Pet care is part of my daily rhythm. My cat has her own morning and night routine with meals, playtime, and plenty of zoomies throughout the day. I know every cat is different—some are independent, while others crave more attention. I always take time to feel out their personality or follow the owner’s guidance so I can earn their trust and help them feel as safe and comfortable as possible. When I had my dog, Ember, she was my best friend. I always made sure she had her morning and evening walks, and I stayed on top of her medication schedule. She absolutely loved playing fetch—she could outrun any dog at the park and never got tired of it. With dogs, I follow a consistent routine to keep them happy and balanced. Mornings start with feeding and a walk to get their energy out and set a positive tone for the day. After work, I take them out again—whether it’s another walk or a fun trip to the park. I genuinely love having dogs by my side. I’m a homebody, so whether I’m relaxing, working, or tidying up, they’re always right there with me, part of my everyday life. In the evening, it’s dinner time followed by one last outing before winding down for the night.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow your routine as closely as possible to help your pet feel safe and secure. I’m experienced with administering medications, sticking to feeding schedules, and keeping energy levels balanced with walks or playtime. I’m comfortable with multiple pets and make sure everyone gets equal attention and care. I also respect your space, keep it clean, and will provide updates with photos so you feel confident while you’re away. Whether your pet is crate-trained or free-roaming, I’ll follow your preferences exactly. During drop-ins, I focus on what matters most to your pet—feeding, fresh water, potty time or litter box cleaning, play, and a few extra minutes of love. I’m patient with shy or anxious pets and confident managing more than one animal at a time. If your dog uses a crate, I’ll make sure it’s a positive and comforting part of the routine. I’m also happy to tidy up any messes, bring in packages, or follow any extra care instructions you leave behind. Expect updates and pictures from every visit! When pets stay with me, they’re treated like part of the family. I live in a clean, calm home with plenty of indoor space and access to outdoor walks and play. I’m home most of the time, so your pet won’t be left alone for long. I’m comfortable boarding multiple pets and can accommodate crate-trained pups or those who prefer to sleep freely. I provide structured feeding, medication if needed, playtime, enrichment, and lots of love. Your pet will feel safe, entertained, and cared for like they’re one of my own.

Information Dylan F. would like to know about your pet
It’s really important to me that every pet feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for—so I always like to know a few key things ahead of time: • Daily routine – Feeding schedule, walk times, potty breaks, and bedtime habits • Medical needs – Any medications, allergies, or past health issues • Behavioral notes – Are they shy, anxious, reactive, or high-energy? Any situations or triggers to avoid? • Crate training – Do they use a crate, and if so, how do they feel about it? • Time alone – Are they okay being left alone for a bit, or do they need extra companionship? • House rules – Are there furniture or room restrictions? Anything I should avoid doing in your home? • Social habits – How do they react to new people, other pets, or loud noises? • What they love! – Favorite toys, words, games, or comfort routines The more I know, the more I can keep your pet happy, safe, and on their normal schedule—making your time away as stress-free as possible for both of you.
A typical day
It really depends on each pet’s energy level, age, and personality—but I’m all about making sure they’re happy and engaged! For active dogs, I love going on long walks, playing fetch (especially if they’re fetch-obsessed like my late dog Ember!), going to dog-friendly parks, or working in some basic training games to stimulate their minds. I’m comfortable handling bigger breeds and high-energy pups who need a lot of movement. For older dogs or low-energy breeds, I’ll keep things slower-paced with relaxing strolls, gentle play, and lots of affection. If they’re staying with me, they’ll have a calm environment with plenty of cozy spots to relax by my side. With cats, I adjust to their comfort level—whether that means interactive play with feather toys and laser pointers, or quiet companionship and cozy lap time. I know some cats need space while others crave attention, and I let them set the tone. If your pet enjoys enrichment, I’m happy to use treat puzzles, scent games, or simple training tasks to keep them mentally engaged. Whether they’re staying with me or I’m coming to them, I’ll make sure they get both care and fun tailored to what they love.

Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for all kinds of pets—from cats and dogs to chinchillas, hamsters, snakes, and fish. I grew up in a home full of animals and have always been the go-to person for friends and neighbors who needed someone dependable and kind to care for their pets. I currently have one sweet tabby cat, and I recently lost my beloved Ember. While her passing has been incredibly hard, it’s opened up both my heart and schedule to care for more animals. I genuinely love spending time with pets and treat each one like my own—with patience, attentiveness, and love. I work a couple evenings a week varying from 3/3:30 to 9/9:30 PM, but the rest of my time is spent working from home—so I have plenty of flexibility for pet visits, walks, and companionship. Whether your pet needs a quick drop-in, a long walk, or someone to stay the night and keep them company, I’ve got you covered. Looking forward to meeting your furry (or scaly!) friend soon! 💛

Dylan was super accommodating and followed all instructions! Left my apartment looking spotless and sparkling! So sweet and truly cares for animals!

dylan did a wonderful job checking in on my pups. they were so happy to see her she was very communicative and easy to work with
Dylan has been an amazing cat sitter for my two furballs. She took care of them while I was away, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything went! From the start, it was clear that Dylan really cares about animals. She kept me updated with cute photos and messages, which made it so much easier to relax while I was gone. My cats are pretty particular, but Dylan handled their quirks like a pro. She made sure they had plenty of playtime, kept their litter boxes spotless, and gave them some extra love. When I got home, my cats were happy and chill—definitely a sign of great care. If you’re looking for someone to take care of your pets with genuine affection and attention to detail, Dylan’s your person. Thanks so much, Dylan—you’re the best!
Dylan has provided care for my dog and cats for the last 8 years. She follows my instructions to a tee and sends pics & updates. She comes to my house and helps with a few other items while I’m out of town too. I would recommend her to anyone needing help with a pet during the workday or while on vacation.
