About: I have owned three dogs, in which two are yorkies and one is a miniature schnauzer, in the past four years and have taken great care of them. I have been sitting dogs through Rover for over a year now. I currently study at UC San Diego, and I have plenty of time to play, go on walks and provide care for your furry friends. About: I've taken care of everything from feral dogs and cats to the most pampered pets for over a decade now. I love animals and will take great care of yours! Most days I have mid-morning and evening obligations, so I can swing by while I’m out, or make an adventure of stopping by. There are occasionally days that I must be at work all day, but I know of those well in advance and will not take bookings that are not compatible. I try to get a feel for the animals temperament early on, and interact with them accordingly. I usually let the dog lead what we are doing unless I know that they either need hyping up to get their energy out or someone to look out for their limits. In a client’s home, I provide the same level of care by following your instructions carefully, ensuring your pet gets potty breaks, fresh water and meals, exercise, medication if needed, and lots of affection and enrichment. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m able to provide multiple visits per day if needed. I can offer potty breaks, feeding and fresh water, walks and exercise, medication administration, post-surgery support, basic grooming (including brushing and teeth brushing upon request), and plenty of playtime and mental stimulation.
About: I've grown up with, raised and taken care of dogs of all sizes, temperaments and ages (from puppies to senior dogs). Some with disabilities, health issues and even certain behavioral issues. In the past three years I have had my own cats, two of which I raised since they were only a few months old. I've also worked as a professional dog bather! I'm extremely patient and understand every animal has their own personalities and boundaries. I have morning classes Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. After that and all other days of the week I am fully available. When caring for an animal, I always prioritize their needs. Going to check on them after school, walking them, feeding them and in general keeping their schedule consistent. After taking care of them and ensuring their needs have been met do I then go home, run errands, etc. I always plan my day around the routine of the animal I am caring for, to ensure no meal, medication or walk is missed. (I do the same with my own cat!) When I care for other's animals in their home, I give the pet time to acclimate to me presence. I understand that I am entering their space and that might cause them to be extra hesitant. I watch their reaction to my presence, slowly introducing contact or proximity depending on their body language and comfortability. I always abide by the routine and house rules the pet owner lays out, as well as using common sense to not disrespect a home that is not mine. And over all, I adjust to the boundaries of the animal and know that no two will behave or react to things in the same way.

About: Growing up, I’ve learned to love dogs and treat them as family. They may only be in your life for periods of time but to them, you are their whole life, make it count! Dog sitting will be my only part time job, it will not be any hassle considering I love to be around dogs all the time! About: I’ve had all types of animals since I was little. I’ve had a lot of practice with all ages and breads. Helping my roommates, neighbors, friends and family keep their pets happy with love during the day! I’m currently working as a server on most days. But I have plenty of time to play and meet your pups or cats needs. About: Ive had dogs all my life and recently lost my girl so am looking to fill my home with some animals to love. About: Growing up around difficult pets which required numerous hours of attention and care, as well as through my work experience at veterinary clinics, I am able to understand and adapt myself to the lifestyle of the animals, working around their difficulties and allowing them to thrive. My schedule is flexible so I am open to working with you on a schedule that is best for your dog. My top priority when watching dogs is their safety. I will not leave the dogs unattended while playing (alone or with others). If there is not a fenced in yard, the dogs will only go outside on a leash. Dogs will be fed separately if they are not familiar with each other (exception being if there are 2 dogs in the family and they regularly eat together). You can also always count on your dog being safe with daily updates and pictures while they are in my care.
