I’ve been pet/ house sitting since I’ve been in high school and have done overnight stays and drop in visits. I have experience with timid and shy dogs and am good at being patient and gaining their trust. I’ve taken care of both large and small dogs as well as cats, rabbits and guinea pigs.

I got into pet sitting when I did not have a dog of my own and I love spending time with dogs. I will always give your pet my best care whether in a walk or on a visit.

Shelby is the best! She always takes great care of Sully and she is responsive and sends updates throughout the day.
Shelby was wonderful! We were gone for a week and she updated me daily on Gemma and I came back to a clean home (: 10/10 would book again!
Shelby was awesome to work with! She was able to watch Dodger on one day notice and was even willing to come over for a meet and greet a few hours after we connected. She was extremely communicative and on top of everything we asked of her. We will absolutely be using her again!
Our dog loves Shelby! She’s a little timid, but warmed up to Shelby quickly and had a good weekend with her! Shelby left our place very clean and tidy, will be rebooking!
Shelby was wonderful with our little girl! She’s still a little timid and unsure around strangers, but by the end of the drop in she was happily cuddling with her. Will be rebooking!
Shelby was awesome with my two pups while I was out of town. She house sat and took great care of Lambchop and Nellie. I came home to two happy pups and a clean home. Would love for her to house sit again!

Schedule
I’m currently a grad student and have a flexible schedule as I am just working on independent research with no scheduled classes. I have an on campus job on Mondays 10-1, Wednesday 11-2, Thursday 2-4 and Friday 12-2.

- Let me me know if your dog has any special needs or preferences or needs. I also always like to know how your dog interacts with other dogs and people. I want your dog to feel as comfortable as possible! Providing as much detail as possible about your dog’s daily routine is very helpful for me.
