About: I have owned pets ever since I can remember! My family is a big dog family and we’ve also had a couple cats along the way! I would love to have a dog right now but at the moment I'm settling for helping others with their animals:) Please reach out! Currently I work a pretty loose schedule and am available most days to visit, let out, and/or walk your pets. For any overnight, multi-day needs, I can accommodate most requests. I have the capability and experience to care for your pets the way you would like, giving you peace of mind while you are gone.
“Kelly is Rios‘s new favorite person! She, of course, I was a great communicator and used the app to show us their walk path and send pictures, which we appreciated! Rio was always very happy to see her – even recognized her car when it pulled in the driveway it he would get super excited! Everything was great, except I was afraid that Rio would not want his mother – me! – To return and start walking him, because Kelly would take him on runs! Great for Rio, but after a heal injury, I am unable to do that for him. We may just have to hire her for a weekly run for Rio, going forward. Kelly is a wonderful person and clearly a dedicated dog walker - or runner, if need be! We would not hesitate to recommend her - or use her again, if the need arises!”

“Summer is excellent! My dog Lucy is fearful of meeting new people and Summer was extremely patient and kind during the time it took for Lucy to get comfortable with her. She’s very reliable and always communicates about any questions or concerns. I really appreciate feeling like I don’t have to worry about how things are going on the days when I’m not home.”

About: I'm an animal lover who raised my dog Maggie (a rescue Staffordshire Terrier) for 15 years, and I’ve also helped take care of my partner’s rescue cat for the last couple of years. I’ve taken care of several dogs and cats in San Diego recently through Trusted Housesitters as well. Your fur-child will be in good hands since I'm kind, calm, patient, responsible, attentive, and clean. I've found animals seem to warm up to me quickly, so I'm able to spend lots of good quality time with them. I’m currently working remotely on a part-time basis and have a flexible schedule, so I will be able to spend time with your pet at your home. I have experience caring for pets in their own homes and understand the responsibility and trust you are putting in me. I always follow my client’s instructions and respect the house rules.
About: I’ve fostered dogs and cats for as long as I can remember! I treat every animal like they’re part of my family. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them comfortable and safe - I make sure they feel loved and cared for. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your baby is happy and content while you’re gone! I work from home full-time and have a really flexible schedule, so I’m able to provide consistent attention, walks, play, and care throughout the day. I make safety and trust my top priorities. My home is pet-friendly and free from hazards, with plenty of space to play and relax. I‘ll follow any specific care needs for your fur baby when it comes to feeding, medication, and routines.
About: I’ve had the pleasure of caring for pets belonging to friends, family members, and coworkers over the years, which has given me a wide range of experience with animals, their personalities, and routines. I take pride in being someone others trust to care for their pets as if they were my own. What sets me apart is my dependable and detail-oriented approach, as well as my genuine love for animals. I make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for, whether that means sticking closely to their routine, providing extra playtime and cuddles, or maintaining a calm environment. My goal is to ensure that both pets and their owners feel confident and at ease, knowing their dog is in responsible, caring hands. I am currently working part-time (weekday nights and weekend day shifts). I am available for consistent care, Mondays through Fridays, from early mornings until mid-afternoon/evenings. I will care for pets in their home, as that is most familiar to them. I can either spend the nights if needed/preferred by the owner, or I can work in late-night and early-morning pop overs in addition to the mid-day walks and activities.
About: I grew up on a hobby farm and have been around animals of all shapes and sizes. I got my B.S. in Animal Science and came back to California to work in animal welfare. I have about 5 1/2 years of professional experience. My past professional jobs in animal welfare included: vet assistant, animal control officer, animal care supervisor, and created/ran the foster department for a local shelter. I have experience in all ages of animals and will put their needs first. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to care for different needs of animals. I also have a dependable transportation. I have a fenced in back yard (all over 6 ft) that has grass. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and a great place for walks (if that is what the animal prefers). I do have three dogs ranging in sizes and ages that are respectful and can be playful if the other animal is playful. The animals wellbeing, comfort, and safety is my priority!

Communication is important to me, so I’ll always keep you updated with photos and check-ins.
“Andre is very professional, friendly and reliable. He has an open schedule which I appreciate and is good with last minute requests. My Frankie boy loves him and gives him a good walk which he needs (I’ve had some walkers only go a few blocks or so). Would recommend :)”

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my whole life — from a spirited terrier to a sweet lab/pittie mix — and now I share my home with my corgi, who’s friendly with cats, rabbits, and dogs of all sizes. During nursing school, I walked over 200 dogs through Wag, so I’ve gotten to know every kind of pup personality out there! I’m now a nurse working part-time, and on my days off I stay home studying for grad school — which means plenty of time for cuddles, playtime, and walks. I live in a large apartment with a spacious backyard and a big living room filled with cozy dog beds and toys. I usually take the dogs for 1–2 walks a day and make sure they get lots of attention, stimulation, and love. I truly treat my dog like family, and I’ll care for yours the same way. Can’t wait to meet your fur baby! 🐶💛 I have a fenced back yard and front yard to my cottage and have a lock on both fences . I have a separated living room to bedroom and a doggy crate if needed
About: I've grown up around animals and have been caring for pets most of my life. From feeding, walking, and playing, to giving medication and keeping routines consistent, I’ve looked after both my own pets and those of family and friends. While I’m new to Rover, I take pet care seriously and treat every animal like my own. I’m responsible, attentive, and always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and happy. Pet care fits into my weekly routine with plenty of flexibility. I’m available most weekdays and weekends, with the exception of Mondays and Wednesdays due to class. My schedule may vary slightly week to week, as I occasionally travel out of town to visit family, but I always communicate my availability in advance. I’m committed to providing consistent, reliable care and making sure your pet’s needs come first. I offer pet care in the client’s home to help pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely when it comes to routines, feeding, exercise, and safety. I also respect the client’s home by treating it with care, maintaining cleanliness, and always being mindful of privacy and security.
About: I grew up around all types of animals. From cats and dogs to farm animals to reptiles, I love em all! I have experience with all kinds of ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments of pets, and I’m always ready to meet new pet personalities! I have been a caregiver on a similar app, “Wag!” for nearly a year now and have a 5-star rating from over 80 clients, many glowing reviews, and countless repeat clients! I am beyond prepared to provide your fur-baby with the best care possible! I work part time and attend school so my schedule can be a bit irregular, but I love to fit in pet care whenever possible! I have roomates so I typically don’t bring pets into my home, however if the owner is comfortable I’m happy to spend time in their home where their pet is comfortable!
About: My husband Ben and I recently moved to San Diego from Boston, with our 6 year old pitsky mix. He is a well trained dog who would love a play mate or just to cuddle up on the couch. I work from home so I have flexible availability to spend all day with your pup, and adhere to your schedule. I currently walk one dog on a recurring basis and volunteer at the San Diego Humane society during my free time. I work from home, with east coast hours so I am very flexible when it comes to walks/mealtimes so I can easily adhere to your schedule. I am very respectful of the rules and routine that my clients may already have in place. I am caring, patient and detail oriented and have been caring for my own dogs for the past 15 years. In Boston, I had a routine Rover client where I did walks and check ins for their adorable shih tsu 2-3 times per week.

About: Hi! I’m Abbie, a lifelong dog lover and proud pet parent to a sweet 10-year-old black Lab. I’ve been caring for dogs for years, both my own and for friends. Your dog will get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection while in my care. 🏠 My Home & Care My home is dog-friendly and full of love. I’m patient with all breeds and personalities — from energetic puppies to older dogs who just want to relax. I’ll follow your pet’s routine closely and make sure they feel comfortable and safe. 💬 Why Choose Me As a pet parent myself, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your dog with someone new. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can feel confident knowing your pup is happy and well cared for. Can’t wait to meet your four-legged friend! I work part-time as a nurse and can make my own schedule, so I only book stays or walks when I know I’ll be home and available all day. I never take pets on days I’m working — that way, your pup always has my full attention! When dogs stay with me, they’re treated like part of the family! I make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and loved — whether that means cuddles on the couch, daily walks, or beach trips for some fun in the sun. I keep their routine as close to home as possible, including feeding times, walks, and any medications. I always supervise outdoor time and make sure everyone feels relaxed and cared for.
“Cailey has been so great with my golden retriever Carl! I really feel at ease going about my day knowing he is in such good hands for his walks! Couldn’t be happier with her services and love all the update pics! Thanks Cailey!”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life, from my own pup and kitty to the many pets I’ve cared for over the years for friends, family, and neighbors. I was pre-vet in college, where I built a strong understanding of animal behavior, safe handling, and proper care, and I also spent three years working in a busy doggie daycare, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of every breed, size, and personality. Whether it’s an energetic puppy who loves constant attention, a mellow senior cat who prefers quiet companionship, or a shy rescue who needs extra patience, I know how to make each pet feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Having had both a dog and a cat of my own, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your fur babies in someone else’s care. That’s why I treat every pet like they’re part of my family, consistent routines, gentle communication, and plenty of love. From long walks, enrichment play, and medication administration to litter box upkeep and slow-blink cat bonding, I’m committed to giving each animal the individualized care they deserve. Right now, I have a very flexible schedule since I’m not currently working a full-time job, which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. I love spending my days staying active, going on walks, and caring for animals, so pet sitting and dog walking fit naturally into my daily routine. Whether it’s morning walks, midday visits, or evening check-ins, I can easily adjust my day around your pet’s needs to make sure they get consistent care, attention, and love all week long. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I always treat their space and animals with the same respect and attention I give my own. I follow all care instructions closely, from feeding routines and walk schedules to any specific training or medication needs. I make sure pets feel comfortable and secure by keeping their routine consistent and spending plenty of time playing and giving them attention. I also like to send photo and text updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and cared for. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel completely at ease while you’re away.
