About: Hello, San Diego! After 7 years of dedicated pet sitting in Los Angeles and a short break to complete graduate school, I’m officially back to doing what I love. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets of all life stages and needs—from lively 1.5-year-old dogs to sweet 17-year-old seniors, as well as pets managing health conditions like diabetes and blindness. I'm no stranger to a full house either; my personal record is 4 dogs and 5 cats all cozying up in the same bed! I genuinely cherish every moment spent with animals and treat every single pet with the utmost care and dedication. I am a full-time High School Dance Teacher within SDUSD. Pet care would occur around my teaching schedule (primarily weekdays between 7:30am-3:30pm). However once I am in pet-sitting mode, my full attention is on the fur babies! When he wasn't sure about the meaning of a minor behavior change, he checked in with me to make sure it was nothing to be concerned about. About: I’ve taken care of animals for over 14 years. Friends, neighbors, family, friends of friends, I’ve spent 20+ weekends a year house/pet sitting, and have averaged 3 dog walks a week for the last 3 years. I also have my Dog, Cat, and Pet First Aid Certificate as well as my Pet CPR Training Certificate from American Red Cross. Right now, I’m taking online courses for my profession. Hannah was phenomenal with my 14-year-old senior black labrador retriever, Penny. She stopped by the house ahead of time for a meet and greet and I could tell immediately she would be a good fit for Penny and the house. I felt totally comfortable with Hannah staying at my house and watching after Penny while I was out of town, and Penny had a total blast. I received regular videos and photos from Hannah throughout her stay, which of course is super comforting knowing Penny was well cared for even though I was halfway across the country. Hannah stayed for a total of three nights and was incredibly communicative and accomodating. Would definitely recommend her to anyone with a senior dog (or any other kind of dog)!
Cannot recommend Linette enough! She was so communicative and good with my boys. She left my house in great shape, made sure the dogs had plenty of physical and mental stimulation. She asked all the right questions and made me feel so good about leaving my dogs with her.
I could not be happier with our experience and will def be booking with Jaylynne again! She stayed the weekend with our husky (that has special/medical needs) and cat and they were happy and relaxed when we returned. She sends pictures and is a great communicator. Vannessa and Jason were amazing! We booked with them pretty last minute, and they were so accommodating and came over for a meet and greet beforehand, which made us feel really comfortable leaving our dogs with them. While we were gone, they were super communicative and sent us tons of photos, videos, and updates throughout the week. It was obvious they really took the time to bond with our dogs and make sure they were happy and comfortable. We came home to two happy dogs and an incredibly clean house, which was such a nice surprise after traveling. We would absolutely book with Vannessa and Jason again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for people they can trust with their pets and home!
Liz is one of the few people I trust to watch Bane besides my friends. I’m extremely grateful. It’s hard to leave him but Liz has helped give me a lot of relief knowing he’s in trusted hands. In addition to watching Bane, Liz house sits and leaves everything clean. I never have to worry once I know she’s with him. I always come home to Bane happy, fed, and clean. I would highly recommend Liz to anyone and have only kind things to say as does Bane :)
Chandler impressed us from the start. She was confident, capable, and it was immediately clear she knew exactly what she was doing, especially when it came to handling our 92-lb American Bulldog/Mastiff mix, Olive. Out of all the sitters we’ve had through Rover over the years, Chandler was one of the few people I immediately felt I could completely trust with both our dog and our home. At our meet and greet, she got down on both knees to pet and snuggle Olive, and you could tell right away that she’s a true animal lover. She was completely comfortable with Olive’s size, knew exactly how to put on her prong collar without any help, and paid close attention as I walked her through my admittedly very long Google Doc of instructions! Chandler and her boyfriend, Nitai, took such great care of Olive while we were away. Olive managed to mess up a couple things around the house while they were watching her - because she is a 92-lb doofus - and they actually fixed them for us. We also came home to an incredibly clean house, which was such a wonderful surprise after traveling. It is such a breath of fresh air to find someone you feel completely comfortable trusting with your dog and your home. We’re so grateful to Chandler and Nitai and would absolutely recommend them to anyone, especially those with larger dogs!
Martilia stayed with my dog Bailey over the weekend and did an incredible job. She stayed with Bailey a lot of the time inside, hung out with her, let her out to use the bathroom regularly, kept to her feeding schedule and gave her medicine. She appeared to actually enjoy hanging out with Bailey and sent me pictures of her hanging out with her in the living room and let her hang out with her in her bedroom . I really appreciated the extra care given to my senior dog who likes the attention and care! I would definitely utilize her again and recommend her to others. She also left the spare room in excellent condition and even did the sheets and made the bed before she left, which was totally unnecessary but very helpful and kind.
Zoria-erianna is our regular dog sitter and she always goes above and beyond! We went out of the county and before we left our senior dog was doing okay. A few days before we returned his health declined. During the entire trip Zoria-erianna kept us updated and sent pictures and videos. She regularly updated us on his condition and did her best to take care of him. Unfortunately he ended up dying the day before we came home. She called us when she found him and she took care of him and did everything for us by taking him to the vet and collecting his collar and blanket for us. The night before he died she sat with him and petted and consoled him. I can’t rave enough about how well she cares for our dogs! We have two other dogs and she continued to care for them and did an excellent job cleaning up after them and even did laundry and washed our senior dogs bedding. I highly recommend her for all your pet care needs!
