About: I have a Mini Australian Shepard of my own who is 3 years old, whom I trained myself. He is very well behaved. Additionally, I’ve been a dog and cat sitter for friends and family over the past 5 years. My service will include lots of walks, love, and play time with your pet. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available all day on weekends and on weekdays after 6 p.m. Although I live in an apartment, I do have access to 2 fenced dog parks across the street and I live close to Balboa park which makes for great walks!

About: I love animals I would treat them as my own fur babies I would love to have a dog or cat but I can’t due to my landlord so this is the 2nd best option I love going on walks and adding a doggie would only add to my walk. I have a pretty flexible schedule and very open to making it work! I would treat them with the up most care and love they’re just babies and it’s the fur babies world I’m just living in it

About: I used to have a cat and a hamster and currently own a dog (does not live with me). I have personally trained him and he is now living with my family! I currently go to college in the morning so my availability will be the afternoons along with the weekends in the afternoon and night! I can do boarding on the weekends while caring during the afternoon on the week days! I enjoy playing or relaxing with your animal depending on what they like to do! For dogs, there is a pet relief area in my apartment building however if they are not comfortable with that and/or you have a senior dog, i do have fake grass on my patio right outside of my apartment!

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, from playful puppies to sweet senior dogs, and understand that every dog has their own routine, personality, and needs. My wife and I currently share our home with Callie, our friendly 8-year-old terrier mix who loves meeting and playing with other pups. We also cared for our beloved Daisy for 17 wonderful years. We treat every dog like family—with patience, affection, attention, and plenty of fun. I work from home, so your dog will have company and supervision for most of the day. I typically take dogs for a daily lunchtime walk and can provide frequent backyard play and potty breaks. A few times each week, we visit local dog parks or dog-friendly beaches for dogs who enjoy those outings. If your dog prefers quieter activities, we’re equally happy taking an extra walk or enjoying relaxed playtime at home. Our one-story home has a large, securely fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and enjoy fresh air. We have plenty of cozy dog beds and create a comfortable, supervised environment indoors and out. There is one flight of stairs at the entrance, but everything inside is on one level. We take time to follow each dog’s feeding, medication, exercise, and comfort routines closely. For everyone’s safety, we can only care for dogs who are not aggressive.

Amaru is very social and has never shown aggression toward a dog or person. He’s also famously picky about food (😩) so visiting dogs don’t have to worry about him being possessive over food. That said, we still feed dogs separately as a standard precaution and never leave visiting dogs unsupervised together. 📸 Our camera roll is already full of Amaru photos, so sending you regular pictures and updates of your dog throughout the day comes naturally. 🚨We’ll also collect your vet’s information and an emergency contact before the stay, and we’ll reach out right away if we notice anything unusual. About: I have grown up with dogs all of my life and have experience with all ages from puppies to senior dogs and even special needs dogs. Before my current rescue dog Sadie girl, I had Ava. I adopted Ava as a puppy and she was healthy according to the vet but it turned out she had a neurological degenerative disease. With Ava I had experience in assisting with mobility issues, supported her with eating, drinking, and administering necessary medications. Now that I have Sadie who is a high energy large breed dog I have a lot of experience going on hikes and runs in local neighborhoods, visiting parks, and dog beaches. I am currently working part time and have plenty of time available for morning, afternoon, or evening walks depending on the day. I have a very flexible schedule and I am always ready for playtime, walks, and/or runs with your precious pup. I have a private fenced in courtyard with space to run around in or lay out in the sun with a strip of turf for potty time. I never leave my dogs unsupervised and we always practice safe leash habits by staying on leash until we’re in a safe designated off leash dog area. Special rules and needs will be respected with the utmost care, your fur baby is safe with me!

I have a senior dog of my own, Sammy, so I’m very comfortable with the routines, patience, and extra care that some dogs need, whether that’s slower walks, medication routines, or simply a calm and reassuring presence. I’m active, responsible, and love spending time outdoors, so I’m happy to tailor care to your dog’s needs, whether that means neighborhood walks, playtime, or relaxed companionship at home. My schedule is fairly flexible, and I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet care throughout the week. I prioritize safe, attentive, and individualized care for every dog. I take time to learn each dog’s routine, temperament, triggers, and any special instructions before providing care. I’m mindful of leash safety, secure doors and gates carefully, monitor for signs of stress or discomfort, and make sure they have fresh water, exercise, and a calm environment. I also understand that every dog is different, some want lots of activity and play, while others do better with a slower pace, extra patience, or a more structured routine. My goal is always to make dogs feel comfortable!
About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs for most of my life, and caring for them is something I truly love. I’ve also been dog sitting for family, friends, and neighbors here and there over the years, and during Covid, I would watch one of my close neighbor’s dogs for about a year. Now I’m excited to finally turn that passion into my job through Rover. My family has adopted rescue dogs from local shelters since I was 10 years old. Our first dog was Lucy, a sweet Chihuahua mix who completely stole our hearts. A few years later, we welcomed our sweet boy, Axle, into the family. About: I am innately an animal lover and advocate and will treat your pet as it were my own. I have been pet sitting for over a decade. I get super nervous leaving my own dog, so do everything in my power to ensure you and your pet are comfortable. From a young age, I was the kid that would come home with an injured wild animal asking my parents to help it. I grew up with a German Shepard and greyhound, and now have my own dog, who’s a pitty/boxer/cattle dog mix. I understand every dog has different needs and equipped to take care of high energy, intelligent dogs who need a lot of exercise and stimulation. I’ve taken care of small and big dogs as well as cats and bearded dragons. I’ve fostered dogs as well, so am familiar with anxious animals that need TLC and time and space to decompress. I currently have open availability from early morning through evenings during the week and weekends. I do long walks every morning and evening and keep pets on a consistent feeding schedule. I typically aim to take pets on walks 3 times a day depending on the animal needs and client’s requests. I also ensure adequate playtime with toys and activities that are engaging. I am happy to drop in as often as needed for more anxious animals.

About: 7 years experience working with a variety of dogs, cats, and small animals! Five days of the week, I manage a dog daycare, boarding and training facility. I’ve had experience in almost all positions and expanded my skills from working with dogs boarding with us, having to administer medication, look over and follow proper feeding instructions for each pet, provide the necessary and unique care for every pet that comes through our facility, worked in the doggy daycare yard as a camp counselor, have experience with customer service with new and current clients, maintained interpersonal relations with those pet owners. About: I have a Mini Australian Shepard of my own who is 3 years old, whom I trained myself. He is very well behaved. Additionally, I’ve been a dog and cat sitter for friends and family over the past 5 years. My service will include lots of walks, love, and play time with your pet. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available all day on weekends and on weekdays after 6 p.m. Although I live in an apartment, I do have access to 2 fenced dog parks across the street and I live close to Balboa park which makes for great walks!

“It was our first time ever having our dogs stay at someone’s home vs going to a boarding facility. Jennifer and Donald were awesome with our 2 Weimaraners, who can be demanding and a handful. We got photos and sometimes videos on a daily basis, which helped put our minds at ease during our vacation over Thanksgiving. We could see that our dogs were getting great walks, being properly fed and in a loving environment. Jennifer and Donald were also very accommodating when our drop off time had to move up an hour early in the morning. All in all, we highly recommend them.”
