Hi, I’m Monica! 👋 I adore cats, so I started caring for them full-time as a local sitter. From shy rescues to playful kittens, I adjust my care approach so every cat feels safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. While most of my clients are cats, I’m also happy to care for low-energy and senior dogs of all sizes. I am also familiar with caring for birds, rodents, reptiles/snakes, fish, and various farm animals. Additionally, I have experience administering insulin, IV fluids, respiratory inhalers, oral, and topical medications.

Monica was fantastic ! We didn’t have a chance to meet prior to her visit as I booked last minute . Everything went extremely smooth and my two cats were well cared for . Schedule
I am available full-time, including holidays and weekends. My schedule is flexible and I am happy to work with both new and returning clients in San Diego.

I treat every home with respect, keep a clean work environment, and aim to make your pets feel as relaxed and safe as possible in your absence. PLEASE NOTE: During holidays and peak booking periods, drop-ins are focused strictly on essential tasks to ensure all pets are cared for reliably and safely. Time on site may be shortened when all care tasks are completed.
A typical day
Activities and playtime vary from pet to pet, so I remain flexible and attentive to their needs. Whether they want some safe but distant company or full engagement, I’m here for it all.
