About: Hey, I’m Izayah! Navy veteran here originally from Texas. I’ve been caring for pets since I was 14, from small animals to big dogs and I’ve built a solid rep through word of mouth by being someone people can fully trust. Dogs vibe with my calm energy, and I treat every pet like family and every home with respect. Whether you’re heading out for the weekend or just need daily help, I’ve got you covered with dependable, loving care. Based in San Diego and ready to give your furry fam the attention and chill energy they deserve! I am a Navy Veteran, currently self employed as a personal trainer. I currently go to school 3 days a week for 4hrs. Caring for animals in my spare time is joyous being that I don’t have a pet of my own! I will follow all directions concerning your pet and or house to provide an exceptional experience. Respect is engraved in my morals your home and pets will be in the best care.
About: I grew up on a farm and have been taking care of all sorts of animals since childhood, from dogs and cats to goats and chickens. I pet sit regularly for friends and friends of friends and always get rave reviews. I love animals and am the person people’s pets often seek out from a group to cuddle up with. I work 9-5, so I’m best suited for weekend sitting or for pets that can be left alone for a full work shift, though I’m very diligent outside of work hours I have lots of energy and love to give to your pet. Whether they prefer to curl up on the couch and have a chill night or need to get their energy out outside, I’m happy to spend time with them and give them the care they need. I’m especially happy to hear about any quirks your pet may have and how I can best give them care. If you want daily photos and updates on your pet, I’ll gladly provide, and if you only want notifications if somethings wrong, I can do that as well.

“Crystal took amazing care of my cat while we were away. We ended up needing to extending the days of care, and she was able to accommodate the extra days without any issue. She was very communicative throughout. Highly recommend! ☺️”

“Kaitlyn was extremely communicative, punctual, kind, good-humored, and got along very well with my cat. My cat seemed well cared for when I got back from my two week trip and everything was tidy and in its place. I would definitely hire her again and would recommend her to anyone. Thanks Kaitlyn!”

About: Dog mom for 8 years! 🐕🦺 I’m the girl at the party who’s petting the dog lol. Would love to help you out with walks + get some steps in too! I work full-time Monday through Friday, but still got time for pups! I’m available for early morning walks, late-night drop-ins, or strolls on most weekends. 🐕🦺 I don’t offer boarding or house sitting because I don’t want to leave mine alone overnight. (Smaller size dogs are an exception for boarding.) I focus on walks and drop-ins to keep my own dog’s routine uninterrupted 🐾
About: Hi there! I’m new to pet sitting on Rover, but I’ve been a lifelong dog lover! I’ve had my own Pomeranian names Simba for 10 years, so I know how special our furry friends are. Right now, I’m looking for a job, so I have lots of free time to give your pup the attention they deserve! I offer dog walking and daytime at-home sitting in Downtown and nearby areas, so your dog will have a buddy all day. I’m excited to meet your pup and keep them safe, happy, and active! Requested information about your pet I just ask to let me know in advance what NOT to do/say with your pet. For example, my Pomeranian gets crazy zoomies if you say ‘who’s there?’, he rushes to my front door, spins and bark and it till he will not get absolutely tired. I would also like to know all important details about your pet friendliness with other animals and humans, their health and of course your preferred Pet Hospital. I’m currently actively looking for a remote job in Tech so I have all the time in the world to spend quality time with you fluffy friend. As I have my own pup waiting for me at home, I am looking for more standard working hours I’m not able to host pets at my home, but I’m more than happy to stay at your place for multiple hours during the day. I’ll follow all your pet’s routines, instructions, and any safety measures you have in place. Just let me know your preferences, and I’ll make sure I follow them closely!
“Angela was fantastic! Easy to work with and very responsive. She took excellent care of our cat, and sent lots of pictures and videos to let us know he was happy and healthy while we were away.”

“Thank you for all the pics love it!! When you come back this evening can you just close the blinds! And leave the light on above the stove (turn the dile where stove vent/fan is)”

About: I currently have the privilege of having two senior dogs that have been in my care for 13 years. I am aware of the patience, love and commitment it takes, having and caring for a pet that solely relies on you. I am comfortable administering medications and dealing with food modifications. I have also helped foster in the past. I am home during the day, with light serving shift 3 times a week at night. Long or short walks are available, as well as playtime, boarding and overnight care. My home is your pets home! I love my neighborhood. While I do not have direct access to a back yard, I am super close to multiple dog parks and live in a very walkable neighborhood.
About: Hello, my name is Nicole! I am a dog mom to Duke looking to care for other dogs at my home and provide a friend for Duke. I work remotely & live in a dog-friendly apartment building with a small side balcony & can provide plenty of walk and play time. I’ve been a dog owner for the past four years but have cared for my family dogs and friends’ dogs for the past 10 years. I have experience caring for elder dogs as well, specifically a blind dog I have helped care for for the past few years. I am typically available for boarding on the weekends and for sitting during the week! My dog is small (~7 pounds) and loves to make new friends, playing well with dogs of all sizes & ages
“I booked Aleksandra for two drop ins. Arranging key drop off was easy. She followed directions well and made sure my auto cat feeders and fountain were working. She also gave my clingy elderly cat a cuddle! She even got an action shot of my skittish young cat, I didn’t expect her to even see him lol. Would book again.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 15. I walked and watched my neighbors, friends and family’s dogs when they went on vacation or during the day for potty breaks. I love dogs and have always had a dog of my own. I will treat your dog as if they were mine. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I walk my dog every 3 hours with a long walk in the morning and evening. I walk my dog very frequently, with a long walk in the morning and evening adding up to 5 miles a day. I can also take your dog to the dog park if you and your dog are comfortable with the dog park. I can crate and give medicine if necessary.
About: I have been a certified bottle feeder with the San Diego Humane Society for the last five years. I have also volunteered and fostered animals ranging from one week old to animals at the end of their life needing special care. I am an attorney who works from home so my schedule is flexible. I live alone so my days get slow without some animal companionship! I have many references from friends I have house sat for. I follow a strict schedule and treat animals and their home as I would my own.

I can't recommend Emily enough! She is incredibly kind, trustworthy, and genuinely cares about my senior pup. I always feel completely safe leaving my dog in her care, which gives me so much peace of mind. She's also an excellent communicator and keeps me updated every step of the way. Even when my family threw a few unexpected curveballs her way, she handled everything with patience, flexibility, and a great attitude. We are so grateful to have found her!

Marcie did a fantastic job looking after our cats and went far above and beyond taking care of them when one of them got sick after we'd left the country. She took Huey to the vet twice, administered medication, isolated him as needed while keeping him company, while making sure Slinky was well looked after as well. The boys love her as do we, and we hope to work with her again soon!

Alena did a wonderful job all around walking and feeding my two pups while I was away overnight. She was kind, dependable, and responsive, sending me many adorable pictures from the walks. I could relax being away knowing my babies were in great hands. Look forward to having her her watch them again!
