My roommates and I currently live with two rescued dogs, so I’m very familiar with the daily care, attention, and patience every pet needs. I’m 27, work from home full-time, and live an active lifestyle in Pacific Beach. Because I work remotely, I’m able to spend plenty of time with pets throughout the day—whether that’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always had dogs of my own, giving me years of hands on experience caring for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Over the years, I’ve cared for friends’ and family members’ dogs through walks, drop-in visits, feeding, and companionship while they’re away. Pet care is built into my weekly routine through my business, WalkWell. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to provide weekday walks, drop in visits, and recurring care for both dogs and cats. I’m available for morning, midday, afternoon, and select evening visits, and I make sure each pet gets personalized attention based on their needs. Safety, trust, and communication are very important to me when caring for someone’s pet. For walks and drop in visits in a client’s home, I make sure pets stay on their normal routine, including walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of attention. I’m respectful of each client’s home and provide updates/photos so owners feel comfortable while they’re away. In my home, pets are treated like family and safety always comes first. I have a dog of my own, so if I ever accept daycare or boarding requests, it would only be for pets that seem like a good fit, are well-behaved, and get along well with my black lab. I prefer to do a meet and greet beforehand whenever possible to make sure everyone is comfortable.
