I am comfortable with feeding, fresh water, habitat cleaning, exercise, enrichment, safe handling, and following detailed care instructions. I also studied animal behavior and animal evolution at UC San Diego and completed a supervised animal behavior project. I provide drop-in pet care in clients’ homes and can work around each pet’s established routine. My availability varies by day, but I am flexible for scheduled visits, feeding, playtime, litter box care, and check-ins. I communicate clearly with owners and confirm all visit times in advance. I care for pets in their own homes, where they can remain comfortable in a familiar environment. I carefully follow feeding, medication, entry, and household instructions, keep doors and gates secure, respect the client’s home, and provide updates after each visit. About: I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes and breeds and have been dog sitting since high school. I have one dog now and love to take her on walks, to the beach, and for puppycinos! I currently work from home M-F and am up early and stay up late! I take walks throughout the day, so might as well bring a fur friend along with! About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have always been a huge animal lover. I rescued both of my dogs while I was in college about 12 years ago. I have a 13-year-old German Shepherd mix, Shepp, who now has a variety of skin and mobility issues, so I’m very comfortable with senior dogs, giving medications, and providing a little extra patience and care when needed. I also have Luna, my 9-year-old mixed breed, who is still crazy, energetic, and keeps me on my toes! I’m very comfortable caring for and walking multiple dogs at once, so multi-pet households are no problem at all. Over the years I’ve learned plenty of tricks for giving medications, handling different personalities, and making dogs feel comfortable and safe. I’ve always loved all kinds of animals. I even had a bearded dragon, and growing up I wanted to be a zoologist. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ll treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own. I’m returning to school at San Diego Mesa College and have classes Monday through Thursday, with classes starting as early as 8 AM and ending as late as 3 PM. My schedule still gives me plenty of flexibility for dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week, especially in the early morning, afternoon, and evening, and on Fridays and weekends. I’m happy to work with you to find times that fit your pet’s normal routine. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets and your home. I always treat every pet like I would my own and take the time to learn their routine, personality, and any special instructions you have. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels, including senior dogs who may need a little extra patience or assistance. I also live in a very dog-friendly community on the ground level with an enclosed patio, which gives dogs a safe and convenient outdoor space. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and get plenty of attention.

About: Hi! My name is Viviana, and I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old. Over the years, dogs have been a constant part of my life as members of my family. During college and grad school, I volunteered every weekend at animal shelters, helping with feeding, cleaning, enrichment, and walking dogs of all sizes and personalities. I also have experience fostering shelter dogs in my home, so I’m very comfortable working with dogs who may need extra patience, structure, or confidence-building. I adopted my own dog when he was about 4 months old, and he is now 12 years old and still in great shape. Having cared for a senior dog has given me a lot of hands-on experience with aging-related needs and routines. I’m confident caring for dogs who need special attention, including post-surgery support (such as assisting with potty breaks using a brace/helper sling), giving medications, and following specific care instructions. When I’m out of the house, it’s usually for dog-related activities like walks or trips to the dog park. I have a friendly senior dog who loves the dog park and does great around other dogs and children. I also have two young children (ages 4 and 7) who are in school during the day, and in the afternoons we often go to the park together with our dog. In my home, pets are cared for in a safe and comfortable environment with plenty of attention and supervision. I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor potty breaks and playtime, and my friendly senior dog can provide companionship if your dog enjoys being around other dogs. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m able to provide multiple visits per day if needed. I can offer potty breaks, feeding and fresh water, walks and exercise, medication administration, post-surgery support, basic grooming (including brushing and teeth brushing upon request), and plenty of playtime and mental stimulation.

About: I’ve owned or fostered pets for many years and am the go-to sitter for my friends. I've taken care of a variety of dog breeds, cats, horses, even birds, reptiles, and small mammals! About: I have grown up with animals all my life. I love seeing the joy when my dogs are on adventures. Showing dogs new places and letting them sniff all the things brings me happiness. The past few years I have adopted a few bulldog and also fostered bully breeds. I have experience with potty training, giving medications (both pill and injections), and currently have a special needs bulldog with Spina Bifida (she wears a diaper and is changed every few hours). I currently am self employed running my own business so my schedule is very flexible. I can be available almost anytime. I love taking my dogs to the beach either early morning or mid afternoon. I know how important it is to keep dogs secure. I have worked very hard with my own dogs that they have good recall when off leash. When taking my dogs out on walks I make sure to be aware of my surrounding and possible danger. I have invested in the best harnesses to make sure they are secure. In my own home we have a very secure fence to ensure their safety.

About: I’m a scuba instructor currently taking a break from teaching, which means I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve! I’ve always loved animals and I believe the best care starts with paying attention to the individual and meeting them where they are. I go at your dog’s pace, if they want to stop and sniff, we stop and sniff! If they’re ready to keep moving, we keep moving. I incorporate positive-reinforcement training into our time together, reinforcing the skills and rules your dog already knows and may even help them learn something new. Every walk should be a balance between exercise and enrichment. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, sheep, pigs, goats, snakes, and birds, both my own and other people’s. I’m happy to help with walks, feeding, fresh water, grooming, and medications, and I’m comfortable caring for animals with different personalities, routines, and needs. Safety is always my top priority. Dogs are kept on leash (unless otherwise agreed) and the leash stays in my hand. I give my full attention to the animal in my care and keep an eye out for anything unusual, including changes in behavior or signs that they may not be feeling well. I’ll always let you know if I notice something strange. I’ve received formal training in animal care and behavior and completed the San Diego Humane Society’s Fear Free program. I strongly believe in calm handling, patience, positive reinforcement, and clear communication to help animals feel safe and confident. My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable and genuinely happy to see me again! We welcomed our first child in June and I’m currently staying home with her, which gives me a very flexible schedule and lots of availability. She’ll happily come along with me on walks, so your dog gets a little baby companion too! I’m available throughout the day and can often accommodate different schedules, longer walks, and last-minute bookings. Throughout pregnancy and postpartum, walking with dogs has kept me fit and sane! I’m happy to work with your routine and find a schedule that works well for both you and your pet. I'll collect and return your dog to your home. If you are out of the house, leave me detailed instructions and I'll make sure your fur baby gets their outdoor time. If your pet needs more attention, like couch (snuggle) time or grooming, we will most likely do that in your home or wherever your pet is most comfortable.
