I always make safety and trust my top priorities when caring for someone’s pet. Whether I’m in my home or a client’s home, I make sure pets are in a clean, comfortable, and secure environment where they can feel relaxed and cared for. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions from the owner. I know every animal is different, so I try to make the experience as stress free as possible by keeping things consistent and giving them plenty of attention, patience, and care. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both the pet’s space and the owner’s home, and I always aim to keep things tidy and follow directions closely. My goal is to make pets feel safe and comfortable while giving owners peace of mind that their animal is in good hands.

A typical day
A typical day with me would be fun, active, and centered around making your pet feel comfortable and cared for. For dogs, I live on a street with a park right nearby, so they would get plenty of fresh air, walks, and time outside. The University of Oregon turf fields are also only about a 5 minute walk away, which is a great spot for longer walks and extra exercise. I’d also make sure there is plenty of playtime, attention, and downtime depending on your pet’s personality and energy level. Some pets love being active and exploring, while others are happiest just relaxing and having company. No matter what, my goal is always to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

I’ve been around animals my whole life and grew up with three dogs and cats, so caring for pets has always come naturally to me. I’ve also watched and cared for neighbors’ and friends’ pets over the years, which has given me experience with different breeds, personalities, and routines. What sets me apart is how genuinely much I love animals and how seriously I take caring for them. I know every pet has their own personality and needs, and I always try to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. Whether that means sticking to their normal routine, giving them extra attention, or just being patient and calm with them, I want them to feel as at home as possible. As a graduate student, I’m responsible, dependable, and organized, and I bring that same mindset into pet care. I understand that trust is a huge part of leaving your pet with someone, and I want owners to feel fully confident that their pet is in good hands.

Eli is a caring and conscientious dog sitter. He’s a natural animal whisperer and great with dogs, cats, and all family pets. As a former college athlete, he’s an early riser and welcomes taking pets for walks or jogs. He’s also disciplined and easily manages medication and feeding routines. He’s taken care of my hyper dog and my territorial cat and I (and they) highly recommend him.
Eli has watched both my dog and my cat, and I can't recommend him enough! It's such a relief knowing they're with someone who genuinely loves animals and takes such great care of them. My pets absolutely adore him, and it's obvious he gives them so much attention, affection, and care while I'm away. He always keeps me updated, is incredibly reliable, and treats my pets like they're his own. I never have to worry when Eli is watching them, and I would hire him again in a heartbeat!
I cannot recommend Eli highly enough for any pet-sitting needs! Over the past two years, he has regularly cared for my two-year-old French bulldog, Bean, and he has been absolutely incredible every single time. Eli is exceptionally responsible, genuinely kind, and extremely attentive to every little detail of a pet's routine. He is also incredibly active, meaning my dog always gets plenty of exercise, outdoor time, and mental stimulation. Leaving your pet with someone can be stressful, but Eli completely eliminates that worry. He is trustworthy, reliable, and treats every animal like his own!
