Hi! I’m Maia and for as long as I can remember I have always had a love for animals. When I was old enough, my parents allowed me to completely train/raise one of our family dogs, a Bernese mountain dog. I learned how to be responsible for another beautiful living creature at 10 years old, and many of our friends and neighbors trusted me to do the same for their fur babies. Since I can remember, I have volunteered with all sorts of animals sanctities (marine animal facilities, dog pounds, horse rehabilitation centers, etc). I truly have a love and respect for all furry friends and am looking forward to helping where I can! I adore spending time with animals and giving them the attention and care they deserve when mom or dad is away.

Maia is the best dog sitter I could have ever asked for! She does drop-in visits twice a day for my senior dog, Hollywood, and from the very start I felt completely safe and comfortable leaving him in her care. She is incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and trustworthy. She goes above and beyond every single time—giving me regular updates, offering helpful recommendations, and even letting me know if she notices anything out of the ordinary with him (which she absolutely doesn’t have to do, but I’m so grateful that she does!). It’s clear how much she truly cares, and that means the world to me. Finding someone I can trust with my dog—especially at his age—is a big deal, and I felt that comfort instantly with Maia. I could not recommend her more. I feel so lucky to have her taking care of Hollywood!

I’m currently available on weekdays from 9AM-4PM and weekends which gives me the perfect flexibility to help your pet feel safe and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s long walks, belly rubs, playtime, or just a calm, steady presence, I’m here for whatever your furry friend needs.

- I always want to make sure your pet feels as safe and comfortable as possible — so the more I know ahead of time, the better! Please share anything important about their personality, routine, medical needs, or any behavioral quirks. Does your dog get nervous around other dogs or strangers? Do they have separation anxiety, need medication, or get triggered by certain sounds? Are they crate-trained or free-roam? I’m also happy to follow specific commands or cues you use. Knowing all the little details — from favorite toys to off-limit areas — helps me create a calm, familiar experience for your pup while you’re away.
