About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have always been a huge animal lover. I rescued both of my dogs while I was in college about 12 years ago. I have a 13-year-old German Shepherd mix, Shepp, who now has a variety of skin and mobility issues, so I’m very comfortable with senior dogs, giving medications, and providing a little extra patience and care when needed. I also have Luna, my 9-year-old mixed breed, who is still crazy, energetic, and keeps me on my toes! I’m very comfortable caring for and walking multiple dogs at once, so multi-pet households are no problem at all. Over the years I’ve learned plenty of tricks for giving medications, handling different personalities, and making dogs feel comfortable and safe. I’ve always loved all kinds of animals. I even had a bearded dragon, and growing up I wanted to be a zoologist. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ll treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own. I’m returning to school at San Diego Mesa College and have classes Monday through Thursday, with classes starting as early as 8 AM and ending as late as 3 PM. My schedule still gives me plenty of flexibility for dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week, especially in the early morning, afternoon, and evening, and on Fridays and weekends. I’m happy to work with you to find times that fit your pet’s normal routine. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets and your home. I always treat every pet like I would my own and take the time to learn their routine, personality, and any special instructions you have. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels, including senior dogs who may need a little extra patience or assistance. I also live in a very dog-friendly community on the ground level with an enclosed patio, which gives dogs a safe and convenient outdoor space. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and get plenty of attention.

Chandler impressed us from the start. She was confident, capable, and it was immediately clear she knew exactly what she was doing, especially when it came to handling our 92-lb American Bulldog/Mastiff mix, Olive. Out of all the sitters we’ve had through Rover over the years, Chandler was one of the few people I immediately felt I could completely trust with both our dog and our home. At our meet and greet, she got down on both knees to pet and snuggle Olive, and you could tell right away that she’s a true animal lover. She was completely comfortable with Olive’s size, knew exactly how to put on her prong collar without any help, and paid close attention as I walked her through my admittedly very long Google Doc of instructions! Chandler and her boyfriend, Nitai, took such great care of Olive while we were away. Olive managed to mess up a couple things around the house while they were watching her - because she is a 92-lb doofus - and they actually fixed them for us. We also came home to an incredibly clean house, which was such a wonderful surprise after traveling. It is such a breath of fresh air to find someone you feel completely comfortable trusting with your dog and your home. We’re so grateful to Chandler and Nitai and would absolutely recommend them to anyone, especially those with larger dogs!
Anna Julia is the perfect pet sitter. My dog Lou Lou loved her from the very beginning. She followed my directions perfectly and asked me all the right questions. She sent me frequent photos and reports on Lou's goings-ons. Lou is very playful and energetic and Anna Julia kept up with her. :) I will definitely ask her to sit for us again. Highly recommend!
This was our first time booking with Janet- she is a very competent and capable dog sitter! She was happy to do a meet and greet a few weeks before our trip so we could ask questions and talk through specifics. We are beyond happy with Jayla! We had major worries going on an extended vacation with our needy senior poodle. Jayla came over for a meet and greet and our dog sat on her lap happily, so we knew she was the right person. She stayed in our home and spent a lot of time home with our doggie - which made her so happy and comfortable with us away. Jayla is delightful, dependable and trustworthy - and I plan to ask her for our next time away from home.

I had a wonderful experience with Zachary! Communication was excellent from start to finish, and I always felt updated on how Stewart was doing. As the owner of a senior dog with mobility challenges, it's not easy leaving him in someone else's care, but I felt completely at ease.
