About: Life long dog owner until recently. I have experience fostering dogs of all ages. Experience with untrained puppies and older dogs that may need additional care. I work remote so I am able to spend a lot of time with your dog and care for them the way you need. I also have a closed in yard in Pacific Beach. My place is dog proof, they will have no issues at my place. Have a spare bedroom if they prefer some quiet time in their crate. When I am in your home, I stick to what you need and leave it exactly as I find it. Making sure the dog is safe and secure when arriving and leaving.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since middle school. Although I have not owned any myself, my roommate has one who I care for frequently. My neighbors and friends have trusted me to pet sit for long weekends/weeks. I love taking dogs on walks, playing with them until they wear out, and spoiling them with all of my attention. My siblings have both gotten cats since moving out. I have fallen in love with their unique personalities and their curiosity of the different cat toys I bring for them to play with. Since moving out myself, I have fostered three dogs. It is only a matter of time before I will have a dog of my own, so in the meantime I can devout my time to taking care of others’ dogs! I work until 2pm on weekdays. I am able to feed/walk pets for up to an hour during my work hours, and anytime after 2pm during the week. I am available full time on weekends. I am attentive to schedules for food and bathroom needs. I enjoy taking dogs on walks so the more the merrier! I also have a lot of energy that makes for a fun competition to see who gets tired first from playing. One foster dog I had was afraid of stairs; we were able to overcome that fear with a lot of patience and praise.

About: Since I was young I have had my own dogs and cats and watched and walked my neighbors' pets as well. Back in July of 2022 I adopted my Labradoodle, Breck and he is the best boy! I now have the pleasure of basically having full time care of my boyfriend’s adorable Golden, Avery. They get along with all dogs, big and small, so they will make a great playmates for any of your furry friends! I currently work from home M-F. I am free during the day for drop ins and walks! I have pups of my own so I’ll already need to be out and about with them anyways :) I am able to feed and play with pets. Clean litter boxes for cats and walk the pups! And of course give them all lots of love and treats :)

“Kat has been the most influential person in our dog Val's life outside of myself and my partner. Val is a TJ rescue who had a great personality hidden behind a really timid exterior. He had severe separation anxiety so I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to go into work since he couldn't be left home alone. The first time I saw him play with other dogs was when we met Kat and her doggy sidekick Fiona. The way Kat connects with and cares for dogs goes far beyond her role. She is very considerate about which dogs she invites to join her pack during the day, and has a great pulse for interaction with other dogs in the neighborhood. Val has become a more confident dog because of the safe and welcoming energy she and Fiona provide every day, I am so thankful for them. Val quickly made great strides in daily care with Kat. Not only is he a happier dog, but we are happier owners! I cannot recommend her enough, I would give her more stars if they let me!”

I follow each owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, medication, and routines. Our children are experienced around dogs and understand the importance of treating them gently and respectfully. In a client’s home, I respect their space and keep their pet’s routine as consistent as possible.
