“Lauryn is great! She knew we had some ongoing challenges and was extremely patient with us as we made arrangements for dog boarding. She met with us for a meet and greet, sent updates and photos throughout the day, is communicative, flexible, and a highly responsible dog sitter/boarder. I can tell my dog was happy and well cared for and I would absolutely recommend her!”

“Cleo seemed to enjoy her stay! Photos and videos were sent throughout the duration of her visit and both William and his partner were very kind and easy to communicate with! :)”

“Cristina was awesome with our sweet fur baby. We had to book her at the last minute, but Cristina was very responsive and has a great setup for watching dogs and other critters. Would definitely consider using her services again!”

“Matilde was amazing! Very personable & took excellent care of my babies! She awesome with communication, updates and ensuring me that my babies were being well taken care of. I am so appreciative of her and her kindness she showed to babies!”

“River had the best stay with Caroline! She sent multiple updates and pictures letting us know how our girl was doing, which we really appreciated! We felt comfortable knowing River was safe at Caroline’s and getting the best care. Caroline even made sure to implement some of our training tactics with River so she stays on track. We will 100% be using Caroline again and highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a Rover who cares about your dog and will make sure they are comfortable :)”

About: I grew up on a hobby farm and have been around animals of all shapes and sizes. I got my B.S. in Animal Science and came back to California to work in animal welfare. I have about 5 1/2 years of professional experience. My past professional jobs in animal welfare included: vet assistant, animal control officer, animal care supervisor, and created/ran the foster department for a local shelter. I have experience in all ages of animals and will put their needs first. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to care for different needs of animals. I also have a dependable transportation. I have a fenced in back yard (all over 6 ft) that has grass. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and a great place for walks (if that is what the animal prefers). I do have three dogs ranging in sizes and ages that are respectful and can be playful if the other animal is playful. The animals wellbeing, comfort, and safety is my priority!
“Laurie was amazing!!!! It was my first time leaving my puppy with someone else and I felt very confident Jelly Bean was in good hands. She was consistently communicating with me pictures and updates that brought smiles to my face. Her house is the perfect paradise for puppers. Extra points for Laurie for handling puppy energy and antics!”

“Michelle was amazing with my 2 1/2 year old high energy, covid-puppy Brittany. He likes lots of exercise and has only been away from us a few times so I didn’t know how it would go. She loved on him like we do and he seemed at ease right away. I will definitely book with Michelle again and know my pup is safe and happy.”

“Xochitl (and husband) were amazing! I’ve used a lot of Rovers over the years, and she is at the very top of the list. From the first time we met her, it was clear that they were dog people. One of our pups is super timid and can take a while to warm up. Not this time! These two must have the magic touch, sending multiple pictures of her accepting belly rubs and giving kisses. Just as awesome: Some sitters will just send ‘proof of life’ shots showing that they are walking the dogs. But Xotchitl sent daily pictures of them in and outside of the house and interacting with them personally. Overall, Xotchitl made us feel at complete ease while on vacation - which doesn’t always happen. Can’t recommend her enough!”

About: Hi, I’m Rosa — a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom! I have years of experience caring for pups of all sizes and personalities, from high-energy huskies to independent Shiba Inus. I treat every dog like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable whether we’re out for a walk or they’re staying overnight. I’m attentive, responsible, and love keeping pet parents updated with photos and messages, so you always know your furry friend is happy and in good hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I’m already used to taking my own dogs on regular walks, so incorporating walks, playtime, and cuddles with other pups fits seamlessly into my schedule. Whether pets are staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. At my home, dogs enjoy a clean, cozy environment with plenty of playtime, walks, and snuggles. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible — from feeding schedules to preferred walking routes — so they feel right at home. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space and pets with the same respect and attention I give my own. I make sure water bowls are always full, give them lots of love and attention, and send regular updates so you can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands.
About: I have been a dog lover since before I could walk. As a kid I was obsessed with dogs and I grew up with a cavalier King Charles spaniel who was our everything. Now, I have my own furchild, my golden retriever Peaches. She is my whole world. I love taking care of dogs of all shapes and sizes and for years having been helping my friends out with their floofers. When I’m with dogs I bring calm but playful energy and am down for lots of adventure. I spend most days outside and love taking pups on beach walks or chill neighborhood strolls. I’m a great communicator, I am flexible, and always send great photo updates so you know your dog is living their best life. I’m in between jobs right now, which gives me a super flexible schedule and plenty of time for pet care. I love being outdoors and active, so daily walks, playtime, and adventures with dogs fit perfectly into my current schedule. I have a fenced yard and a sweet golden retriever who loves company! Dogs are always always supervised, given plenty of playtime, and have cozy spaces to rest. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they’re safe, happy, and comfortable the whole time.
“Meagan and her husband Mike are the pinnical of amazing Frenchie godparents! Before formally booking, Layla (Frenchie) and I met at there home and Layla was instantly in love! As former dog and Frenchie owners, they understood all of Layla‘s quirks and excitement, and we’re so kind to her. Their house is well air-conditioned, comfortable, and very clean. We had such peace of mind while she was with them during our honeymoon in another country. We will definitely be bringing Layla back to their home again! Thank you so much Mike and Megan :-)”

“Apple was amazing! I felt very comfortable leaving my dog under her care, she sent me updates continually so I never had to worry about how my pet was doing. She was super communicative and friendly, I will definitely be coming back to her for any future care needs!”

“Our booking with Rachelle was the easiest process we’ve had out of all of our past dog sitting bookings on Rover over the last several years. Her communication was timely & friendly, she was flexible on timing, she has an house with a backyard, she’s comfortable walking large dogs, her dog was friendly and got along fine with our dogs (even though one of our dogs is older and can be a bit of a grumpy old lady sometimes), and she was great with our two Great Danes. Plus, our “puppy” is just over a year old and we have not yet had him fixed because the vet recommended waiting until he turns 2 years old to get him fixed — I was concerned when I first went to book a sitter and found that many of the local Rover sitters do not accept unaltered dogs. But Rachelle was fine with accepting our dogs. We would definitely book with Rachelle again.”

“Second time booking with LeeAnn! I was able to enjoy my vacation without worrying about my Zoey- she always takes such great care of her! Loved all the picture and video updates. Will book again for sure!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Taylor & Sarah. They exceed all communication expectations and it was beyond evident in the photos they sent that our dog felt super comfortable and happy with them and Mango. As a rover sitter myself, I know what goes into caring for others dogs - we are so appreciative of their level of care, and they made us feel beyond comfortable while we were away :)”

“Ruby had a great time staying with Alegra and her family! Alegra was great about providing updates and photos each day, and she has THE BEST backyard for doggos to enjoy. We look forward to using her again for all of our future trips.”

“Alex made the booking process extremely easy and was very communicative throughout, including during my dog's stay. He kept me updated and sent pictures, but most importantly, my dog loved him! I highly recommend Alex, and I would re-book with him in the future.”

“Genevieve was responsive, flexible and provided plenty of updates and awesome photos of my 2 dogs while I was away. Her home was clean, safe and had a huge yard that was perfect for our pups to play. They had such a blast hanging with Sage and Willow that upon pickup didn't seem to want to leave, haha. She even let them sleep in her room so they had full attention and care just like her dogs. Highly recommend especially if you're particular about having your dogs in a clean, safe space with plenty of room to roam, prance around and play! :)”

“Kaitlin and Verle were lovely, organized, and prepared. I was especially appreciative of their willingness and desire to care for my dog who is undergoing chemotherapy and could have exhibited several symptoms while I was away and unable to care for her myself. Highly recommended; will request their services in the future.”
