About: New to Rover and excited to get started! I recently graduated college and am spending the summer in San Diego before starting my full-time job this fall, and I can’t think of a better way to spend it than getting outside with dogs. I grew up with pups and have experience caring for breeds of all sizes, ages, and personalities, from Yorkies to Australian Shepherds. My friends know that every walk takes a little longer because I stop to admire every dog we pass, and my camera roll is full of photos of pups I hope to call my own someday. Communication is very important to me, so you can always count on regular photo updates and prompt responses. I’ll follow your dog’s routine closely to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! My schedule is very flexible, so I can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening walks or drop-in visits throughout the week. I’ll do my best to work around your routine and provide dependable care whenever you need it. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog. I’ll treat your pet with the same care and attention I’d want for my own, while keeping you updated every step of the way.
About: I have been around dogs since I was 3 years old. I have 2 rescue dogs and have experience fostering multiple puppies at a time. I also have experience caring for other animals such as horses and genuine pigs. I walk and feed my dogs daily. They are high energy and require two walks everyday. For this reason, I have also learned how to train dogs. I have a very large yard and two other friendly dogs to keep yours company. Walks are a big part of my daily dog care routine so your dog would be sure to receive a lot of exercise. Additionally, I am very flexible with care and happy to crate your dog if needed. There are many dog parks in the area that are easily accessible as well.
“Lindsay was amazing! I’m a first time user of Rover and just moved to SD. I was a bit nervous for this first visit but Lindsay made sure to answer all my questions, actively communicated, and really made me feel at ease with the first home visit. She was patient with my dog who is having some mild adjustment issues to his new environment. I will definitely be reaching out to her again!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently care for my two dogs daily. I’m very familiar with structured routines, I’m used to long walks — sometimes up to two hours — including playtime and rest breaks as needed, always adapting to the dog’s energy level. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, always adapting to their specific needs. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every dog as if they were my own, prioritizing safety and lots of affection. I currently work online and part-time, so I would have plenty of time to care for your dog, giving him attention, playtime, and exercise. At home, we usually go to bed early because we have a dog who wakes up very early and starts his day with his routine of going out to relieve himself. I have two friendly dogs who could keep your dog company. I'm also very close to the bay where I usually go with my dogs. I typically take a long walk in the mornings to Fiesta or around the area, depending on how my day is going. And I have several spaces in the house where your dog can rest peacefully after walks.
About: Growing up in Texas, I was lucky enough to always be surrounded by pets. I’ve had Dogs, Cats, Goats, Ducks, Chickens and a Bearded Dragon! You can ensure that I have well rounded experience with pets and love them all! Because being prior active duty means lots of last minute trips/emergencies, I have lots of experience caring for other’s beloved pets. I have been caring for pets for 8 years on/off and have 3 of my own! I’m currently off school for the summer and am available most days!! I’m excited to care for your fur babies! If I have a date blocked off you might need, message me to see if we can work around the time! Excited to hear from you :) I am an avid instruction follower and will do as much or as little as required! I’m comfortable with pet language, administering medicine and will not hesitate to communicate any questions or concerns.
About: I have taken care of my pets and other peoples animals my entire life. I get along great with people and animals of all kinds. I currently work for myself and have a lot of free time on my hands. I would love to take care of your pet while you are busy:) I am extremely attentive and will put 100% focus on caring for your animal and making sure they are the number one priority. And I will listen to your instructions explicitly.
About: What sets me apart as an animal caretaker is how naturally connected I’ve always felt to animals. I’m really intuitive and heart-led with them, and I think growing up around all kinds of animals shaped who I am in a big way. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, hamsters, snakes, praying mantises, and more, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities and needs. I genuinely love building trust with animals and making them feel safe, understood, and cared for. Pet caretaking fits really naturally into my daily routine because I already have a dog and structure a lot of my day around animal care, walks, attention, and consistency. I’m looking to fill my schedule out more, so adding additional caretaking responsibilities would be really easy to weave into my routine. I’m very flexible with hours and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so it feels less like work to me and more like something I naturally love doing. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I adapt my approach depending on the dog’s breed, personality, energy level, and training experience. I use different tools and techniques based on what each animal responds best to and what keeps them safest and most comfortable. The services I currently offer include walks and overnight care, and I always focus on creating a calm, reliable, and positive environment for the pets I’m caring for.
“Marta was wonderful with Murphee! She walked her and sent updates at every visit letting me know she was taken great care of her. Highly recommend her for taking care of your pets!”

“Calleigh was a life saver and watched our kitties for us when our original Rover sitter canceled on us last minute. She was so sweet to our babies and we would 100% recommend her for anyone needing a sitter.”

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. I have raised two cats from kittens over the past 5 years and have hands-on experience caring for pets with medical needs, including giving medications and insulin injections. In addition to caring for my own cats, I’ve regularly dog-sat for friends and family, helping with walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and overnight care. I treat every pet like my own and focus on making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I work full-time on a hybrid schedule, which gives me the flexibility to accommodate drop-in visits, dog walks, and house sitting. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I work in the office but maintain a flexible schedule and am available for morning, evening, and many midday visits. I am also available most weekends and am happy to work with pet parents to accommodate their pets’ routines and needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I can walk and crate dogs if needed and am experienced in following established routines. I also have experience caring for shy cats and understand the importance of patience and respecting their boundaries. I strive to create a calm, stress-free environment and will keep you updated throughout my time with your pet.

About: Promo code GEORGM69082 for 20$ off your first booking on Rover! Since I was a child, I have always loved animals and grew up with 6 pets. Having that responsibility of caring for another living being helped shaped who I am today. I have been a pet sitter for over 20 years now, and have really enjoyed every experience, as I feel I’ve learned something new every time. I currently work remote for my own startup company specializing in digital content creation. I have an entirely flexible schedule, as my own boss, and love animals of all ages. My last dog, a black labrador, Moose, passed 2 years ago, so I am looking to fill that void in my heart by pet sitting. I have worked as a firefighter for nearly 10 years and have been a trusted public servant dedicated to doing good.

Catherine was so nice and easy to communicate with! She made it feel easy to trust her and I booked her last minute cause I had a change of plans. She was understanding, and I knew I could rely on her, she sent tons of cute pics and kept it simple and easy. I didn’t worry one bit!

I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Soren and Adonis! She sent so many wonderful photos and detailed updates every visit, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She spent quality time playing with them, made sure they were well cared for, noticed and communicated a small issue with one of my fountains, and even emptied both litter drawers before I returned home. It was obvious she genuinely cared about them and took the time to get to know their personalities. My cats looked happy, relaxed, and comfortable in every update. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, attentive, and reliable pet sitter!

Emily was awesome! She was incredibly easy to work with, communicative, and flexible. Our Golden Retriever puppy, Teddy, took to her right away, and it was obvious she was great with him. She kept us updated throughout the visit, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. We will book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.

I had never used a sitting service before. A friend told me about rover.com. I thought I’d take a chance and boy did I get lucky. Jenna showed up at my door to meet my cat and myself. She was bright, professional and pleasant and….. from the Midwest! she did an amazing job. Remembered every little detail I had told her. She sent happy photos of my happy cat twice a day. I looked forward to those photos and her little review. It was this that enabled me to enjoy my visit with my elderly parents. Thank you Jenna!

My elderly kitty was very contented when I got home and obviously enjoyed his visits with Tina. she was great about medicating him, and following up on all his picky habits. She was On time with her updates and sent me fun pictures to show what he was up to. I highly recommend Tina And look forward to her assistance in the future.
Nohemi was amazing with our 3 kitties!! She was reliable, communicative, and so caring with our cats. We even have some medication that one of our cats needs and she was so thoughtful about making sure everything was done properly. Our house was also pristine after she left. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!!
