“Emily did a great job watching our two pups. We recently had a baby and the dogs loved having individual attention and cuddle time with her while we were out of town. We came home to happy pups and a clean house. We would absolutely use Emily again.”

“Jennifer was great watching my pup while I was away! She was very communicative, sent photo updates and left my home how she found it. I also greatly appreciate her flexibility as I had construction going on during her stay.”

“Josette has been wonderful with our two dogs! We have an anxious girl who is typically nervous around new people but she took to Josette right away and is now very excited when she comes because she knows she is going to go on an adventure with her and have a blast. Josette is also great with our senior guy, and she’s able to tire them both out even though they have different exercise needs. Josette also totally spoiled them with plenty of treats (pre-approved by us) and by switching up the activities she took them on so every day was new and exciting. She also sent plenty of update photos, which we appreciate. We’re very pleased with how quickly our dogs became comfortable with her and we fully trust her with our fur babies. I highly recommend Josette!”

“Tamara did a great job House Sitting and walking Maverick. She followed all instructions and sent photos during her stay. She was easy to communicate with and follow through on all plans. I felt very comfortable having her stay at my home and she left everything in order. I highly recommend Tamara and will definitely book her for future needs.”

“Ashley was a great pet and house sitter while we were out of town. She was very communicative, sent us daily updates and even helped us out with a couple of house requests. Will definitely be re-booking!”

“Kayla was very attentive and communicative throughout her stay with our three pets. We will definitely continue to ask her to return to watch our animals and feel confident that they are being well taken care of : )”

“Jay Lynne was great with our two very different cats. She catered to each of their personalities and made sure they were super well cared for. She provided us with frequent updates and was an amazing communicator. We really appreciate her and will definitely have her care for our babies again.”

“Krystal was great! Smart, professional, and easy to work with. Our pets (2 dogs, 1 cat) were happy and healthy when we returned. We would absolutely use her again. Thanks!”

“Debbie was a wonderful sitter for our doodle puppy. We were visiting San Diego for the weekend, and hired Debbie for a few hours to watch Mozzie at our Airbnb while we went out to dinner. Mozzie and Debbie clicked instantly, which put us at ease to enjoy our evening! She was very easy to communicate with, flexible when we shifted our booking times around, sent pictures throughout the evening, took him on a walk, and even accommodated Mozzie’s funky eating habits. We will definitely call Debbie again for our next San Diego trip!”

“We couldn't be happier with Karen. This is our 2nd time with her house-sitting with our fur babies while we are out of town for a few days. She shows up on time, sends pictures while we are away so we can see how happy our girls are during our absence and communicates often. One of our girls did not want to eat her dinner one night and Karen let us know, asked for our input on what she might try to entice her to eat and was able to finally get Betty to eat up. Her extra care and concern for their well being gives us peace of mind and confidence that our babies are being well taken care of while we are away. Thank you Karen. We are looking forward to your next visit!!”

“Nyako, goes by Koko, did an absolutely wonderful job house sitting for us and caring for our 3 kids. We are in the process of moving overseas, so our home was fairly sparse on furniture, but she took it completely in stride and made the most of the situation without missing a beat. Throughout the weekend, she kept us regularly updated, which gave us so much peace of mind. She followed our instructions to the letter and clearly put the kids’ comfort and happiness first, they had a great time with her. Coming home to a house that was actually cleaner than when we left was the cherry on top! It’s rare to find someone so reliable, warm, and adaptable. We felt completely calm and at ease during our trip knowing the house and our pups were in such good hands. We would hire her again in a heartbeat, the only reason we can’t is because we’re heading overseas. Recommend 10/10, without hesitation.”

About: Hey, I'm Jack! I grew up on a family farm surrounded by animals, which gave me a lifelong love for pets. My roommates and I currently live with two rescued dogs, so I’m very familiar with the daily care, attention, and patience every pets need. I’m 27, work from home full-time, and live an active lifestyle in Pacific Beach. Because I work remotely, I’m able to spend plenty of time with pets throughout the day—whether that’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. Every pet has their own personality and needs, and I do my best to understand and accommodate them. I’m dependable, easy to communicate with, and quick to respond to messages. I’d love the chance to meet you and your pets!

About: I offer a unique blend of scientific precision and deep compassion for your pets. For two years, I fostered shy and anxious dogs for the Helen Woodward Animal Center (HWAC). Getting accepted into their program required passing a rigorous vetting process, including interviews, home visits, and specialized training. Through HWAC, I gained extensive experience caring for rescues with complex medical and behavioral needs, including parasites, severe dental issues, and anxiety. I also provided essential behavior and obedience training to help these dogs thrive. Before fostering dogs, I was the proud owner of a diabetic cat for five years. I am completely comfortable with advanced medical care, including tracking blood glucose with a glucometer, administering subcutaneous insulin injections twice daily, and giving oral medications. My background as a scientist allows me to communicate clearly and effectively with veterinarians and clinic staff, ensuring your pet's medical instructions are followed perfectly. Because I currently have no pets of my own and am taking a hiatus from work, I have total availability. I look forward to devoting 100% of my time, skills, and love to your companion here in the San Diego area! 24/7 Flexible Availability (Evenings & Weekends Included) Because I am currently on a professional hiatus, your pet becomes my primary focus. I have complete schedule flexibility to accommodate your exact routine, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays. Unlike sitters juggling a traditional 9-to-5, I am available for mid-day medical checks, precise feeding times, and extended companionship. Whether you need standard drop-ins or a dedicated presence to ease an anxious pet's separation anxiety, my open schedule allows me to be there whenever you or your pet need me most. Specialized In-Home Care for Your Pet's Comfort I provide premium, attentive care exclusively inside your pet's own home, where they already feel safest and most comfortable. Because I live in a yard-free condominium, I choose not to offer boarding. Instead, I bring my extensive medical and behavioral experience directly to your doorstep. This setup ensures your pet’s routine remains completely uninterrupted, eliminating the stress of a new environment. Whether your cat requires precise, timely insulin injections or your dog needs a patient, structured potty schedule, I adapt entirely to your home's setup. Your pet gets 100% of my focus in the environment they love best, giving you total peace of mind while you are away.
“Thank you for taking such good care of my kids! My dog, Charlie, and my cat, Apollo, both were very well taken care of. I received a lot of updates and photos and came home to a clean house with happy animals. I recommend Ryan for taking care of your babies :)”

About: Hi! I’m Bailey, an experienced pet sitter, dog walker, and lifelong animal lover. 🐶🐱🐰 My wife and I currently share our home with our rescue dog, Pinky, and our two rescue cats, Loof and Chav. Animals have always been a huge part of my life (always had dogs and cats as pets growing up), and we’ve also fostered several dogs over the years - helping them feel safe, loved, and comfortable until they found their forever homes. 🤎 Caring for animals is truly a privilege to me. I treat every pet as if they were my own - with tons of love, attention, affection, playtime, and patience. Whether your pet loves long walks, couch cuddles, belly scratches, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel happy and secure while you’re away. I also know how hard it can be to leave your pets behind while traveling. That’s why you’ll receive plenty of photos, videos, and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, loved, and having a great time! 🩷 You can also expect respect the utmost for your home, clear communication, and attentive care from start to finish. My goal is simple: for both you and your pet to feel completely at ease while you’re away. Since recently selling our family cleaning business, I have an extremely flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable care that works around your pet’s established routine. I also offer free meet-and-greets before your booking whenever possible. This gives us a chance to get to know each other, discuss your pet’s routine, and make sure everyone feels comfortable before you leave. I want both you and your pet to feel confident that you’re in good hands. I recently sold my family cleaning business, so I currently have a super flexible schedule and can devote plenty of time and attention to your pets! Whether your pet needs multiple walks, lots of playtime, frequent potty breaks, or simply some extra companionship, I’m happy to accommodate their routine. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and last-minute bookings whenever possible. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. As a pet parent to a rescue dog and two rescue cats, and someone who has fostered several dogs, I understand that every animal has unique needs and personalities. I take time to learn your pet’s routine and follow it as closely as possible to help them feel secure while you’re away. You can expect lots of photos, videos, and updates throughout each visit because I know how important that peace of mind is. I also treat every client’s home with the utmost respect and care, leaving it exactly as I found it. Free meet-and-greets are always welcome so we can make sure everyone feels comfortable before the booking begins!
“Angela did such a great job house sitting and watching our two Frenchies for us! We got updates, pictures, and videos, which were very appreciated. We've already booked her for another weekend!”

North Clairemont pet parents share their Rover experiences
Katlyn did a fantastic job watching our two pups while we were in Europe. It is always a little nerve wracking leaving your dogs with someone new for the first time, especially when you will be so far away. However, Katlyn made us feel 100% comfortable and was very detailed and careful taking care of our babies, including one that comes with lots of extra instructions. We will absolutely use her in the future and highly recommend her.

I am so happy to have found Jaylynne to take care of my fur babies while I was on vacation! With each visit, she provided detailed updates and pictures. Jaylynne is extremely mindful, attentive, and genuinely cared for my pets as if they were her own. I was completely at ease while being away, knowing she would communicate so well after every visit. She made sure to play with the dogs and even spent dedicated 1:1 time with our cat, which was incredibly thoughtful. I am so grateful for her and will definitely be booking her again!

Aleksandra had an excellent rapport with my dogs from the beginning. They quickly settled down during the meet&greet and she was not rattled by them. She was attentive to instructions and asked questions as needed. Most importantly she was prompt and reliable. Very good at reading an understanding the dogs communication. The stay went well.

My dogs mean the world to me & leaving them is always a little nerve-racking so finding someone I can trust & rely on for their safety & care means everything. Elise instantly put me at ease from the moment I met her. I was immediately impressed by her careful attention to detail & thoughtfulness as I went over all the instructions for my 2 dogs. I felt comfortable knowing my girls were in capable, caring hands. She is trustworthy, professional, and very considerate. She had great communication & updates with adorable photos of my pups. We returned to our home in perfect condition, and healthy, happy dogs. I am so grateful to have found Elise & I highly recommend her!

Roberta is hands down the best rover I’ve ever had. She watched both of my pups while I was out of town. My boxer Toasty is very anxious and takes forever to warm up to new people and within an hour he was giving her kisses. She kept me updated with tons of photos and videos of them on walks, playing with toys, and she even got them pup cups! I could tell they were genuinely having the time of their lives. And when I got home, the place was spotless. Couldn’t recommend her more highly.

I booked Catalina last minute for house sitting and she was great with my two dogs. She was prepared and arrived the day of booking, on short notice, for a quick look around the place and took notes. She also managed one of the dogs having separation anxiety at night.
