About: I have cared for dogs and cats my entire life, including dogs of all sizes. I am experienced in giving medications, walking, feeding, and taking out for potty breaks and doing so in a loving and patient manner. As an animal lover I also like to give back to the animal community and have done so by volunteering at the animal shelter where I have learned so much. I am a former Registered Nurse so I have plenty of experience administering shots and I am currently looking into vet tech schools to pursue a new exciting career working closely with animals of all kinds. I am excited to meet you and your furry friends. I currently have 2 cats and 3 grand pups. That’s right. All 3 of my children have adorable dogs and I help care for them every week. I enjoy walking them, feeding them and playing with them. I would have a dog of my own too, but I live in a tiny apartment and my 2 cats, Simba and Floyd are my best friends. About: I believe that a happy dog in the home is essential and a precursor to a happy life overall, and I strive to bring the same attentiveness and care that I share with my own pup to any pets I have the privilege of taking care of through my services on Rover. I work from home, and my day is already built around caring for a dog. Morning walk first thing, breakfast, play, a walk around 5:30 for dinner, evening walk before bed, with attention and rest woven in between. I follow instructions exactly, keep your pet's routine intact, send photo updates, and treat your home and your dog's space the way I'd want someone to treat mine. On walks, I match the pace to the dog, calm dogs get a relaxed walk, energetic ones we stay moving, and I stay attentive to reactivity triggers and adjust accordingly.

About: I have taken care of pets for a very long time since I was about 12 years old. I guess you can say it runs in the family to love pets so whenever our family or friends needed a sitter, we had open arms! I went off to college and continued pet sitting and now my journey continues. I am currently working full time, remote so my hours are very flexible. I can always make time for my little furry friends! Schedule is flexible! I am very outdoorsy and full of adventure. I always make sure to walk the dogs while also being prepared with anything they might need. I’m also very careful and make sure all furry friends are in a safe environment.

About: I’ve basically grown up in a zoo! My family has always had animals around— multiple dogs, birds, turtles, fish, a cat, and at one point even 13 guinea pigs. Because of that, I’ve spent my whole life caring for animals and am very comfortable around pets with different personalities and needs. Dogs have always been my favorite. When I was a kid, my sisters and I even started our own little “doggy daycare” for neighborhood dogs, which was honestly one of the highlights of my childhood. Today, my family has three dogs, and I love spending time with them whenever I’m home. Since I’m now living in San Diego and my family is in Los Angeles, I don’t get to see them as often as I’d like. Rover gives me the chance to spend time with dogs, help pet owners in the community, and do something I genuinely enjoy. I understand how much pets mean to their families, and I’ll treat your dog with the same care and attention I would give my own family pets. Just graduated from USD, so I have lots of availability and free time to be with your pup pretty much every hour of the day! I live in an apartment with no pets, but plenty of pet friendly furniture! I would frequently take the dogs out on neighborhoods walks, out to the park, or even the beach depending on the dog and owner preferences! I also live less than a block away from the Humane Society, in case of an emergency!

About: With more than five years of experience pet-sitting, I have taken care of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I pride myself on being an attentive, present, and caring sitter. I love animals more than anything. My first dog was rescued the day after I was born and ever since then animals have been an important and meaningful part of my everyday life. About: I've been around dogs for most of my life and grew up in a home with dogs as part of the family (My mom had 8 dogs at the same time at one point). While I don't currently have a dog of my own, I've spent years helping friends and family care for their pets, whether that's walking them, checking in on them, or providing company while their owners are away. What sets me apart is that I genuinely love spending time with animals. I'm active, patient, and attentive, and I enjoy adapting to each dog's personality and needs. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I'm happy to provide the care that makes them feel comfortable and loved. I also have a special appreciation for large breeds! One of my favorite dogs was a Saint Bernard named Profesor, and he taught me that big dogs are often the gentlest souls! About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats in my house for as long as I can remember! I’ve helped train puppies and foster kittens that require a high level of care. I have previous experience pet sitting for multiple animals at once and I love getting to know new animals! I grew up with an English cream retriever and a Portuguese water dog who love to be outside. About: I've had dogs since I was young and have trained all of them personally. I have a bachelor's in psychology and a master's in marine science (focusing on animal behavior). I have experience dog sitting for various breeds and sizes. I'm passionate about giving dogs the best life they can have, with lots of love and positive reinforcement. I love being outside, so I will give your pet plenty of time outside to stretch their legs and get some fresh air! My soul-dog Kano passed in December so I have extra love to give to other animals now. I work mostly remotely and may have to leave for a few hours at a time once in a while, but I can generally give your pet a lot of time and attention with flexible hours. I will make sure to strictly follow any house rules and existing training goals while in the home. Safety and consistency are always a priority.

About: Veteran who is an avid rescuer of both cats and dogs. I have been rehabilitating rescued dogs for 12 years and I have had a cat my entire life. I currently volunteer at the San Diego Humane Society as part of their dog team. I specialize in dealing with timid dogs (My own dogs have been from a rescue with behavioral waivers) and helping dogs learn basic obedience procedures (sit, stay, heal, law down) while walking. My passion is helping animals feel safe. On week days, I am available after 5pm and I am available all weekend. I enjoy giving dogs the amount of exercise and stimulation needed to help alleviate stress, loneliness and anxiety. Furthermore, I am more than qualified to clean litter boxes, feed your animals and provide a safe and reliable person within your home. Now that I have returned to office full time, I am not longer unavailable for mid day walks, but I do still welcome the opportunity to walk/feed your pets in my non work hours. I have experience taking care of your animals in your home where there is minimal interruption in their daily routine, no matter how many special instructions need to be followed.
