About: I have always had cats growing up and have had a frenchie. I've taken care of all types of dogs and have nursed baby kittens and have a senior cat of my own that gets along with anyone (including dogs)! I have a lot of free time over the weekend and a flexible work schedule that allows me to wfh during the week to provide the best care to your fur baby in case you have to go out of town :) I have many toys (mostly for cats), but have had a dog before so I have a crate if needed and always happy to take a walk or hang out with any fur baby
“This was our first time working with Mari and she was absolutely fantastic. Came for a meet and greet ahead of time to meet our cat which was great for making sure we were all set. Great communication throughout, sending lovely updates and photos. We could tell that our kitty was in great hands and that Mari gave her lots attention and good care. We won't hesitate to work with Mari again in the future.”

“Acelynn did such a wonderful job taking care of Remy! She texted me detailed updates and sent the cutest pics. :) I can be a very anxious pet parent but Acelynn’s attentive care ensured that I never had to worry. Remy and I are both happy campers!”

“Ella is so sweet and my boys seem to like her already. They are sometimes difficult cats so I appreciate her willingness to accept this task of being their cat sitter/friend.”

“Audrey was so good with our two cats! We had to book very last-minute and Audrey was very responsive and communicative. We did a meet and greet to show the cats' routines (including Piper's daily medication needs) and Audrey met all of their needs and quirks and play-styles. We got adorable photos every day and a text recap. Overall we are very thankful for Audrey's expert care with our cats and willingness to help us last-minute. I'm sure our angels will miss her even after just a few days”

About: I grew up around farm and domesticated animals and have always have held a passion for learning about and taking care of animals. I have had my current dog with me since she was 12 weeks old, she is 13 going on 4 years old. I currently am working for myself at home. Therefore, I have open availability, in order to be able to cater to your pet sitting needs. I live near Dolan park and daily I take my dog on nice walks around the park and neighborhood. I have a comfortable home with 1 small dog.
About: I’ve been caring for pets for about 3 years and currently have my own cat. Through daily care, I’ve become very familiar with feeding routines, cleaning, playtime, and understanding animals’ behavior. I’m patient, calm, and responsible, and I’m comfortable caring for pets in their own homes. I follow instructions carefully and always make sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits easily into my routine. I have a flexible schedule and can make time for drop in visits, walks, and house sitting during weekdays and weekends. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine and needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow instructions carefully and respect their space. I make sure doors and windows are secure, food and litter areas are clean, and pets are safe and comfortable at all times. I also provide updates if needed.
“Nick took amazing care of my grumpy, feral 6-year old cat! He stopped by and earned her trust, taking plenty of time to play with her, or just to be close by so she knew she wasn't alone. Nick asked great questions to ensure he was meeting all of her needs. He sent plenty of pictures and updates throughout. I would absolutely recommend Nick for drop-in visits!”

About: I genuinely love spending time with dogs and treat each one like family. I’m calm, reliable, and always make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work from home three days a week and am free most weekends, so I have plenty of time and flexibility. I'm also active and really enjoy spending time outside, so daily walks and playtime are something I look forward to just as much as the pets do. In my home, I create a safe, comfortable, and calm environment where pets feel at ease. I follow their routines closely, provide plenty of attention, and ensure they get enough play, walks, and rest. In my clients’ homes, I respect their space and their pet’s routines. I follow all care instructions carefully - feeding, walks, medication, and playtime so their pet feels secure and loved, even while their owner is away.
“Kayla is great communicator, follows the instructions and Lilo enjoys her time with her. She is flexible and committed to make sure my puppy be comfortable with her and have fun in their sessions. I would recommend her.”

“Alexsandra is the best sitter I ever had. She really loves and cares about Kui. Not just feeding her. She always gives us cute little gift and send us a lot of updates and photos.”

About: There’s never been a time in my life without a dog by my side—from a loyal German Shepherd growing up, to a hyperactive black Lab, and now a foster-failure Foxhound who’s claimed my heart (and my couch). I love doing everything with pups: long walks, “sniffaries” (a.k.a. sniffing safaris) in the park, and marathon cuddle sessions under blankets. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, whether walking or boarding friends’ pups, and I pride myself on keeping tails wagging, paws happy, and occasionally sneaking in a few extra treats. As a dog mom myself, I know how much peace of mind a cute photo or quick update can bring when you’re away from your loved one. That’s why, in addition to prioritizing your pup’s care and comfort, I make sure to communicate regularly with updates, photos, and little moments that’ll make you smile. Basically, if it’s fun for your dog (and reassuring for you), I’m in! I start my day with a coffee and a 40–60 minute walk around the nearby park, so your pup will get their morning energy out (and a little people-watching too). I work remotely, so they’ll never be left alone. Around lunchtime, I sneak in another 30-minute stroll, and I always wrap up the day with a more adventurous evening walk or run. On weekends, I make it a point to take my dog to a dog park or beach—Fiesta Island has been our go-to lately for some off-leash fun! Your pup will have plenty of company—my own dog is friendly and loves making new friends! My apartment is on the second floor, which minimizes escape risks, and I have a sunny balcony with a comfy couch for lounging. We can also create a quiet, safe space in the bedroom if your dog needs a little separation. I supervise play, follow routines you’re comfortable with, and make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and loved while in my care.
“Took time out of her life on Thanksgiving to ensure my senior dog was given her medication exactly on time. She was great with my dog, and left a detailed note + picture for her stay, which was much appreciated!”

About: I’ve taken care of big and small dogs from a young age. Multiple breeds as well, including chihuahuas, Russel terriers, pugs, frenchies, labs, pitties, and husky types. I can do walks, feeding, playing, baths, and any other general dog care responbilities. I work part time at a local toy store, so we’ve reached a slow part of the year. I’m also a student, but my schedule is pretty open. I can be available most mornings, afternoons, and nights. As well as overnights. I also have my own transportation, so I can be anywhere at anytime. I can make sure your pets stay in their designated areas (if there are designated pet areas). Can easily get them crated during day and/or night. I will do whatever necessary to make sure your pet is following its usual routine, even in your absence.
“Our dog Latte absolutely luvs it when Ava's able to come by and spend time with him. Ava's prompt, communicative, great with dogs, and most importantly, cares for our own dog when we're not at home. She's awesome!!! Thanks again Ava!!!”

“Highly Tina recommend. Tina took great care of our cat Cookie while out of town. Spent time with her and se t degailed updates and great pictures! She also cutely arrange our son toys and stuffed toys that we left scattered in our living room 😍🥰.”
About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember; big and small, shy and silly! I’ve helped raise several pups from puppyhood to their golden years, and I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality. Whether it’s a high-energy walk, a game of fetch, or a cozy cuddle session, I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and entertained while you're away. I’m reliable, patient, and always up for outdoor adventures or sticking to your pup’s favorite routine. **please note I am not accepting boarding/sitting bookings for senior dogs that need extra care with potty breaks and using the restroom or dogs that are incontinent. WFH with a flexible schedule. I even take myself on walks several times a day! Lots of time for playing, cuddling, and paying attention to your fur baby. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and needs. I enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and routine. In a client’s home, I respect your space and keep things clean and consistent, aiming to make your pet feel secure in their familiar environment. If I’m hosting, I provide a calm, cozy, and pet-friendly space where your furry friend is treated like family. I always communicate clearly with pet parents and send regular updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in loving hands. Bonus: I have a patio where your fur baby can sunbathe or people watch!
“Celine was so great with our dog Charlie! She was very communicative and friendly! Our dog loved her. We felt comfortable leaving Charlie at home knowing Celine would be checking on him for a drop in visit. We would love to use her services again!”

“Chaminie was prompt, friendly and reliable! She was able to come to the house my friends and I had rented multiple times throughout the day. She was kind and caring toward my puppy, kimchi and was fully capable of taking care of my three-month-old golden doodle. When I returned home after being away for the day, my puppy was happy and healthy. Chaminie took care of feeding her lunch, giving her water to drink, taking her out to go to go potty, and rewarding her with treats. I had a great experience with Chaminie and highly recommend her for any pet sitting needs!”

University City pet parents share their Rover experiences
Lorena was a wonderful sitter for my shy cat, Rylie. She shared many sweet photos as Rylie gradually came out of her shell, which was so reassuring. It was a great comfort knowing Lorena was there to keep Rylie company and take such good care of my home as well.

Ashley did a fantastic job! It was my first time using Rover, and she made the entire process incredibly easy. She was able to meet with us on short notice, sent updates and photos at every visit, and handled our cats’ separate medications without any issues. She was also very responsive throughout. I highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a trustworthy and wonderful pet sitter!

Audrey is absolutely amazing! She took such good care of our cat, making sure that Suki got as many pets and as much playtime as she wanted! Audrey went above and beyond- we really appreciate all the time she spent making sure Suki was comfortable while we were away. She was also incredibly responsive and communicative, and took some amazing and hilarious photos. Thank you so much Audrey!

Alex was an absolute wonderful cat sitter, I cannot emphasize how grateful I am for how well she took care of my two cats! One of them is incredibly shy, but from the day she started watching them, the shy one very quickly came around and would wait for her at the door. She was incredibly communicative and professional, and was willing to go above and beyond to make sure my pets and apartment were taken care of. Thank you Alex so much for watching my kitties! They will definitely be seeing you again next time!

Highly recommend Sarah. I trust her watching my precious fur babies, both my cat and dog. She sends lots of pictures and is great with communication. I can tell my pets are happy and comfortable in her care. I have used many sitters on this site. And Sarah by far is the best.

Anna is an amazing pet sitter. My cat is very anxious and absolutely hates anyone besides me and my husband. Anytime someone comes in the house she freaks out. But Anna became the exception to this: my girl warmed up to her during the meet and greet. It was so great to see and finally gave me peace of mind when I was leaving. Anna watched her for weeks and we rebooked this last time we traveled for thanksgiving. I am no longer nervous about traveling bc I know my girl is in the best of hands with Anna. She sends pics and keeps me updated and I totally trust her with our cat in our home. If you’re a crazy pet parent like myself and love your baby but can’t trust anyone, i can assure that Anna will put your mind at ease and help w those fears or anxiety about leaving your pet family behind. We will definitely continue rebooking!
