“Jaylynne is such an amazing sitter for our two boys! She’s patient, plays with them, feeds them promptly, and even takes out their litter waste for us! We trust her completely with our precious babies, and highly recommend her for how attentive and sweet she is. She’s also been so adaptable to last-minute bookings due to our work schedules! Thanks for going the extra mile for us Jaylynne!”

About: I have lifelong experience caring for dogs, cats, and a large variety of other pets! I am comfortable with feeding, fresh water, habitat cleaning, exercise, enrichment, safe handling, and following detailed care instructions. I also studied animal behavior and animal evolution at UC San Diego and completed a supervised animal behavior project. I am patient, dependable, and attentive to changes in appetite, energy, mobility, and behavior. I treat every pet according to their individual routine, comfort level, and personality. I provide drop-in pet care in clients’ homes and can work around each pet’s established routine. My availability varies by day, but I am flexible for scheduled visits, feeding, playtime, litter box care, and check-ins. I communicate clearly with owners and confirm all visit times in advance. I care for pets in their own homes, where they can remain comfortable in a familiar environment. I carefully follow feeding, medication, entry, and household instructions, keep doors and gates secure, respect the client’s home, and provide updates after each visit. I also monitor appetite, energy, litter box use, and behavior for any noticeable changes.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes and breeds and have been dog sitting since high school. I have one dog now and love to take her on walks, to the beach, and for puppycinos! I currently work from home M-F and am up early and stay up late! I take walks throughout the day, so might as well bring a fur friend along with! I have one cat and one dog who get along well with each other. Both of my pets are very calm and my dog loves other dogs!
“We were able to use Cara to help with our dogs medications last minute and she was phenomenal to work with ! She was on time, communicative and so sweet to our bud! Thanks Cara!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have always been a huge animal lover. I rescued both of my dogs while I was in college about 12 years ago. I have a 13-year-old German Shepherd mix, Shepp, who now has a variety of skin and mobility issues, so I’m very comfortable with senior dogs, giving medications, and providing a little extra patience and care when needed. I also have Luna, my 9-year-old mixed breed, who is still crazy, energetic, and keeps me on my toes! I’m very comfortable caring for and walking multiple dogs at once, so multi-pet households are no problem at all. Over the years I’ve learned plenty of tricks for giving medications, handling different personalities, and making dogs feel comfortable and safe. I’ve always loved all kinds of animals. I even had a bearded dragon, and growing up I wanted to be a zoologist. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ll treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own. I’m returning to school at San Diego Mesa College and have classes Monday through Thursday, with classes starting as early as 8 AM and ending as late as 3 PM. My schedule still gives me plenty of flexibility for dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week, especially in the early morning, afternoon, and evening, and on Fridays and weekends. I’m happy to work with you to find times that fit your pet’s normal routine. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets and your home. I always treat every pet like I would my own and take the time to learn their routine, personality, and any special instructions you have. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels, including senior dogs who may need a little extra patience or assistance. I also live in a very dog-friendly community on the ground level with an enclosed patio, which gives dogs a safe and convenient outdoor space. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and get plenty of attention.
“Hazel was absolutely wonderful with Marcy. She generously made time for a thorough meet & greet beforehand and was incredibly attentive to all of Marcy’s special needs and quirks. It was clear that she listened carefully and put real thought into making Marcy feel comfortable and safe. She also went above and beyond during the visit, including bringing a bag for Marcy’s own treats and handling her dog reactivity calmly and skillfully on their walk. Her communication was exceptional - she left a very detailed, thoughtful update with plenty of photos, which gave me complete peace of mind. Marcy clearly felt comfortable with her, and I would happily book Hazel again. Highly recommend!”

“Brent and his wife are seriously amazing. They were beyond kind, sent me many pictures, brought my cats a snack and a toy, and were very descriptive on how my cats were doing. My cats loved them. Leaving pets is very hard, but I was very comfortable leaving them in Brent’s hands.”

“Krystal was wonderful! So kind and responsible, she took fantastic care of my cat, who needs special care and medication. Krystal clearly has experience with animals and knew exactly how to approach my shy kitty so that my cat immediately loved her! She also sent pictures and regular updates of her visits. I would definitely book her again :)”

About: Hi! My name is Viviana, and I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old. Over the years, dogs have been a constant part of my life as members of my family. During college and grad school, I volunteered every weekend at animal shelters, helping with feeding, cleaning, enrichment, and walking dogs of all sizes and personalities. I also have experience fostering shelter dogs in my home, so I’m very comfortable working with dogs who may need extra patience, structure, or confidence-building. I adopted my own dog when he was about 4 months old, and he is now 12 years old and still in great shape. Having cared for a senior dog has given me a lot of hands-on experience with aging-related needs and routines. I’m confident caring for dogs who need special attention, including post-surgery support (such as assisting with potty breaks using a brace/helper sling), giving medications, and following specific care instructions. I also provide basic grooming care like brushing teeth and coat brushing if requested. One of my favorite hobbies is teaching dogs new skills! I enjoy everything from basic obedience (sit, down, stay, leash manners) to fun and advanced tricks like jumping rope, retrieving items, and even working with Augmentative and Interspecies Communication (AIC), using communication buttons to help dogs express needs and preferences. Whether your dog needs a calm companion, structured routine, playtime, training enrichment, or gentle senior care, I’ll treat them like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work fully remotely, and my husband also has a flexible schedule. We are home most of the day, so dogs are rarely left alone and can get plenty of attention, supervision, and potty breaks throughout the day. When I’m out of the house, it’s usually for dog-related activities like walks or trips to the dog park. I have a friendly senior dog who loves the dog park and does great around other dogs and children. I also have two young children (ages 4 and 7) who are in school during the day, and in the afternoons we often go to the park together with our dog. In my home, pets are cared for in a safe and comfortable environment with plenty of attention and supervision. I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor potty breaks and playtime, and my friendly senior dog can provide companionship if your dog enjoys being around other dogs. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. If requested, I can also crate your dog to match your home routine or for added comfort and safety. In a client’s home, I provide the same level of care by following your instructions carefully, ensuring your pet gets potty breaks, fresh water and meals, exercise, medication if needed, and lots of affection and enrichment. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m able to provide multiple visits per day if needed. I can offer potty breaks, feeding and fresh water, walks and exercise, medication administration, post-surgery support, basic grooming (including brushing and teeth brushing upon request), and plenty of playtime and mental stimulation.
About: I’ve owned or fostered pets for many years and am the go-to sitter for my friends. I've taken care of a variety of dog breeds, cats, horses, even birds, reptiles, and small mammals! I have experience administering oral medication, caring for special needs dogs, and basic obedience/potty training with an emphasis on positive-reinforcement. I work 7am to 3pm from home, so it's easy for me to step away to care for your pet, whether that's a simple pet or a longer walk. Weekends and evenings are occasionally available as well. I work fully remotely, so your pet gets more attention. I can give plenty of bathroom or playtime breaks. I won't be out longer than ~5 hours at a time unless we discuss ahead of time. I'll respect your rules and provide as many updates/photos that you want. I'll always treat your pet like my own.
About: I have grown up with animals all my life. I love seeing the joy when my dogs are on adventures. Showing dogs new places and letting them sniff all the things brings me happiness. The past few years I have adopted a few bulldog and also fostered bully breeds. I have experience with potty training, giving medications (both pill and injections), and currently have a special needs bulldog with Spina Bifida (she wears a diaper and is changed every few hours). I currently am self employed running my own business so my schedule is very flexible. I can be available almost anytime. I love taking my dogs to the beach either early morning or mid afternoon. I know how important it is to keep dogs secure. I have worked very hard with my own dogs that they have good recall when off leash. When taking my dogs out on walks I make sure to be aware of my surrounding and possible danger. I have invested in the best harnesses to make sure they are secure. In my own home we have a very secure fence to ensure their safety.
About: I’m a scuba instructor currently taking a break from teaching, which means I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve! I’ve always loved animals and I believe the best care starts with paying attention to the individual and meeting them where they are. I go at your dog’s pace, if they want to stop and sniff, we stop and sniff! If they’re ready to keep moving, we keep moving. I incorporate positive-reinforcement training into our time together, reinforcing the skills and rules your dog already knows and may even help them learn something new. Every walk should be a balance between exercise and enrichment. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, sheep, pigs, goats, snakes, and birds, both my own and other people’s. I’m happy to help with walks, feeding, fresh water, grooming, and medications, and I’m comfortable caring for animals with different personalities, routines, and needs. Safety is always my top priority. Dogs are kept on leash (unless otherwise agreed) and the leash stays in my hand. I give my full attention to the animal in my care and keep an eye out for anything unusual, including changes in behavior or signs that they may not be feeling well. I’ll always let you know if I notice something strange. I’ve received formal training in animal care and behavior and completed the San Diego Humane Society’s Fear Free program. I strongly believe in calm handling, patience, positive reinforcement, and clear communication to help animals feel safe and confident. My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable and genuinely happy to see me again! We welcomed our first child in June and I’m currently staying home with her, which gives me a very flexible schedule and lots of availability. She’ll happily come along with me on walks, so your dog gets a little baby companion too! I’m available throughout the day and can often accommodate different schedules, longer walks, and last-minute bookings. Throughout pregnancy and postpartum, walking with dogs has kept me fit and sane! I’m happy to work with your routine and find a schedule that works well for both you and your pet. I'll collect and return your dog to your home. If you are out of the house, leave me detailed instructions and I'll make sure your fur baby gets their outdoor time. If your pet needs more attention, like couch (snuggle) time or grooming, we will most likely do that in your home or wherever your pet is most comfortable.

Julie was great! She came for a one-hour visit with Rex and was right on time. She left really thorough updates and sent lots of pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear Rex was well cared for and had a great time with her. We would absolutely book Julie again and highly recommend her!

Patris watched our babies for a second time & we’re so lucky to have her around! She’s always on top of everything & our cats are clearly comfortable with her & love getting some snuggles while we’re out of town. Appreciate how reliable she is and flexible for when we’re traveling!

5-Star - Absolutely. Jor-el went above and beyond and left our place better than he found it. We have temperamental doggies that have some bowel issues. I had left my last few pee pads on the carpet with a few accidents on them. After five or six days of challenging walks and feedings, we arrived to find three sparkling new pee pads that Jor-el must have bought to make our return trip that much better. I'm so glad everything went well, because our doggies are rescues with issues. Thanks!!!

Julia was quick to respond and super reliable. She took my puppy to her house to play with her two dogs and then dropped her back off, and visited again in the afternoon to feed her lunch and let her out. She sent many pictures and took great care. Highly recommend and have already booked Julia again!

At nine years old, Gavin had only two pet sitters before we moved here. I am so grateful that he feels safe with Paige. Her gentle manner and calm, positive energy are perfect for him. She's so caring, thoughtful and eager to help. I love his happy-face photos that she sends and her support of what's important to me. She's a gem!

I had such a great experience! Frankie is a very nervous and independent cat, so I was worried about leaving her with someone new. She was incredibly patient, respected Frankie's space, and never tried to force interactions, which I really appreciated. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Frankie was being cared for by someone who understood her personality. Communication was great, and I came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat. I will absolutely be booking with her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and reliable pet sitter!

Shauna is fantastic. She came twice a day to check on our kitty while we were gone for two weeks. She was on time and gave our kitty so much love and attention during her visits. Could tell our kitty really enjoyed her visits by the great photos she took :) Would definitely hire her again!
