I’m a part-time school teacher, so I’m free most afternoons, evenings, and fully available on weekends and during school holidays/breaks. From June through August, while on summer break, I offer Rover care full time.

I live in a cozy townhouse without a yard, but there are plenty of safe neighborhood paths and nearby parks with grass for walks and playtime. Inside, my home is pet-friendly—my own dogs are welcome on the furniture and bed—but I will always respect and follow your rules for your pets. I keep a clean, safe environment and make sure pets are never left unsupervised for long. I’m mindful of routines (feeding, potty breaks, medications if needed) and do my best to help your pet feel right at home. Whether it’s snuggle time on the couch, playtime with toys, or a peaceful nap spot, your furry friend will feel comfortable and cared for with me.

I’m happy to care for all breeds and personalities, whether dogs or cats! For dogs, it’s helpful to know their temperament and how they get along with other pets—my two small, friendly pups will be at home during boarding. For both dogs and cats, please share details about their routines, exercise needs, feeding schedule, medications, and any special instructions or quirks. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy while in my care.
A typical day
I love staying active and will happily take your dog on runs, hikes, or long walks—whatever helps them burn off energy and feel their best. If your pup prefers a slower pace, I’m just as happy to relax, play, or keep them company at home. Living right next to several parks, I enjoy exploring new spots with the dogs, giving them fresh scenery and plenty of sniffs. And of course, no day is complete without lots of cuddles, love, and attention. 🐾

Hi, I’m Karin! I’m an animal lover through and through, proud pet parent to two spoiled pups—Ziggy (blue heeler/chihuahua mix) and Farrah (bichon frisé). I’ve fostered cats and dogs, cared for reptiles and fish (snakes have a special place in my heart!), and have years of experience looking after friends’ and family members’ pets. Growing up, my home was always full of animals—dogs, cats, fish, hermit crabs, turtles, geckos, and snakes—so caring for them is second nature. As a bonus, I love photography and will happily capture a few great shots of your pet if the moment’s right. 💖

She was super communicative, easy to reach, and always kept me in the loop about how things were going. When I came home, my place was spotless — she clearly went above and beyond.
