I provide loving & attentive customized care for your fur babies in and around University Heights, North Park, South Park, Hillcrest, Bankers Hill, Mission Hills, Midtown, Downtown, Golden Hill, Point Loma, Ocean Beach, Mission Beach, and surrounding areas. I absolutely love to be around animals & to have the opportunity to care for them brings me so much joy. Dogs hold a special place in my heart. When I was seven years old my family adopted a Springer Spaniel puppy named Morgan that quickly became my best friend and long time companion. Learning how moving & important the connection with a dog like Morgan could be, and learning how to care for a furry being that I loved so much was one of my favorite experiences in my upbringing. Since then, Morgan has passed, but my love for animals has only grown. I very much enjoy hanging with and caring for my client's dogs - as if they were my own. I also love cats very much and have had amazing connections with my own cats in the past, so I would be overjoyed to meet and spend time with your precious purrball! I love to meet new dogs & cats, and I tend to take a slow and gentle approach so they can get used to me at their own pace. I'm grateful that most animals tend to warm up to me quickly. I like to keep a fun, playful & positive attitude while caring for my client's pets, and will adjust my vibe depending on each pet's needs and preferences. Aside from in-house pet sitting I am available for drop in visits and daily walks if you live locally to me. I adore taking pet portraits! Please see my photos for some examples of my animal photography. :) Just a note that I prefer to take care of dogs under 65 lbs at this point, thanks for understanding! I have a pup of my own, Chispita, who I co-parent with my good friend - she primarily stays with him so she will not be with me when I'm taking care of your pup(s), (or cat(s)), but she may occasionally join us for a dog walk if consent is given and if your dog gets along well with other pups. I look forward to meeting and spending some time with your dog or cat!

My main focus while caring for my client's pet(s) is their comfort & safety. I will not take your pet anywhere that was not discussed ahead of time, and I will keep a very close and discerning eye on your pet while they are in my care.

So happy we found Kaitie! She completely exceeded our expectations. She sent the most amazing photos throughout the stay and kept communication open the whole time — it made being away so much easier knowing my guy was in good hands. When I came home, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly had the time of his life. The house was clean and tidy. We'll absolutely be booking her again!
Kaitie stayed with our pets for 6 days and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. she was communicative, sent beautiful photos and followed the detailed directions I left for feeding and caring for our young dog. I would absolutely book Kaitie again to care for them!
Kaitie took such great care of my two kitties!! During the meet and greet I could tell they already liked her and were warming up to her, even with my more cautious kitty. She always sent photos from every visit, which was super nice to see that they were happy and taken care of while I was away from home. 🐱💓
This was our second time having Kaitie take care of our cats when we were out of town. Her attentiveness and communication was really appreciated! She was really helpful when we needed to bridge the gap in cat care while we were gone!

Schedule
During the week I walk a few dogs each day mid-day. Aside from that I work from home for the most part and have a flexible schedule, so while I'm with your pet, their happiness & comfort will be the main focus.
