About: I’ve basically grown up in a zoo! My family has always had animals around— multiple dogs, birds, turtles, fish, a cat, and at one point even 13 guinea pigs. Because of that, I’ve spent my whole life caring for animals and am very comfortable around pets with different personalities and needs. Dogs have always been my favorite. When I was a kid, my sisters and I even started our own little “doggy daycare” for neighborhood dogs, which was honestly one of the highlights of my childhood. Today, my family has three dogs, and I love spending time with them whenever I’m home. Since I’m now living in San Diego and my family is in Los Angeles, I don’t get to see them as often as I’d like. Rover gives me the chance to spend time with dogs, help pet owners in the community, and do something I genuinely enjoy. I understand how much pets mean to their families, and I’ll treat your dog with the same care and attention I would give my own family pets. Just graduated from USD, so I have lots of availability and free time to be with your pup pretty much every hour of the day! I live in an apartment with no pets, but plenty of pet friendly furniture! I would frequently take the dogs out on neighborhoods walks, out to the park, or even the beach depending on the dog and owner preferences! I also live less than a block away from the Humane Society, in case of an emergency!

About: I have owned and cared for dogs for more than 35 years, including Cocker Spaniels, Bulldogs, and Jack Russells. This has given me experience with different personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I provide a calm, dependable home, am available throughout the day, and have a secure fenced yard where dogs can safely play and relax. I am home throughout the day, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have plenty of time for regular walks, playtime, feeding, bathroom breaks, attention, and quiet time. I can also follow each dog’s normal schedule to help them feel comfortable and settled. Pets in my home are cared for in a calm, secure environment with a fully fenced yard and plenty of supervision. I follow each owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, medication, and routines. Our children are experienced around dogs and understand the importance of treating them gently and respectfully. In a client’s home, I respect their space and keep their pet’s routine as consistent as possible.

I’m very careful about doors/leashes, keep things clean, and I’ll send regular photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I’m currently working part time so I have a lot of time to spend and take care of pets. It makes my life more enjoyable Safety and trust come first for me. I follow your pet’s routine closely, keep doors and gates secure, and use leash control on every walk. I keep feeding/litter areas clean, avoid unsafe foods, and send photo updates so you always know your pet is safe and comfortable.

About: I've cared for dogs of all kinds for over 15 years. I've owned both high energy Aussies and small more needy chihuahuas and shih tzus, and also have fostered multiple dogs - from an older pitbull to a stubborn chow. I am able to accommodate any special needs your dog may have. Love to go on walks, give baths, and give lots of attention! I have experience with all types of Rover care (boarding, house sitting, dog walking, etc). I work remotely, so I am available for full time care. When I have to leave the house, I am usually only gone for 1-4 hours at a time. I primarily care for Rover dogs, but my husband helps out too when needed! We are both available for meet and greets. For house sitting, I am fully available to watch over your home and pup, and my husband takes care of our dog back home. I live with my husband in a two-story townhome in Linda Vista. We have plenty of space inside, plus a couple balconies and a patio with high walls that are great for doggie sunbathing. The neighborhood is very quiet and we have an end unit away from the street. Whether at my home or yours, I am happy to match your specific rules and routines when it comes to walking schedule, getting on furniture, feeding or training routines, crating, etc. We have one other dog in our home: our chow chow, Baozer. Baozer is 1yo and 60lbs, and while he is fine with other dogs once they get used to each other, he can come on strong and intimidate other dogs, especially small ones. He does best with large, friendly dogs. We always take time for the dogs to get used to each other slowly. Baozer likes to play, if he finds a friend, but 95% of his time is spent sleeping and leaving other dogs alone. We have gates within the house and are happy to keep the dogs separate throughout the stay, if necessary. We've dogsat large alpha dogs like german shepherds with Bao around, with no issues.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 3 years old. From dogs, to hamsters, to rabbits to simple fish, I am a pet lover at heart and am comfortable with all kinds of pets, including senior pets who require medication and special diets. I am a college student home for the summer and my main job is being a lifeguard, I typically work Monday to Friday, about 6 hours a day, but am around in the mornings and evenings. I have a large unfenced yard with a staked in leash your pet can roam free with. There are currently no pets in the home, but there is plenty of space for pets to roam around the home and remain cool in the summers. This house is smoke free and has had many pets live in it throughout the years!

About: I am excited to be BFFs with your pup! 🐶 I have taken care of dogs and cats since a very young age and been around all kinds of pets! (Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, turtles, hamsters and even hermit crabs 😊) I am experienced in scheduled feedings, walks and play time. I LOVE dogs and cats of any breeds/ages :) I definitely enjoy giving an animal a calm space and keeping them mentally stimulated when they need enrichment! I am available usually 6AM-overnights weekdays, mostly on weekends! I can crate dog as needed! I can take pet out on specific schedule or as needed by client. I am willing to give pet enrichment toys or play with them or just give them snuggles! My apartment is always clean and safe, both my partner and I are attentive and careful 😊
