I was able.to.dropoff some of Mimi's fave toys and her pillow which l had forgotten. Mimi looked happy in the photos of her on her pillow that they sent me and videos of her energetic "sniff fests". When l was discharged they volunteered to bring over any groceries l needed when they brought Mimi back which meant a lot. Mimi bonded with Carol and was happy to see her. About: I have a Mini Australian Shepard of my own who is 3 years old, whom I trained myself. He is very well behaved. Additionally, I’ve been a dog and cat sitter for friends and family over the past 5 years. My service will include lots of walks, love, and play time with your pet. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available all day on weekends and on weekdays after 6 p.m. Although I live in an apartment, I do have access to 2 fenced dog parks across the street and I live close to Balboa park which makes for great walks!

“May was great! My dog loved her instantly when doing the meeting session. She was wiggling and trying to rub up against her. It was my first time leaving my dog with someone. We've had her for a little over a year, but her previous owners abandoned her during their vacation. Luckily, she seemed to be just fine because she was with May. She sent us updates and didn't hesitate to send a picture or video if I asked how she was doing. They went on little adventures together. She went to the pumpkin patch and then had a Hawaiian day later on. It was great not having to worry about if she was okay. The only thing I had to worry about was if Tuesday would want to come home when we went to pick her up. It was nice feeling like my partner and I were having our own vacation as a couple, and Tuesday got her own vacation with May. The location is perfect for us. There are a ton of good walking areas that are pretty safe around where she lives. Her house is very clean and dog friendly as well. I didn't have to worry that she might get into something. She works from home which really helped since it was our first time leaving her. I'm happy to know that if we need a dog sitter, we will know where to go next time! We couldn't be happier with the whole experience. PS: her dog is out of town right now, but I think it comes back soon. She is just moving back from out of state. I was concernedTuesday would be lonely at first, but once I saw all the activities and photos; Tuesday didn't seem to mind. I am looking forward to them being able to play next time. :)”

The day before my camping trip my cat developed a pretty severe UTI and needed around the clock medication. I needed someone to help me the next day for the next 5 days and she responded fast and offered to help me! Administered all his oral medication for me while I was gone and even got him some toys when she realized he was a pretty playful cat. Considering the last minute request i didn’t expect her to have so much time to spend with him outside just administering medications but getting a google drive of my little guy cuddling with her and clearly having a great time made me relax and enjoy my trip. I've also worked as a volunteer animal caretaker at the Jacksonville Zoo, a volunteer diver at the South Carolina Aquarium, and I am the proud go-to animal sitter for many of my friends and family when they travel. Animals I have cared for cover a wide range of breeds, species, sizes, and ages from super young to super old and from 4lbs to 124lbs (my rottweiler, Grady the Bear, who lived to be 9 years old.) About: Having grown up in a family that has always had dogs, I’m a natural dog person. Whether it’s going on walks, caring for them, or playing fetch, I love everything about being around dogs. As a current graduate student at the University of San Diego, my class schedule gives me flexibility to care for your pets throughout the week and weekend! I currently have classes and internship that take up 3 days per week for me (Sunday-Tuesday). The rest of the days of the week are open for me, which gives me a lot of availability to fit into your pet’s schedule! I have reliable transportation (car) to travel to your pet for check ins and/or walks. I also make it a priority to stick to their normal routine so that they feel comfortable in my care, as well as follow any rules that you have in place.

About: I’ve owned a female Rottweiler since I was 10 years old and I was responsible for training her, I taught her all the basic tricks and even taught her how to give me a fist pump. She was very tame and loved socializing with other dogs. After I moved out for college, I tended to my older sister’s two dogs, one medium sized and the other extra large. I would play fetch with them every time I visited and did some dog sitting for them as well. My mom recently got a small toy poodle which I love to play with whenever they come to visit. My experience with pet care is very diverse. I work well with all kinds of dogs and understand that they must be respected just as they respect us. Dog care specifically is important as walking or dog-sitting is important for the individual dog’s health. I love dogs! Love the fun that comes with taking care of them. About: Does it have floof, skin, or scales? I LOVE IT! I have cared for others' animals as well as my own for over two decades. I've also worked as a volunteer animal caretaker at the Jacksonville Zoo, a volunteer diver at the South Carolina Aquarium, and I am the proud go-to animal sitter for many of my friends and family when they travel. Animals I have cared for cover a wide range of breeds, species, sizes, and ages from super young to super old and from 4lbs to 124lbs (my rottweiler, Grady the Bear, who lived to be 9 years old.) I am quite comfortable administering all types of medications and am very attuned to the animal's wellbeing. When in doubt, I will always air on the side of caution and seek professional help. I am comfortable training puppies (continuing the training that you have started and which you instruct me on) and also caring for special needs animals. While staying with me, your animal will have their own: - room - litter box - scratching post - toys - bed - food and water bowls - bath (if needed) If your animal gets along with other animals, I am more than happy to give them open range in the condo (my cats are fine with it), however they will be confined to their crate or room (whichever you prefer) should I leave the house. For dogs specifically, I offer: - trail runs - walks - dog park trips - beach trips - baths - playtime + enrichment For cats, specifically, I offer - playtime + enrichment - daily litter box cleaning - basic grooming (nails, fur, and bath if they tolerate it) - walks (rare, but I have done it!) either in a backpack or on a leash For all animals: - all the snuggles, pats, scritches, and loves I will honor whatever routine you have set for your pet, including where they sleep, whether they are allowed on furniture, diet, schedule, etc. I am happy to administer medication if needed, and I encourage you to leave your veterinary information just in case.

About: I have a Mini Australian Shepard of my own who is 3 years old, whom I trained myself. He is very well behaved. Additionally, I’ve been a dog and cat sitter for friends and family over the past 5 years. My service will include lots of walks, love, and play time with your pet. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available all day on weekends and on weekdays after 6 p.m. Although I live in an apartment, I do have access to 2 fenced dog parks across the street and I live close to Balboa park which makes for great walks!
