About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. I had 2 labs and a German Shepard growing up. I currently help dog sit and walk my neighbors dogs and my schedule is extremely flexible I currently have an extremely flexible schedule so I can work Monday through Sunday and I am willing to work with anyone on fitting my schedule around their needs. I currently live in a small ADU Unit in a backyard that is fenced off from my neighbors who own two friendly dogs, due to how small my unit is I would prefer to stay at a clients home if I needed to dogsit overnight!
About: I have many years of hands-on experience caring for dogs at every stage of life, from energetic puppies learning the basics to senior pups who need a little extra patience, attention, and TLC. I’m comfortable reinforcing basic puppy training, including potty and crate routines, leash manners, and basic commands, and I’m happy to follow whatever training methods you use at home. I also have plenty of experience with senior dogs and understand the importance of adjusting walks, playtime, and daily routines to their individual mobility, energy level, and needs. For overnight or multi-night stays, my dog Lola does need to accompany me. She is a sweet, senior Rat Terrier who is accustomed to being around other pets. I typically provide daily photos and updates but am happy to provide whatever makes you comfortable in knowing your pet is in good hands.
About: I’ve taken care of animals for over 14 years. Friends, neighbors, family, friends of friends, I’ve spent 20+ weekends a year house/pet sitting, and have averaged 3 dog walks a week for the last 3 years. I also have my Dog, Cat, and Pet First Aid Certificate as well as my Pet CPR Training Certificate from American Red Cross. Right now, I’m taking online courses for my profession. About: Doggy Mama of 10 years for my sweet Wheaten Terrier, Suki! I have been with her for all stages of life: curious puppy, energetic teenager, and mellow adult. This has taught me how to adjust towards whatever needs your pet may have. I can administer medication, and will easily adapt to the schedule/routine that your pet requires. I am a sophomore student at San Diego State University, majoring in Criminal Justice. I have classes Monday-Thursday starting at 12:00pm and ending by 4:00pm. I live on campus and have a car so transportation is not an issue. I am able to pet sit at anytime throughout the week that I don’t have classes- and am willing to stay over night and/or through the weekends. Caring for your companion will vary depending on personality and routine but there are definitely some core principles that I carry with me. First one being respect— respect of your home, respect of your animals needs and wants, and respect of your time. I will be present as much as I can be, even if that means just sitting in the same room as them. Another core value, depending on your pet, is exercise. It doesn’t matter if it’s a long walk, a short and slow walk, or even just interacting with toys— something that gets them moving and keeps them entertained. And a big one is love, I promise to absolutely adore your animal and show them kindness in whatever ways they need. That could look like self care: brushing their coat, massaging stiff joints. That could look like affection: rubbing on them, talking to them, and making sure they know i’m here for them. And that could also mean giving them space. Any adjustment that I can make to give you and your pet a smooth experience, I would love to do.

About: I have had my dog for over 6 years now, his name is Max and he is a Caucasian Shepherd/Ovcharka mix. He's a very big boy, I would add my old dog Sammy, he was a Beegle, but I was too young to care for him nor remember him all too well, but I will always remember the love I had and still have for him. I am a primary caregiver for some of my friends and family for their pets as well, I did not want to be compensated, they convinced me to make an account on here. I'm currently working semi full-time, meaning I am marked as a full-time worker, but they are not giving me my full hours so my time shifts from week to week. That is why I would like to be contacted a week in advance so, I can properly manage my schedule from week to week, whether it be house sitting, walking or just hanging out with the little fur dudes and dudettes. I can not provide in-home care as my current living situation can not provide a safe environment. Hopefully this will change soon, but I can provide a safe, clean and loving environment in comfort of your home since going to new places can be stressful depending on the pup or cat.

Jack is SO GREAT. One of my dogs is a mean little barky boy, and Jack was so patient with him. After a few hours, my dog became so comfortable with Jack he was laying in his lap, demanding belly rubs. Since, I’ve had Jack back again to watch the dogs, and he’s a great houseguest. Very courteous, so responsible, and great at communicating. My pups can’t wait to have him back!
Lauren was great to work with. She came and did a meet and greet prior to watching our doggie, which was so helpful to show her our dog's daily routine and get them comfortable with each other. She gave updates throughout the day and some photos which I loved. Hoping to use her again very soon!
Patricia did a fantastic job caring for our pets and home! This was my husband’s and my first time ever using Rover and our first time having someone we didn’t know stay overnight in our home, so we were definitely a little nervous going into it. We have three pets, two dogs and a special-needs cat. They all have very different personalities and needs. Our cat also requires both topical and oral medications, so I had quite a few specific instructions for her care. Patricia did an amazing job tailoring her care to each of our pets individually and making sure everyone was comfortable, happy, and well cared for. It was clear that she genuinely cared about each of them. I tend to be very specific and detailed with instructions, and Patricia respected every single one of them. She was also incredibly flexible and communicative, which made the entire experience so much easier and gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away. She sent a daily morning update with pictures, which was the perfect amount of communication. We always knew our pets were doing well without feeling overwhelmed by constant messages while we were trying to enjoy our time away. She was also extremely responsive whenever I reached out and always got back to me quickly, which really helped ease my stress while we were away. I was especially impressed with how well she left our home. Everything was just as clean and organized as I had left it, which I really appreciated. Overall, Patricia went above and beyond, and I couldn’t have asked for a better first Rover experience. I felt completely comfortable knowing my pets were in her care. She is 100% worth the money, and we will absolutely be booking Patricia again in the future!
Hayden watched Finnley and Maxwell while I was away for a long weekend. He was friendly and spent time playing with both of them, which I appreciated. I came home to two happy pets, and it was nice knowing they had someone there to keep them company while I was gone. Thank you, Hayden, for taking care of Finnley and Maxwell!

Vannessa and Jason were amazing! We booked with them pretty last minute, and they were so accommodating and came over for a meet and greet beforehand, which made us feel really comfortable leaving our dogs with them. While we were gone, they were super communicative and sent us tons of photos, videos, and updates throughout the week. It was obvious they really took the time to bond with our dogs and make sure they were happy and comfortable. We came home to two happy dogs and an incredibly clean house, which was such a nice surprise after traveling. Sage is a repeat care provider for our dog. She is thoughtful, caring, and loved by our pup! Sage went above and beyond when caring for our pup for the last 2 weeks. She was very communicative with in-depth daily updates and pictures which made us feel comfortable during our trip away. Mesa is fantastic! This is our 2nd time having Mesa dog/house sit for us. She spent a week looking after our 2 large 6-year old lab/shepherd pups. One of our boys has special needs due to a partial acl tear. Mesa handled all their needs with perfection. She communicated with us daily and left the house spotless.
