“Rachelle provided amazing care to my Sora while I was away and updated me with daily messages about her behavior. She is highly recommended for pet stays and is flawlessly reliable.”

“Alegra was absolutely amazing with Penny during her 6-night stay! Penny is a messy eater/drinker and also needs medicine twice a day, and Alegra handled everything with so much care and patience. She sent multiple photos and updates every day, which made me feel like Penny was truly loved and in great hands the entire time. Alegra is a genuinely nice person, incredibly attentive, and took the time to do a warm and welcoming meet-and-greet beforehand that immediately put us at ease. She was also very flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, which I really appreciated. We came home to a happy, relaxed pup. I couldn’t recommend Alegra more and we will definitely book with her again!”

“Emily & Steven were absolutely fantastic. We had a 4 month old puppy which is a lot of responsibility for anyone to handle. They happily took her in, cared for her and sent constant updates and pictures of their days together. I am very grateful we were able to find a family that showed how much they cared for animals. Thank you!!!”

“Clint is definitely a dog whisperer. He has a great natural finesse with dogs, and a genuine concern for the animals in his care. He keeps you updated with videos that provide comfort in the wellbeing of your furry family member.”

“Abegail was very kind and caring with Koko, she even was very responsive and sent a lot of photos for his short stay with her! Abegail even responded to our last minute request as we had issues with another sitter and was able to book her the day of our reservation! Wonderful job done and would strongly recommend her again!”

“Kate is amazing! She takes such great care of Lemon for both boarding and daycare. I love that she takes her to the beach on weekends and keeps her active and happy, whether it’s beach days or playing in her backyard. I always know Lemon is having fun and in great hands!”

“Apple was great! Fantastic communication and I felt super comfortable with my dog being in her home while I was away. He had a great time, I would highly recommend!”

“Yating took good care of my cat Sofi for the second time! It’s always reassuring to leave Sofi with someone she already knows and trusts, and Yating provided such thoughtful and attentive care again.”

“First time booking with yue and it won’t be the last! She sent lots of updates with pictures and videos each day while my pup was staying at her place. She was a prompt communicator and super accommodating to my pup who’s pretty anxious and made sure she adjusted well.”

“Xochitl (and husband) were amazing! I’ve used a lot of Rovers over the years, and she is at the very top of the list. From the first time we met her, it was clear that they were dog people. One of our pups is super timid and can take a while to warm up. Not this time! These two must have the magic touch, sending multiple pictures of her accepting belly rubs and giving kisses. Just as awesome: Some sitters will just send ‘proof of life’ shots showing that they are walking the dogs. But Xotchitl sent daily pictures of them in and outside of the house and interacting with them personally. Overall, Xotchitl made us feel at complete ease while on vacation - which doesn’t always happen. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“Victoria is the best sitter! I can tell my dog had such a good time, and she’s great about communication and was so flexible when my flight got delayed and I had to extend my booking. Thanks Victoria!”

“Outstanding pet sitter. Kept us updated at all times on our baby’s status. Huge plus was her prior experience with bully breeds and their various, mysterious ways. Felt comfortable right away after leaving her behind. Jocy is super detail oriented and very attentive to all doggie needs. We would absolutely book her again. 100% recommend. Thanks Jocy!”

“Joanna was absolutely wonderful with Tilly! She went above and beyond to make her feel like part of the family, sending frequent updates and great photos of Tilly out on walks, playing with her kids, and joining them on family outings. Tilly clearly had a fantastic time and bonded so well with everyone, especially her daughter. Beyond being an amazing caretaker, Joanna was incredibly kind and accommodating. When our travel plans got delayed, she didn't hesitate to let Tilly stay an extra night to make things easier on us. Tilly came home completely happy, relaxed, and well-cared for. We are so grateful to have found Joanna!”

“Stephen and May were the best. I was gone for over 2 weeks, a long time away. Stephen sent timely reassuring photos, and text. Sweet Gracie, 11, was content and loved the cuddles. Teddy,14, got stronger with the daily outdoor routine. They were very patient with Teddy and understood he talks/barks to get attention, treat, or bed. Afterward he is done. I super appreciate their care. I hope to fit into their schedules again.”
“Alice was great with Henry! She sent photos every day, which gave me so much peace of mind. Henry can be very anxious and a little challenging in new environments, but he settled in really well with her. I could tell he was happy and well cared for. I'd definitely leave Henry with her again!”

“Jason was great with our dog Duke. He gave him lots of exercise and even helped him walk better on the leash! Dukes really enjoyed playing with his dogs and playing fetch. We would definitely book him again. Thank you Jason from all of us.”

“Dear Rover, My german shepherd stayed with Alexis for 1 night and 2 days as a test case to see how well your service would work out for him. Luca (his name) is very high energy and loves to play and get lots of attention. He is 7 years old and this was the first time he has been away from home ever so I was concerned how he would react. My worries were all for nothing. First Alexis is a very nice, well organized and calm person so I liked her right away. Next her house has a large beautiful yard for dogs to play in and it is well secured so they won't escape. When I dropped off Luca he was interested in sniffing everything and seemed to forget about me as I left. Alexis sent me lots of pictures of Luca playing and hanging out in and out of her house so I was happy for him that he was having a good time there. When I came to pick Luca up I could see that he was already becoming attached to Alexis as he stood near her as we talked. When we left he was tugging on his leash to go back to her house instead of coming with me to our car (a good sign). Alexis told me that Luca and her dog played a lot and became friends (I am happy about that he had another dog to play with). All considered I was very happy with his stay with Alexis and am intending to bring him back to her. I would highly recommend her.”

“Jaylynne is awesome with our two kitties and always does a great job with them. We frequently book her for cat sitting needs. She’s great with our shy kitty and also is reliable with giving meds to your pet if needed. She provides thorough updates and is respectful of your home. She always follows all instructions. I highly recommend her to take care of your pets while away.”

“Sara was amazing with my cats! I had one that needed medication and she was really great about asking questions and communicating! I felt extremely reassured that my pets were being well taken care of and plan to use her in the future!”

About: I grew up on a hobby farm, where my grandmother was the local cat rescuer and my great grandmother ran a dog kennel. I finally counted and got up to 17 dogs before I lost count and am completely serious when I say I have had over 40 cats in my lifetime, sometimes over 20 at once! I still foster cats of all ages from the San Diego Humane Society regularly. I've always had a love for animals and wish I could own one now. Nothing would bring me more joy than getting to spend time with animals every day. I have a very flexible schedule, and am excited to accommodate any of your pet care needs.
“Jennifer is an amazing pet sitter. My cats so loved her and were at ease when I got home. Shes reliable and responsive and totally keeps in touch whenever any issue presents. I highly recommend and will definitely have her take care of my babies in the future.”

“Hazel was AMAZING! Our pups were in such great hands and she was so communicative through the entire process, we will definitely be using her for our dog sitting needs again! She was so gentle and gracious, even sitting with our more anxious bernadoodle at meal times to make sure she was comfortable and bringing approved treats over for our pets! We are so grateful for her and our dogs are looking forward to seeing her again!!”

“Krystal was wonderful! So kind and responsible, she took fantastic care of my cat, who needs special care and medication. Krystal clearly has experience with animals and knew exactly how to approach my shy kitty so that my cat immediately loved her! She also sent pictures and regular updates of her visits. I would definitely book her again :)”

“The best cat-sitters we’ve ever used! Great communication, and excellent care all around. And they went above and beyond, even bringing a new toy for the cats to play with, lots of photos from each visit, including one of the clean litter boxes so we could see it was done. Very impressed, and us and the cats are so happy we chose them!”

“Stephen and May did a drop in for my cat and they were both amazing! My cat normally doesn't like women that much but she loved May immediately. They followed all directions and sent great photos and videos of the drop in. Highly recommend.”

About: I have had animals in my household since I was born from dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, turtles, fish and geckos. I recently had my English bulldog (Bentley) pass after 13 years together. Over the years, we’ve also fostered several rescue animals, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they waited for their forever homes. I understand that every cat is different. Some are social and playful, while others prefer quiet companionship and personal space. I’m happy to meet your cat where they are and provide the kind of care and attention that makes them feel most comfortable. You’ll receive plenty of photos, videos, and updates throughout my visits because I know how important that peace of mind is when you’re away from your pets. My goal is for both you and your cat to feel completely at ease while you’re apart.

About: I’ve had cats for as long as I can remember — I truly grew up with them. My family had two Cornish Rex cats, so I’m very familiar with cats that have unique personalities, sensitivities, and care needs. Over the years, I’ve pet-sat for many families with one or multiple cats, each with their own routines and temperaments. I understand that cats need patience, calm energy, and respect for their boundaries, and I always let them warm up at their own pace. I’m a hardcore cat lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with cats — whether that means playtime, quiet companionship, brushing, feeding, or keeping litter boxes clean and fresh. I’m attentive, detail-oriented, and committed to making sure your cat feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to follow specific routines, give updates, and treat your cat like one of my own.

“Yue was a great dog sitter. I’d definitely hire her again. She sent many still photos and videos of our dog throughout the day. It was easy to communicate with her. She answered promptly and was very accommodating to our schedule. She walked our dog before we picked her up, so our dog would be able to sit for the long car ride home and not need to be relieved immediately. Yue was friendly and responsive.”

About: I have had pets in my family since I was born. These pets have included dogs, cats, reptiles and rabbits. I am currently a dog mom to my French Bulldog, Jade. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor in January of this year. It has been a difficult road but I am now very experienced with medication distribution and special needs. We go on daily stroller walks :) due to her walking imbalance. I also am involved with SoCal Bulldog rescue and attend events as well as volunteer with my family. Animals are family to me, Jade is considered my daughter not just a pet. I currently work remote so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to care for your pet and do not have children. Working remotely gives me the freedom to provide dog walking, feeding and potty breaks if I am not at your home full time. While caring for your pet, I will follow your feeding and walking schedule and any other exercise requirements. My dog sleeps in my bed so I am ok with that if you do the same. I am also comfortable with special needs pets and medication distribution. When caring for your pet in your home, I will treat your home with respect and insure that it is in the same condition as when I arrived. I will always make sure the home is secured and locked.
“Andrew is a wonderful dog walker. He took great care of my dogs while on vacation. My dogs are not easy and Andrew handled them beautifully. I would hire him again.”

About: Hi! My name is Viviana, and I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old. Over the years, dogs have been a constant part of my life as members of my family. During college and grad school, I volunteered every weekend at animal shelters, helping with feeding, cleaning, enrichment, and walking dogs of all sizes and personalities. I also have experience fostering shelter dogs in my home, so I’m very comfortable working with dogs who may need extra patience, structure, or confidence-building. I adopted my own dog when he was about 4 months old, and he is now 12 years old and still in great shape. Having cared for a senior dog has given me a lot of hands-on experience with aging-related needs and routines. I’m confident caring for dogs who need special attention, including post-surgery support (such as assisting with potty breaks using a brace/helper sling), giving medications, and following specific care instructions. I also provide basic grooming care like brushing teeth and coat brushing if requested. One of my favorite hobbies is teaching dogs new skills! I enjoy everything from basic obedience (sit, down, stay, leash manners) to fun and advanced tricks like jumping rope, retrieving items, and even working with Augmentative and Interspecies Communication (AIC), using communication buttons to help dogs express needs and preferences. Whether your dog needs a calm companion, structured routine, playtime, training enrichment, or gentle senior care, I’ll treat them like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work fully remotely, and my husband also has a flexible schedule. We are home most of the day, so dogs are rarely left alone and can get plenty of attention, supervision, and potty breaks throughout the day. When I’m out of the house, it’s usually for dog-related activities like walks or trips to the dog park. I have a friendly senior dog who loves the dog park and does great around other dogs and children. I also have two young children (ages 4 and 7) who are in school during the day, and in the afternoons we often go to the park together with our dog. In my home, pets are cared for in a safe and comfortable environment with plenty of attention and supervision. I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor potty breaks and playtime, and my friendly senior dog can provide companionship if your dog enjoys being around other dogs. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. If requested, I can also crate your dog to match your home routine or for added comfort and safety. In a client’s home, I provide the same level of care by following your instructions carefully, ensuring your pet gets potty breaks, fresh water and meals, exercise, medication if needed, and lots of affection and enrichment. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m able to provide multiple visits per day if needed. I can offer potty breaks, feeding and fresh water, walks and exercise, medication administration, post-surgery support, basic grooming (including brushing and teeth brushing upon request), and plenty of playtime and mental stimulation.

“Baisly was so great with my dog Summit! Summit can be territorial and leash aggressive but she loved Baisly and immediately warmed up to her. I’d recommend Baisly with anyone’s pet.”

“Lauren is the best! She made the time to come meet my golden before we ever booked a dog walk with her so that I knew the person behind the profile! She was attentive and sweet with my pup, who can be ALOT of work as she is only 1 and full of energy. Lauren listened to all of my training that I have implemented and she maintained consistency. She kept me updated with all of Georgia's walks and made me feel very happy that my pup was taken care of during the day while I was at work. Book lauren today!! ”

Whether your pet loves long walks, couch cuddles, belly scratches, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel happy and secure while you’re away. I also know how hard it can be to leave your pets behind while traveling. That’s why you’ll receive plenty of photos, videos, and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, loved, and having a great time! 🩷 You can also expect respect the utmost for your home, clear communication, and attentive care from start to finish. My goal is simple: for both you and your pet to feel completely at ease while you’re away. Since recently selling our family cleaning business, I have an extremely flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable care that works around your pet’s established routine. I also offer free meet-and-greets before your booking whenever possible. This gives us a chance to get to know each other, discuss your pet’s routine, and make sure everyone feels comfortable before you leave. I want both you and your pet to feel confident that you’re in good hands. I recently sold my family cleaning business, so I currently have a super flexible schedule and can devote plenty of time and attention to your pets! Whether your pet needs multiple walks, lots of playtime, frequent potty breaks, or simply some extra companionship, I’m happy to accommodate their routine. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and last-minute bookings whenever possible. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. As a pet parent to a rescue dog and two rescue cats, and someone who has fostered several dogs, I understand that every animal has unique needs and personalities. I take time to learn your pet’s routine and follow it as closely as possible to help them feel secure while you’re away. You can expect lots of photos, videos, and updates throughout each visit because I know how important that peace of mind is. I also treat every client’s home with the utmost respect and care, leaving it exactly as I found it. Free meet-and-greets are always welcome so we can make sure everyone feels comfortable before the booking begins!
“Avery does a great job with my Riley. I was very nervous starting with dog walking and she has been a wonderful guide and caregiver for my little guy. Her updates are thorough and she’s a pleasure to work with!”

“Anna took great care of our dog PJ while we were on vacation. She is nice and thorough, and I could tell PJ was in great hands. My anxious dog needed a calm and understanding environment and she was able to provide that. Anna was able to follow the feeding and other instructions easily, and communicated with me daily, providing pictures and videos of PJ while we were away. I think PJ enjoyed his time so much with Anna because he wasn’t really excited to see me back! Thank you Anna for taking in my quirky PJ and providing for his needs while we were on vacation. 😊”

“Very happy with our experience. Our dog had a great time with Ryan's family. Ryan was easy to communicate with and he was very accommodating when our travel plans changed unexpectedly at the last minute and we had to extend the boarding for a few days.”

“Mayank and Shritu are truly wonderful pet caregivers! This was our first time using Rover, and we were a little nervous at first. We chose them based on their many positive reviews—and we’re so happy we did. They were amazing! They sent us daily photos and videos of Blue, which really put us at ease. Knowing he was having fun with other dogs and receiving so much love made all the difference. Thank you so much, Mayank and Shritu!”

“Hana took amazing care of our pup, Atlas! He had a blast playing with other dogs and getting to hang outside throughout the day! Hana took Atlas on walks & always kept us updated by sending us photos & videos of him being his happy self! I highly recommend Hana! Will definitely be reaching out to her again when we need to have our Atlas boarded :)”

“Dean and Madeira were professional, communicative, and so kind! They took wonderful care of our little ones. Everything went smoothly from drop-off to pick-up. Highly recommend!”

“Royce had a great time with Jimmy! He was very communicative and sent plenty of pictures and responded quickly. Definitely recommend him and will use him again in the future.”
