About: Over the last 5 years, my family has fostered more than 10 dogs with 2 of our own! I have taken care of many breeds including rottweiler and chihuahua puppies as well as border collies and corgi mixes... but I am open to all breeds. I am currently a college student looking to make some money and spend time with dogs! I do not currently live with any pets as I am a college student. However, when I am at home, I spend a lot of time playing with, walking, and taking care of dogs! Being a family for foster dogs, I understand how much work it takes! I can adapt to the different rules that you might have for your dog and make sure they are taken care of too :)

About: Having grown up in a family that has always had dogs, I’m a natural dog person. Whether it’s going on walks, caring for them, or playing fetch, I love everything about being around dogs. As a current graduate student at the University of San Diego, my class schedule gives me flexibility to care for your pets throughout the week and weekend! I currently have classes and internship that take up 3 days per week for me (Sunday-Tuesday). The rest of the days of the week are open for me, which gives me a lot of availability to fit into your pet’s schedule! I have reliable transportation (car) to travel to your pet for check ins and/or walks. I also make it a priority to stick to their normal routine so that they feel comfortable in my care, as well as follow any rules that you have in place.

About: Hello and Welcome! 🐾🩵 I am a reliable animal care professional with experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, pigs, goats, and horses. I have a degree in Exotic Animal Training & Management, and am knowledgeable in animal behavior and intuitive individual care. I have skills in positive reinforcement training, animal husbandry, enrichment, deep cleaning, and administering medications. I also have experience with senior animals and those with special needs. 🫶🏼 Drop in visits include potty/ walk, water check, treats/feeding, and plant care, mail, etc. I look forward to connecting with you and meeting you & your animal family members! 🐾💛 I work out of the house in the late afternoon/ evenings. I’m able to walk and feed in the AM, walk midday and before dinner, and potty before bed. I am home most of the day, working part time shifts for up to 6 hrs. I make plenty of time for their routines, hang with them, playing, etc. During the day I might run a couple errands, go to the gym, or have occasional outings. I’m very attentive to their individual needs and comfort. I am patient with them and pay close attention to their likes, dislikes, boundaries and what makes them feel safe. I am there with them most of the time, including overnight.

About: I am able to handle pets of all ages, sizes, activity-levels and needs. I can train puppies, care for senior or disabled dogs, administer medication, and match energy levels with active dogs who need long walks or runs. I treat every pet with patience, love, and respect, just like my own :) I work from home full-time and am able to spend the full day with your furry friend. I can accommodate my schedule to your animals’ needs for feeding, exercising, and quality time. I am respectful of any home and animal I care for, always following the owner’s instructions and routines. I practice no-fear handling (as I’ve learned through volunteering at SD Humane Society). I pay close attention to each pet’s unique needs, body language, and comfort level to ensure they feel safe and happy. Whether it’s playtime, feeding, walks, or quiet cuddles, I create a calm, loving environment and treat every pet like they’re my own.

About: I have multiple years of experience walking, pet-sitting, and house-sitting dogs and cats. I grew up doing some obedience training with my own dogs, and have taken care of dogs of all ages, from the biting and energetic puppies to the slow and soulful older doggos. As a work from home professional with no animals of my own, I have a flexible schedule to take care of your pets. I am available most weekdays, and can be available for weekends if requested ahead of time. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and at home with new people and in new environments. Because of this I do my best to cater to the needs of each animal. Have a puppy with high energy? We will go on walks and play tug until they can’t keep their eyes open. Have an older cat with an attitude? No worries, I will be around to make sure they have food and water but not intrude too much. Every animal is different and I can provide a happy experience for any pet that is away from their family.

About: I’ve owned a female Rottweiler since I was 10 years old and I was responsible for training her, I taught her all the basic tricks and even taught her how to give me a fist pump. She was very tame and loved socializing with other dogs. After I moved out for college, I tended to my older sister’s two dogs, one medium sized and the other extra large. I would play fetch with them every time I visited and did some dog sitting for them as well. My mom recently got a small toy poodle which I love to play with whenever they come to visit. My experience with pet care is very diverse. I work well with all kinds of dogs and understand that they must be respected just as they respect us. Dog care specifically is important as walking or dog-sitting is important for the individual dog’s health. I love dogs! Love the fun that comes with taking care of them. Appreciate the work they put you through to take care of them :) I am currently in a gap between graduating college and getting onboarded for my new full time job and am looking to fill that time as well as get some cash flow. My schedule is primarily during the weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 11 am until 3 pm. My preferred care is dog-walking and the way I ensure safety and trust is by ensuring I can control the dog in order to keep them safe from any danger, ensuring the route I walk them is safe. I also emphasize accommodating the owners wishes when dog walking as they know their dog better and it’ll help not only the dog, but ease the owner and I as well.

About: Does it have floof, skin, or scales? I LOVE IT! I have cared for others' animals as well as my own for over two decades. I've also worked as a volunteer animal caretaker at the Jacksonville Zoo, a volunteer diver at the South Carolina Aquarium, and I am the proud go-to animal sitter for many of my friends and family when they travel. Animals I have cared for cover a wide range of breeds, species, sizes, and ages from super young to super old and from 4lbs to 124lbs (my rottweiler, Grady the Bear, who lived to be 9 years old.) I am quite comfortable administering all types of medications and am very attuned to the animal's wellbeing. When in doubt, I will always air on the side of caution and seek professional help. I am comfortable training puppies (continuing the training that you have started and which you instruct me on) and also caring for special needs animals. Besides cats and dogs, I have cared for amphibians, reptiles, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, and birds. I currently have two very chill cats that are experienced with living with dogs large and small. I live in a 2/2 condo in Mission Valley that offers a dog park up the street, an on-site potty station, walking trails on-property, and a patio with a view where my cats love to watch hummingbirds. Should your animal be kept inside, the room that will be theirs opens onto the patio and can be closed tightly or with a screen door. I also have a bathroom dedicated to animal care. I am happy to take your dog for trail runs, to the beach, to dog parks, or simply around the block! Cats are also welcome, although I must require them to be fixed. I have sat for people across the United States as well as in New Zealand and Australia. One of my hobbies is studying animal behavior in and out of the water. Safe to say, I'm just an animal lover and a completely animal geek. I feed my animals regularly and can easily accommodate your animal's schedule, as routine is important, especially for animals away from home. The most I am away from home is 3-6 hours when I go freediving / spearfishing. If your animal cannot accommodate these longer periods, I will be there while they are staying with me. While staying with me, your animal will have their own: - room - litter box - scratching post - toys - bed - food and water bowls - bath (if needed) If your animal gets along with other animals, I am more than happy to give them open range in the condo (my cats are fine with it), however they will be confined to their crate or room (whichever you prefer) should I leave the house. For dogs specifically, I offer: - trail runs - walks - dog park trips - beach trips - baths - playtime + enrichment For cats, specifically, I offer - playtime + enrichment - daily litter box cleaning - basic grooming (nails, fur, and bath if they tolerate it) - walks (rare, but I have done it!) either in a backpack or on a leash For all animals: - all the snuggles, pats, scritches, and loves I will honor whatever routine you have set for your pet, including where they sleep, whether they are allowed on furniture, diet, schedule, etc. I am happy to administer medication if needed, and I encourage you to leave your veterinary information just in case.

About: I love spending time with dogs. Fairly new here but have walked & cared for my own dog for about 2 years. Excited to see more dogs out there! I’m currently changing career paths. Taking care of pets helps give me a breath of fresh air. Mostly available mornings and early afternoon. Thank you! I am an active person who enjoys running & swimming. About: I have taken care of pets for a very long time since I was about 12 years old. I guess you can say it runs in the family to love pets so whenever our family or friends needed a sitter, we had open arms! I went off to college and continued pet sitting and now my journey continues. I am currently working full time, remote so my hours are very flexible. I can always make time for my little furry friends! Schedule is flexible! I am very outdoorsy and full of adventure. About: Reliable, experienced and compassionate care for pets. From my earliest memories, animals have been an integral part of my life. Growing up surrounded by cats, dogs, and more ,I quickly developed a deep connection with animals. My journey as a foster mom was one of the most rewarding times in my life. With each new foster dog that came into my life, I witnessed the transformative power of compassion and patience. And then came Hachi, my ninth foster and first foster fail. From the moment she entered my home, I knew she was meant to be a permanent member of our family. She's not just a pet; she is a constant source of love and joy. Alongside Hachi, I share my home with a senior pug, Ling, whose snorts and wiggles never fail to brighten my day. Despite her age, She still full of spunk and personality, a reminder to cherish every moment we have together. Outside of my furry family, I dedicate my days to a career in cardiac research and I am mom to two incredible adult humans . Away from the hustle of everyday life, you'll often find me drawn to the ocean or anythig outside. Dog walks evening and overnights most any night. I’m also available for vet visits or vet pick ups. I’m able to give meds, shots and baths. My dogs are part of the family, they sleep indoors and get better care than most. I love nothing more than spoiling them and seeing them enjoying life.
