About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 7 years old—not only my own, but also those of family members, friends, and coworkers. Before moving away for college, I had both a Yorkie and a Pit Bull—two breeds that couldn’t be more different. Through consistency, patience, and positive training, I was able to teach them good habits and routines to the point where I felt confident leaving them in the care of my younger sibling. To me, pets are so much more than just animals—they’re family. They provide us with unconditional love, comfort, and companionship, and I believe they deserve that same love and care in return. That’s why I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. They deserve more than just a filled food bowl or a quick potty break—they deserve playtime, affection, belly rubs, attention, and someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with them. I’m currently working part time, 8-12 hours a week and my schedule is very flexible. I’m both an early bird and night owl and fit an early walk and night walk every day. Additionally, especially because it’s summer I have nothing in between work and if I did I’m always willing to fit any plans accordingly to your pets needs. I believe that caring for someone’s home is just as important as caring for their pet. I always treat my clients’ homes the way I would hope someone would treat mine—with respect, honesty, and care. I understand that pets can have accidents, especially when they’re adjusting to a new person or their family is away. If that happens, I have no problem cleaning up after them and making sure everything is left clean and comfortable. If I’m staying in your home, I’ll be respectful of your space and your routines. I’ll communicate with you beforehand to understand your preferences—whether that’s wearing shoes inside, using certain areas of the home, preparing meals, or anything else that’s important to you. I’ll always clean up after myself and leave your home in the same condition I found it, if not better. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your home and your furry family member are being treated with the same care and respect I would expect for my own.

About: Growing up around difficult pets which required numerous hours of attention and care, as well as through my work experience at veterinary clinics, I am able to understand and adapt myself to the lifestyle of the animals, working around their difficulties and allowing them to thrive. As a current student at UCSD who is studying biology as a precursor for obtaining a doctorate of veterinary medicine, pet care is something I find highly valuable to my experience, which can be done in between classes, as well as on weekends when I have more free time. When caring for dogs and cats, I allow them to roam freely around the living areas of the house, constantly keeping an eye on them and giving them my undivided attention. There is nothing short of what I wouldn’t do for these animals.

I have two adorable dogs one of which has digestive issues so I have experience working around dietary and lifestyle challenges. About: I've grown up with, raised and taken care of dogs of all sizes, temperaments and ages (from puppies to senior dogs). Some with disabilities, health issues and even certain behavioral issues. In the past three years I have had my own cats, two of which I raised since they were only a few months old. I've also worked as a professional dog bather! I'm extremely patient and understand every animal has their own personalities and boundaries. I have morning classes Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. After that and all other days of the week I am fully available. When caring for an animal, I always prioritize their needs. Going to check on them after school, walking them, feeding them and in general keeping their schedule consistent. After taking care of them and ensuring their needs have been met do I then go home, run errands, etc. I always plan my day around the routine of the animal I am caring for, to ensure no meal, medication or walk is missed. (I do the same with my own cat!) When I care for other's animals in their home, I give the pet time to acclimate to me presence. I understand that I am entering their space and that might cause them to be extra hesitant. I watch their reaction to my presence, slowly introducing contact or proximity depending on their body language and comfortability. I always abide by the routine and house rules the pet owner lays out, as well as using common sense to not disrespect a home that is not mine. And over all, I adjust to the boundaries of the animal and know that no two will behave or react to things in the same way.
