About: I have grown up with dogs all of my life and have experience with all ages from puppies to senior dogs and even special needs dogs. Before my current rescue dog Sadie girl, I had Ava. I adopted Ava as a puppy and she was healthy according to the vet but it turned out she had a neurological degenerative disease. With Ava I had experience in assisting with mobility issues, supported her with eating, drinking, and administering necessary medications. Now that I have Sadie who is a high energy large breed dog I have a lot of experience going on hikes and runs in local neighborhoods, visiting parks, and dog beaches. I am currently working part time and have plenty of time available for morning, afternoon, or evening walks depending on the day. I have a very flexible schedule and I am always ready for playtime, walks, and/or runs with your precious pup. I have a private fenced in courtyard with space to run around in or lay out in the sun with a strip of turf for potty time. I never leave my dogs unsupervised and we always practice safe leash habits by staying on leash until we’re in a safe designated off leash dog area. Special rules and needs will be respected with the utmost care, your fur baby is safe with me!

About: I love animals I would treat them as my own fur babies I would love to have a dog or cat but I can’t due to my landlord so this is the 2nd best option I love going on walks and adding a doggie would only add to my walk. I have a pretty flexible schedule and very open to making it work! I would treat them with the up most care and love they’re just babies and it’s the fur babies world I’m just living in it

About: Hi my name is Abby! I have cared for and been around dogs my entire life. Grew up mainly with Rotties, so I have a special love for big dogs. I also did pet sitting for neighbors on and off throughout high school and college. Earlier this year I also fostered a Husky for 3 months, my roommate at the time was able to adopt him so I still see him regularly when I visit her. I am very active and love to go on walks, runs, and even hikes with doggies. I currently live a very pet friendly building with a dog spa and a nearby dog park. I do not have any pets currently so this is perfect to make some extra bucks while I am in graduate school and get in some much needed dog time. I’m currently in graduate school, so my schedule has some flexibility throughout the week. I am available Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. I also have time Tuesdays after 2pm. I’m happy to work with your schedule and can provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and companionship. I especially enjoy staying active with dogs through walks, runs, and hikes! I’ve cared for dogs my entire life and grew up primarily with Rottweilers, so I’m very comfortable and confident around big dogs. I’ve also pet-sat for neighbors throughout high school and college and recently fostered a Husky for three months. About: I have a Mini Australian Shepard of my own who is 3 years old, whom I trained myself. He is very well behaved. Additionally, I’ve been a dog and cat sitter for friends and family over the past 5 years. My service will include lots of walks, love, and play time with your pet. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available all day on weekends and on weekdays after 6 p.m. Although I live in an apartment, I do have access to 2 fenced dog parks across the street and I live close to Balboa park which makes for great walks!

I'm a member of PSI (Pet Sitters International) and have taken many courses including dog body language, pet sitting essentials and pet first aid. This includes: their feeding schedule, medications needed, hiding places, their behavior toward people and other animals, potty habits etc. From there I create an environment of comfort for the pet making sure they are played with, fed, walked and rested. During this time, I stay in contact with the owner and update them with notes and photos of their pet.

I have a senior dog of my own, Sammy, so I’m very comfortable with the routines, patience, and extra care that some dogs need, whether that’s slower walks, medication routines, or simply a calm and reassuring presence. I’m active, responsible, and love spending time outdoors, so I’m happy to tailor care to your dog’s needs, whether that means neighborhood walks, playtime, or relaxed companionship at home. I’ll care for your dog the way I’d want someone to care for mine: safely, lovingly, and with lots of attention to their unique personality and routine. My schedule is fairly flexible, and I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet care throughout the week. I do have a standing commitment on Monday and Wednesday mornings that takes me away for a few hours, but outside of that I have a lot of flexibility and can often accommodate a variety of schedules with advance notice. I prioritize safe, attentive, and individualized care for every dog. I take time to learn each dog’s routine, temperament, triggers, and any special instructions before providing care. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs for most of my life, and caring for them is something I truly love. I’ve also been dog sitting for family, friends, and neighbors here and there over the years, and during Covid, I would watch one of my close neighbor’s dogs for about a year. Now I’m excited to finally turn that passion into my job through Rover. My family has adopted rescue dogs from local shelters since I was 10 years old. Our first dog was Lucy, a sweet Chihuahua mix who completely stole our hearts. A few years later, we welcomed our sweet boy, Axle, into the family. Sadly, we lost both of them last March, but they’ll always have a special place in my heart. Today, I have two adorable little rascals who keep life fun! Fiona is our pit bull mix, and Rocky is our Chihuahua mix. Fiona was one of the most challenging dogs I’ve ever worked with, but with lots of patience, consistency, and love, she has come such a long way. About: I am innately an animal lover and advocate and will treat your pet as it were my own. I have been pet sitting for over a decade. I get super nervous leaving my own dog, so do everything in my power to ensure you and your pet are comfortable. From a young age, I was the kid that would come home with an injured wild animal asking my parents to help it. I grew up with a German Shepard and greyhound, and now have my own dog, who’s a pitty/boxer/cattle dog mix. I understand every dog has different needs and equipped to take care of high energy, intelligent dogs who need a lot of exercise and stimulation. I’ve taken care of small and big dogs as well as cats and bearded dragons. I’ve fostered dogs as well, so am familiar with anxious animals that need TLC and time and space to decompress. I currently have open availability from early morning through evenings during the week and weekends. I do long walks every morning and evening and keep pets on a consistent feeding schedule. I typically aim to take pets on walks 3 times a day depending on the animal needs and client’s requests. I also ensure adequate playtime with toys and activities that are engaging. I am happy to drop in as often as needed for more anxious animals.

I’ve had experience in almost all positions and expanded my skills from working with dogs boarding with us, having to administer medication, look over and follow proper feeding instructions for each pet, provide the necessary and unique care for every pet that comes through our facility, worked in the doggy daycare yard as a camp counselor, have experience with customer service with new and current clients, maintained interpersonal relations with those pet owners. When caring for animals, I always require a routine run down as well as mentioning any special needs, medications, health conditions, food sensitivities, exercise moderation, and the typical bath room breaks.
