“Nicholas once again went above and beyond for our cat Pete!!! He gave us very detailed daily updates with lots of photos, which we appreciated since he watched our cat for such a long time! Pete was always so happy to see him, and I really appreciated how Nicholas took the time to play with him. He has watched Pete on two separate occasions, one of the occasions lasting almost two weeks, and we would highly recommend him!”

“Kaitlyn was extremely communicative, punctual, kind, good-humored, and got along very well with my cat. My cat seemed well cared for when I got back from my two week trip and everything was tidy and in its place. I would definitely hire her again and would recommend her to anyone. Thanks Kaitlyn!”

“Alena did a great job with taking care of our cat over a 4-day period. Even though he is a very shy cat (we could hardly get him out during her first meet & greet visit), he quickly warmed up to her. She performed all basic care well and showed him good attention with pets and brushes. She kept us well-informed with Rover cards and pictures of our kitty on a daily basis. She communicates timely, she responded to my messages in short time. Overall we were satisfied with her care of our cat and would highly recommend her.”

“Angela was fantastic! Easy to work with and very responsive. She took excellent care of our cat, and sent lots of pictures and videos to let us know he was happy and healthy while we were away.”

“Alex is always the best! My bulldog loves spending time with her when Im out of town. Also, Alex was kind enough to leave the porch light and a small light on when I got come after a long day stuck at the airport. Very thoughtful and considerate, really appreciated! Thank you Alex!”

“Once again, I came home to a very happy kitty who was in Latisha’s care. She sent detailed updates on my cat’s progress daily, and spent the visit brushing, playing and feeding him. I can tell that he’s so happy when he’s with her and my cat is picky! Highly recommend Latisha :)”

I have a very open schedule most days right now. Every morning is open and free except before 10 am on wednesdays. Tell me your availability and I’ll let you know a time and day that works for me! About: Pet Care Experience / What Sets Me Apart I provide calm, attentive care and treat every dog like an individual. I’ve been around dogs most of my life growing up with them and living with dogs owned by family and roommates, so I’m comfortable with daily routines, reading body language, and creating a low-stress environment. What sets me apart is my patience, consistency, and communication. I follow care instructions closely, keep owners updated with photos and messages, and focus on making dogs feel safe and comfortable, especially in a new environment. I’m a great fit for well-mannered dogs, seniors, or dogs that prefer a relaxed setting rather than a high-energy group environment. I’m happy to accommodate specific routines, administer basic oral medications, and adjust care to meet each dog’s needs. I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m available throughout the day to care for pets, including walks, playtime, and feeding time I prioritize a safe and comfortable environment for every pet. Whether in my home or yours, I make sure pets are supervised, given plenty of attention, and kept away from hazards. I follow your instructions closely and create a calm, trusting atmosphere so your pet feels secure and happy
About: I recently graduated from veterinary school and am looking for pet care work while I await the start of my internship in June. I am located in the Bankers Hill area but am willing to drive to you! I have over 10 years of pet care experience, although I haven't worked within the Rover app for some time while I was pursuing my studies. I have 3 cats and a dog of my own, and love meeting other people's fur babies. I accept same-day requests and will provide photo/message updates so you know how everything is going. I am open to puppies and kittens as well as I have fostered many many babies during my vet school years. I am comfortable with all breeds as well as pups who are a bit nervous around other people or other dogs. I look forward to meeting you and your fur children! I am currently working part time doing vaccination clinics and driving with uber eats/instacart until my internship starts in mid-June. Otherwise, I will be focused on spending time with your kiddos! I'm lucky to have so much flexibility and therefore can take on same-day requests. Depending on what you and your pet needs, my care will vary. You need someone to quickly walk your pup while you're at work? You got it. You want someone to pet sit while you're out of town and you have a high energy pup that needs longer walks and lots of playtime/socialization? You got it. You have kitties that are shy and need gentle human interaction while you're busy? You got it. I am flexible and willing to meet you wherever you need me.
About: Hi, I’m Ken 👋 I bring years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all temperaments, from playful pups to anxious and senior dogs who need a little extra patience. I’m a PAWS of Coronado Volunteer Behavior Training Level 1 graduate, and I’ve spent years volunteering in shelter environments where safety, calm handling, and compassion truly matter. I’ve also worked alongside canine police officers in training scenarios, giving me a strong foundation in reading dog behavior, maintaining control, and building trust through calm, consistent energy. Dogs tend to respond quickly to me — and both dogs and kids seem to sense that steady, grounded disposition. Every walk is about more than exercise. It’s about trust, structure, and care. I treat every dog as if they were my own and every client with the respect and reliability I’d expect for my own family. I maintain a structured weekly schedule so I can be dependable and fully present for each pet: • Mondays: Early mornings available (6:00–9:00 AM) Afternoon & evening available (2:30–10:00 PM) • Tuesdays: Available after 3:00 PM • Wednesdays: Available after 10:00 AM • Thursdays: Open availability • Fridays: Available after 4:00 PM • Weekends: Flexible availability I only accept bookings I can fully commit to, ensuring every walk or visit is calm, safe, and unhurried. How I Care for Pets Whether I’m caring for pets in my client’s home or during walks and drop-in visits, my approach is centered on safety, structure, and trust. I take time to understand each dog’s routine, temperament, and any training cues or boundaries already in place. I follow the owner’s instructions closely and keep things consistent, because dogs thrive on routine and calm leadership. I’m trained in reading body language and stress signals, which helps me adjust in real time and keep pets comfortable and secure. In a client’s home, I’m respectful, organized, and low-impact. I leave the space as I found it and provide updates so owners feel informed and at ease. During walks, I prioritize safe leash handling, situational awareness, and positive reinforcement. I don’t rush walks — I allow time for exercise, enrichment, and mental stimulation. Above all, I treat every pet as an individual. Some dogs want adventure, others need reassurance. My goal is always the same: a calm, safe, and positive experience for both the pet and their owner.

About: Proud cat-mom to an orange tabby for the last six years. I know cats have very unique personalities, and some take time to warm up. I'm willing to take the time to build a relationship and give them the space or cuddles they need. I'm able to administer eye and ear drops and oral medications. I've taken care of dogs since I was a teenager and am the proud dog-mom to a goldendoodle. I understand the need for attentive walks and plenty of engagement. I can do walks, in-home visits, and overnights. I'd love to talk with you more about your dog's personality and needs to make sure that I'm tailoring care for them. Whether car or dog, I want to make sure your pet gets the best care and love possible while you're away! Pet-sitting is currently my full-time job, so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your furbaby. I can be available for walks or visits starting after 8 am and throughout the evening. I can visit several times a day for potty breaks. Also available for overnight stays. I will talk to you about your pet's personality and needs to make a personalized experience. I approach pets with calmness and kindness, but also firmness for the rules you've set. I remain attentive during walks and playtime to ensure safety.

About: Hey! I’ve grown up with large dogs such as Great Danes and Irish Wolfhounds since I was a kid and have also cared for smaller dogs such as miniature schnauzers and cockapoos. I love and I can handle dogs of all sizes and age. I am a nurse who works only 3 days a week and I love going on walks on my days off. I figured I could at least help out some doggies who need a walk while I’m at it! I treat all animals with respect and love. At this moment my only furry friend is my cat, Tofu, and I miss having a dog to walk and play with. I would treat your dog as my own and ensure it is safe at all times during our walk.
About: My main job is nannying multiple children, whose family pets and homes I have also cared for. I’ve cared for a variety of dogs and cats, from simply walking, to providing medication, and sitting/boarding. I nanny for work and have a very flexible schedule! I have a lot of open availability during my weeks, evenings, overnight, and weekends. I’m also up super early and get a lot of steps in daily so not a problem incorporating that into my routine. I have no pets at home, I live in an apartment with a gate balcony and I walk A LOT so that’s no problem! As for others homes, I’m used to it for my job as a nanny. I care for others’ spaces and loved ones as those it was all my own.

I’ll always do my best to match your pet’s routine and keep things consistent and comfortable. I live in a cozy, pet-friendly apartment with my sweet German Shepherd and my friendly cat — both are used to being around other animals and love the company! “Darya is the perfect rover! I recently used her for drop-in visits while I was away, she was punctual, made sure I was updated with pictures, and took wonderful care of my Luna. Would highly recommend to others and will be using her again for future services.”

I booked Aleksandra for two drop ins. Arranging key drop off was easy. She followed directions well and made sure my auto cat feeders and fountain were working. She also gave my clingy elderly cat a cuddle! She even got an action shot of my skittish young cat, I didn’t expect her to even see him lol. Would book again.

Jayna was fantastic with our 10-month-old boy! She’s wonderful with him. She was professional, communicative, followed our instructions carefully, and even went above and beyond to make sure he felt comfortable while we were away. Jayna is truly part of the family now, and our pup loves seeing her. Thank you for everything, Jayna — you’re the best!

This is the second time Brooke has looked after our babies and done such an amazing job! I can truly relax when I'm out of town knowing that she is watching after them. She sends tons of amazing pictures and gives the best updates, she just goes above and beyond!

Ivy was amazing with Sophie again. We got updates throughout or vacation and it made me feel happy and relieved that Sophie was in great hands. Sophie and Ivy’s connection is genuine and you can tell Ivy is an animal, and in our case a cat, person. Would recommend to anyone with a kitty.

Kaitie is the only person we trust with our cats. She has shown up time and time again, providing excellent care for our kitties every time. I hate being away from home but I know that Kaitie is going to make sure the cats are safe, fed, and taken care of. She communicates well and sends lots of pictures. I love that there are multiple pictures of each cat so I can really see how they’re doing. I can say with certainty that if Kaitie didn’t have availability for a specific time, we would do everything in our power to change plans so that we could confirm she would be here to watch over our cats. That is how much we love her. Also, she always leaves our home so clean. She washed the cat dishes and sweeps which makes coming home so much easier.
