so much Christine!

Latisha was an amazing sitter for my cats! I had her drop on a few times while I was out of town to check on my babies. She was thorough and kind and made sure my cats got treats, play time, and pets. I have a cat who is particularly untrusting of strangers and she seems to take to Latisha right away which honestly has never happened! I'll definitely contact her in the future if I need check ins done again - I can't recommend her enough!

I'm so grateful that Destiny was able to help out when my usual sitter had to cancel last minute! She was very conscientious, taking proactive steps to look after my cat when there was unusually hot weather & other unexpected issues that came up! Thanks again!
It was wonderful to have Ginny come daily in the morning and feed my two cats. One of my cats is way more social than the other, and she was able to get the shy one out and eating while she was there and also pet him. I knew my cats were in compassionate, caring and competent hands.

Joanne was a huge help when she came to check in on my dog while my family was at Disneyland. Even though it was a relatively late booking, she still went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. She came to check on him twice throughout the day and even sent me photos from their time together! I can't recommend her enough!
We had Chelsea over again to watch our 4 year old tuxedo cat. Her communication is always so great & she sends the sweetest photos. Also, my cat is actually obsessed with her. So thankful she makes going away that much easier! We will keep asking her back so long as she will have us!

Tina is an excellent cat sitter. She is a true professional. She is responsive, took good notes during our initial meeting, and sent thorough picture and written updates on my cat. She even suggested things I hadn't thought of, especially in case of emergency, which was very helpful.

Brenda is an amazing pet sitter. She is always on time and really cares about pets in her care. She communicates very well and helped with administering medications to my cat. I would highly recommend her and my cat, who was very fond of her, would recommend her as well.

Diesel is currently dealing with old dog vestibular syndrome, so I was pretty nervous about leaving him with a new sitter as my usual one was unavailable. Eric was great! He kept me updated with clear communication, sent plenty of photos, and gave extra care to support Diesel’s condition and progress. He even offered extra drop-ins to make sure Diesel was comfortable. That level of care gave me peace of mind while I was away. I will definitely be booking with Eric again. Highly recommend!

First time Brittany did a drop in for us for our 2 doggies who are very protective and take a while to warm up. Brittany even did a meet and greet prior which was super helpful so she could meet us and the dogs and feel everything out. Brittany’s communication and care is top notch and is truly appreciated.
