“Micheal is awesome. Really great with my cats. Super communicative, kind, and took great care of everyone. My super shy cat came to hang out with him multiple times I was out!”

About: Hi my name is Alexandrea ! But you can call me Alex or Allie:) I grew up around doggies all my life in my household, from big dog breeds to tiny teacup malteses so I have a lot of experience of taking care of different breeds. My old puppy who just sadly passed away over a year ago, suffered a siezured disorder for over 7 years, so I have a lot of experience with siezure disorders/giving medications and following any strict dietary needs. I have a one bedroom apartment which the doggie can feel free to be on any furnite or bedding (anything can be washed I don’t care as long as they are comfy:) ), I have a small/mediumish size porch on the first floor with fake grass but I do love going outside and on walks! I live under 7 minutes from the beach/dog parks so the doggie will get plenty of play time and sunshine! I have a free schedule 24/7 right now!! As my fire season has ended so I’m very open to whenever and whatever is needed :)! I have a one bedroom apartment but the doggie can be on any furnite or bedding as long as they are comfy! They are free to wonder in my apartment as well unless you have other rules/restrictions for me to follow:) I have a small/mediumish size porch on my first floor apartment but I do rather be outside and take them on as many play walks as needed/wanted:)

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has only progressed into adulthood. I am passionate about taking care of animals and provide them with all the care that they deserve. I'm currently working remote and have the flexibility to care for pets during all hours of the day. I am also available on the weekend and more than happy to watch overnight. I will take the time to make sure everything is secure and comfortable in the clients home before leaving and provide the pup with what is recommended by the owner before they return home. If a pup is staying at my home, I will make sure they get plenty of attention and will create a safe environment for them.
“Latisha took fantastic care of my cat while I was out of town for work! She was very quick to communicate and meet prior to me leaving and sent great pics and info after each visit. It definitely put me at ease knowing my cat was being taken care of and I will definitely be booking again the next time I need to travel!”

About: I have been taking care of animals ever since I was young! My first dog was a Husky mix, my first cat was a long haired Angora, and I have a great love for animals of all shapes and sizes. I’ve cared for young animals, rescuing and nursing both kittens and puppies, as well as cared for older seniors for family and friends. I’ve even lived with and cared for cows, chickens, turtles, and bunnies! I’m a confident, well-attuned pet sitter who would be delighted to meet and care for your furry family members. At the moment, I don’t have any pets of my own, so getting to walk, watch, and spend time with animals (and get to know my community) is a real highlight of my week. I am an environmentalist who works from home with a flexible schedule, so I have lots of time to spend with your animals! I am available for overnight stays or check in’s any night of the week, and can arrange stops as often as needed with a bit of notice. Don’t hesitate to reach out with last minute bookings — always happy to see what I can do! I have a fenced yard with no other animals at the moment — perfect to give attention and a calm setting to your pets! While I am happy to host your fur babies, I am also comfortable caring for them in your home where they are most familiar with their surroundings!
About: I was an experienced dog walker at my local humane society for 4 years, as well as having a dog of my own. I've had multiple cats as well, and love allll furry friends! I also have years of experience pet sitting neighbors and friends animals, and will send you lots of updates & photos of your fur babies !! I work a 8-4 Monday to Friday, and can be flexible on times apart from these hours - let me know when you need a helping hand, and I can be there. I read all instructions and prepare myself for the visit before entering the home, to make sure each pet owner feels comfortable as well as the fur baby. I love to win their love with treats and gentle movements to make them feel comfortable, until I can proceed to give them lots of pets and love

About: I get along with every dog that comes my way; big or small, I surely do love them all. im very interjectingn and do enjoy long walks in the park. Playing fetch is favorite. I’ve taken care of my dogs for years before they passed. I’ve also dog sat and house sat for a year and absolutely loved it. I will give lots of belly rubs and kisses. I’m available during the week in the afternoon from 12-9pm, I’m open on the weekends all day. I will be sure to take care of your pup just as well as you do. Providing love and affection and fun all day long. I hope I’m a good fit for you and your dog My schedule is fairly flexible. Just reach out and we can definitely work something out. I understand the struggles of wanting to live your best life but you have to be a pet parent first. I have no problem working with you :) With my dog Domino I try to keep him safe and clean as much as possible. He has allergies so I have two HEPA air purifiers running at all time to reduce pollen, dust, etc. I give him a good wipe down before re-entering our home, just to keep the house clean but for my dog as well. We always have lots of play time.
About: I’ve had dogs from as far back as I can remember. I’ve taken care of animals of all kinds from turtles, or rabbits, to cows and chickens. Growing up we often had litters of puppies so I’m very comfortable with them and aware of their extra needs. I even know puppy Heimlich. For older dogs that require more patience and a little extra love, I’m more than willing to go the extra mile. I love to play with dogs of all kinds, take them on walks, feed and refill their water, or even just give them the company they need. I will make sure your pet(s) well taken care of and I will clean up any messes that they may cause. (With my current living conditions I cannot have pets of my own, which is another reason why I would like to take care of yours) I am active duty navy, currently I tend to work evenings, and I know in advance what my schedule will be. Due to this, I can be sure that I can care for any pets at the provided times. If I am pet sitting in your home, I won’t leave a mess, even if it’s caused by the pet. I will make sure your pet is comfortable and it needs will be met. I can also help with basic training i.e. sit, lay down, Ect. on walks, I can help with leash pulling and basic manners.
About: Hi! I’m Jasmine. I work from home full-time as a Business Finance Consultant and live an active lifestyle. I’ve had pets for as long as I can remember—my family was always a big dog family, and I currently share a home with my roommate’s cat. While I’m new to Rover, I have plenty of experience caring for friends’ pets through pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking. Even though I don’t have pets of my own right now, I’d love the opportunity to meet some furry friends through Rover! I do this both for fun and as supplemental income in my free time, so I’m flexible on cost and cancellation. Most importantly, your pet’s safety, happiness, and comfort are always my top priority. PS: I am allergic to cats (ironic, I know!), so I’m happy to accept cat drop-in visits but can’t host longer bookings like daycare, boarding, or house sitting. Because I WFH full-time, I have the flexibility to step away throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, or drop-ins. My active lifestyle means I’m always happy to get outside and give dogs plenty of exercise, whether that’s a quick neighborhood walk or a longer adventure. I typically schedule pet care around my mornings, lunch breaks, and evenings—perfect times for feeding, walking, or play sessions. My weekends vary but happy accommodate longer visits, extended walks, or multiple check-ins. When I care for pets in your home, I make it a point to keep their routine as close to normal as possible—same feeding times, walk schedules, play sessions, and cuddles they’re used to. I know pets feel safest in familiar surroundings, so I aim to keep things stress-free and consistent. I’ll also send plenty of updates, photos, and videos so you can relax knowing your furry friend is happy and cared for.

About: My name is Danny, born and raised in San Diego. I’ve been around and cared for dogs my whole life and just moved in to my own spot. I currently don’t have my own pup and just started with Rover but I work remote and have a very easy schedule to help care for some pups in my free time! I currently work from home and have a lot of freedom with my job, adding a pup to my routine where I already take 2 long walks every day would just be fun! I cannot host any dogs in my home but will gladly follow the routine and rules in your home when it comes to your pet! I’m respectful and will go above and beyond in making sure the home is cared for as well.
Midtown District pet parents share their Rover experiences
I’m VERY protective over my cat and don’t trust easily, but this sitter made everything feel effortless. Great communication, thoughtful updates, and my cat was clearly comfortable and cared for the entire time. Zero stress on my end, which is honestly priceless. Would book again in a heartbeat.

Regan did an amazing job taking care of my three cats. She was extremely careful, attentive, and followed all of my instructions perfectly. She always responded quickly to my messages and kept me updated, letting me know if anything was needed and about them. In addition to their daily care, she took the time to play with the cats and made sure they were comfortable and happy. I truly appreciated her dedication and reliability. I highly recommend Regan to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Megan is a wonderful cat sitter! Her photos and updates gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Loved that our kitty Hazel let Megan groom her — she even put her head on Megan’s lap, which never happens with us! Everything was in top shape upon our return. Megan is our go-to for cat care!

Emma was absolutely wonderful taking care of my cat, Doja. Doja can be on the anxious side, and Emma was incredibly patient, attentive, and communicative throughout the entire stay. She was also extremely flexible and stepped in to help for an additional five days on short notice, which I truly appreciated. I felt completely at ease knowing Doja was in such caring and capable hands. I would highly recommend Emma to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.

I don’t even know where to begin. Ralph was beyond professional, communicative, and understanding. My cat unexpectedly showed aggression and anxious behaviors toward him early on in the booking, and I was initially distraught. Ralph not only helped relieve my worries, but also showed genuine compassion toward my kitty. I truly could not recommend him enough. Thank you again!

It was my first time using Rover, and I was out of town for the Christmas holiday needing someone to check in on my cat. Callahan did a fantastic job! She cleaned his litter box, refreshed his water, and made sure he got lots of love and attention. She was incredibly communicative, prompt, and responsible throughout the entire stay. I would absolutely recommend her and would happily book with her again!
