Loving other people’s pets
I have been volunteering at the San Diego animal shelter as a dog walker for a couple of years. I have been dogsitting for friends and neighbors for 8 years. I have been loving dogs since always. I treat dogs that I care for as they were mine. I have been living with my roommate’s dog for 4 years. He is absolutely the love of my life and I walk him and take him on fun adventures very often whether my roommate is in town or not. Volunteering at the shelter gave me experience in handling dogs that don't necessarily walk or behave perfectly.

When I care for other people’s dogs, I strictly follow the directions of the owners in terms of habits, rules, and schedules. I am very communicative, sending often pics and updates.

Schedule
I am a college professor. I work from home twice a week. The other three days, I am usually not gone for more than 5/6 consecutive hours.
