About: My name is Karen. Born & raised in San Diego. Looking to take care of & provide unlimited love for your fur babies. I’ve spent my whole life around all animals from horses, chickens, goats, pigs, cats, & of course doggos!! I would kill for my babies so when I’m working I’ll always treat yours the same. They are an extension of you so they will be treated with the same amount of respect. Provide constant care & willing to go above & beyond to accommodate all range of needs wether it’s a quick walk or need someone who you a rely on for multiple days/weeks. I do have a 3 year old toddler who is with me 24/7 except when he’s at school from 11:45-2:30. He absolutely LOVES all animals & loves to walk them. I have had cats my entire life but I have watched many of my friends dogs wether it’s staying at their house, coming by couple times a day for walks/feeding, when I had a house I would have them stay with me. Obviously absolutely spoil my cats giving them constant attention & love. Now they require it & I’m proud of that.

They showered him with attention, took him on countless adventures, and made sure he felt right at home. Being my first time leaving him with new people, they made sure to provide me with so many pictures and updates on the fun they were having together! It was so reassuring to know that he was not just being “watched,” but genuinely cared for. I came back to a very happy, healthy puppy full of stories and pictures about his new favorite people and his adventures. About: I've been around animals for many years and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable and safe. I'm happy to follow feeding schedules, administer basic medications if instructed, go on walks, play with energetic pets, or simply provide companionship. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, happiness, and well-being. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have very flexible schedule as well so if I’m needed, I can always stop by in addition to the already scheduled times. I try to be around as much as I can. For walks, I usually walk them earlier in the morning before it gets too hot for them.

“Josette has been wonderful with our two dogs! We have an anxious girl who is typically nervous around new people but she took to Josette right away and is now very excited when she comes because she knows she is going to go on an adventure with her and have a blast. Josette is also great with our senior guy, and she’s able to tire them both out even though they have different exercise needs. Josette also totally spoiled them with plenty of treats (pre-approved by us) and by switching up the activities she took them on so every day was new and exciting. She also sent plenty of update photos, which we appreciate. We’re very pleased with how quickly our dogs became comfortable with her and we fully trust her with our fur babies. She also baked us some really delicious banana bread before we came home! Leaving our dog with Maddy, we always have peace of mind that she will be getting the best care and are so grateful to her.
Hannah was phenomenal with my 14-year-old senior black labrador retriever, Penny. She stopped by the house ahead of time for a meet and greet and I could tell immediately she would be a good fit for Penny and the house. I felt totally comfortable with Hannah staying at my house and watching after Penny while I was out of town, and Penny had a total blast. I received regular videos and photos from Hannah throughout her stay, which of course is super comforting knowing Penny was well cared for even though I was halfway across the country. Hannah stayed for a total of three nights and was incredibly communicative and accomodating. Would definitely recommend her to anyone with a senior dog (or any other kind of dog)!
Cannot recommend Linette enough! She was so communicative and good with my boys. She left my house in great shape, made sure the dogs had plenty of physical and mental stimulation. She asked all the right questions and made me feel so good about leaving my dogs with her.
Jessica was incredibly flexible and communicative. I’m in the military and my schedule is constantly changing which changed our booking last minute but she was flexible and we were able to figure something out that worked for the both of us. She sent a lot of pics of my dog and I could tell he was well taken care of!
I could not be happier with our experience and will def be booking with Jaylynne again! She stayed the weekend with our husky (that has special/medical needs) and cat and they were happy and relaxed when we returned. She sends pictures and is a great communicator. Sara was amazing with my two dogs! She house sat for a week and checked in regularly. I also got photos and videos so I could see my fur babies from time to time. The house was spotless when I returned as if no one had even been here. If you live in the area, you should definitely reach out to her for pet sitting, check ins, or even just dog walking.
Chandler impressed us from the start. She was confident, capable, and it was immediately clear she knew exactly what she was doing, especially when it came to handling our 92-lb American Bulldog/Mastiff mix, Olive. Out of all the sitters we’ve had through Rover over the years, Chandler was one of the few people I immediately felt I could completely trust with both our dog and our home. At our meet and greet, she got down on both knees to pet and snuggle Olive, and you could tell right away that she’s a true animal lover. She was completely comfortable with Olive’s size, knew exactly how to put on her prong collar without any help, and paid close attention as I walked her through my admittedly very long Google Doc of instructions! Chandler and her boyfriend, Nitai, took such great care of Olive while we were away. Olive managed to mess up a couple things around the house while they were watching her - because she is a 92-lb doofus - and they actually fixed them for us. We also came home to an incredibly clean house, which was such a wonderful surprise after traveling. It is such a breath of fresh air to find someone you feel completely comfortable trusting with your dog and your home. We’re so grateful to Chandler and Nitai and would absolutely recommend them to anyone, especially those with larger dogs!
