I’m very attentive, patient, and intentional about making sure pets feel safe, loved, and engaged while their parents are away. I love the outdoors and regularly take my own dog on long walks, trails, and weekly dog park adventures, so your pet will get the exercise, stimulation, and fun they deserve. Whether it’s a drop-in visit or a walk, I focus on quality time, safety, and giving your pet the care I’d want for my own :) I work full time serving our State of California😊 however my job has very flexible hours and I make my own schedule. I work remote pretty often as well. Caring for pets is no problem as long as I can schedule ahead of time :) Weekends are also great for me as well! I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I would want for my own. During drop-in visits, I make sure all your pet’s needs are met like feeding, fresh water, comfort, potty breaks, and playtime, all while keeping their routine consistent and stress free. On walks, safety is always my top priority, and I’m attentive, patient, and aware of your pet’s pace and surroundings. I also love sending plenty of photo updates, so you’re never left wondering how your pup is doing and can feel confident they’re happy, safe, and cared for.

About: Dedicated Care for Your Little ones! I only take animals from one owner at a time, so your furbaby/furbabies will be getting all my attention. I've been a mom and auntie to a menagerie of furbabies and I can't wait to meet yours! I've been caring for pets all my life and I'm currently an empty nester, so your little ones will be getting all my love and attention. My goal isn't to be the most exciting sparkle in the room (unless that's a clear preference), just a safe, calm, and welcoming presence. I initiate trust by giving animals the space to come to me and listening to their language of need and desire. I enjoy playing and romping with kits and pups, and I also love to learn what an older cat or dog can teach me about fun and games, nurture, treasure hunting, and shy curiosity. Once we've gotten to know each other and I've learned a few of their games, we're soon snuggling and it is always hard to leave. I do not have any formal vet training, but I am willing and able to follow clear instructions for animals with special needs. Examples of specialty care experience include: Small and medium sized-dogs who have acute separation anxiety. Several months of weekend and overnight care for a canine cancer survivor. Nightly subcutaneous saline for cats living with kidney failure. Care for other small animals, including rabbits, gerbils, hamsters, and a ferret (5 years). Cat-walking (leashed). I enjoy taking pics and will send updates twice daily. I'm currently working from home part-time as a consultant, so I can flex my day's structure around your furbabies' needs. This means that if your furbaby is staying with me: I have lots of lap time available, with frequent walk/play breaks throughout my day. If you are looking for dedicated attention, we can discuss your needs related to my current schedule. When I'm boarding, I only work for one client at a time, so if you have a menagerie, let's talk. I often work outside on my deck and I have a fenced yard so I can supervise your little ones in the sun (and shade) during the day. If you prefer they stay inside when not playing ball, I can do that too and they'll still be able to watch the hummingbirds. My space is pet friendly and they are welcome on my comfy furniture and on the bed with me unless you want them crated or floor trained. I prefer you bring their own toys and dishes for safety, but can provide mine on your request. Structure and consistency can be very important, so I'll ask you about specific commands, rules, and what they are working on. When walking cats and dogs that I don't know well, I prefer not to socialize them with other animals or people. If you take them to dog parks etc., I'll need to understand their behavior and signals of when it is time to go. My house is small, but my yard is very large.

About: I am a lifelong dog lover and owner. My wife and I recently lost our beloved Yorkshire Terrier after 17 love-filled years and need the love of a dog in the house with us. I have experience with senior dogs and know the extra love, care and attention they may need. I love to get out and see the city so your dog would get plenty of walks if needed. I'm a photographer so you can expect plenty of pics while your dog is in my care. I am a self-employed photographer and available to be home throughout the day as much as needed. My son is at school most of the day which leaves plenty of time to care for your dog or cat. I have a large fenced in yard for all the exploring and sniffing needs your dog might have. We live on a quiet block without much traffic and have a nearby canyon that is perfect for on-leash walks.

About: I have always helped out with neighbors and family’s pet care needs as I have had pets my whole life- mostly cats- who have dealt with diseases like FIP and after dealing with the at home medical care needed, I feel the hands on care has taught me a lot about pets in general. I love being around my animals and other animals. I started volunteering at pet shelters in high school. I am more than comfortable with the basic care needs for cats or dogs- or other pets even! I am available most morning/afternoons for pet care! I work in a restaurant most nights but i’m very flexible. I also work retail at Fashion Valley but both jobs offer a flexible schedule. I keep things calm, clean, and safe when caring for pets in my home or yours. I follow your pet’s routine and instructions closely and make sure they’re always comfortable. I’m mindful about doors, leashes, and their surroundings, and I keep their space tidy and stress free.
