About: I’m mama to four crazy cats: Mark, Quid, Star, and Wally. They’re the most recent squad in a long line of kitties ( + one doggy!) that came before. I’m very comfortable around sassy pets, as well as ones with special diets or medication needs. I took care of my Delia doggy for 3 years, with all her rambunctious walks and homemade meals. I’m currently working part-time evenings in La Mesa, typically 3:00p-8:30p at the most. I am off work and completely free on Mon/Tue/, but I am available throughout the week to drop-in and housesit, provided I can fit it around my work schedule. I’m very flexible! I’m ready to handle any special dietary requirements (including cooking), as well as medication needs. I’m comfortable with crating dogs and/or banishing cats to a certain part of the residence. I have a bunch of little escape artists, so I’m always careful to account for everyone and keep the space organized.

About: I have always loved animals. When I was nine years old I found 5 puppies under a shed - without a mother. I carried them home to get them to a safe environment. I brought many lost dogs and cats home. I am also American Red Cross CPR certified for dogs and cats. Your dog or cat is a very important member of your family !! I will do everything necessary to keep them safe in my care. I retired from nursing and teaching January 2026. I spend time with my grandchildren but looking to spend more time with dogs and/or cats. I have a flexible schedule. I have a friendly dog Noway and live in an apartment with my husband Mark. We also have a dog park close by. Noway is a gentle sweet dog. He loves people and dogs.

She took the time to build trust with Eoshi, and it was clear from her updates that she genuinely cared about his well-being. When we returned home, Eoshi was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. He ate well, enjoyed plenty of walks, and seemed completely comfortable with Brooke. We were especially happy to see that they developed such a great bond while we were away. Brooke also took exceptional care of our home. Everything was spotless when we returned, and she even started a load of laundry with the bed linens before leaving, which was such a thoughtful gesture. About: Doggy Mama of 10 years for my sweet Wheaten Terrier, Suki! I have been with her for all stages of life: curious puppy, energetic teenager, and mellow adult. This has taught me how to adjust towards whatever needs your pet may have. No matter the attention your furry friend needs— whether it be downtime and cuddles, or zoomies and long walks— I am here to provide! I can administer medication, and will easily adapt to the schedule/routine that your pet requires. I am a sophomore student at San Diego State University, majoring in Criminal Justice. I have classes Monday-Thursday starting at 12:00pm and ending by 4:00pm. I live on campus and have a car so transportation is not an issue. I am able to pet sit at anytime throughout the week that I don’t have classes- and am willing to stay over night and/or through the weekends. Caring for your companion will vary depending on personality and routine but there are definitely some core principles that I carry with me. First one being respect— respect of your home, respect of your animals needs and wants, and respect of your time. I will be present as much as I can be, even if that means just sitting in the same room as them. Another core value, depending on your pet, is exercise. It doesn’t matter if it’s a long walk, a short and slow walk, or even just interacting with toys— something that gets them moving and keeps them entertained. And a big one is love, I promise to absolutely adore your animal and show them kindness in whatever ways they need. That could look like self care: brushing their coat, massaging stiff joints. That could look like affection: rubbing on them, talking to them, and making sure they know i’m here for them. And that could also mean giving them space. Any adjustment that I can make to give you and your pet a smooth experience, I would love to do.

They immediately loved her upon meeting. Paige also was incredible communicative and flexible with our schedules. She provided regular updates and adjusted quickly when one of our dogs needed medicine daily unexpectedly. Would absolutely recommend Paige!!
From the moment I met Rhonda, I knew she would be a great fit for our pets. She asked thoughtful questions and brought a calm demeanor that our dog responded well to. She communicated while we were away. When we got home, our pets were calm and happy. Lovely to work with!
Lauren was great to work with. She came and did a meet and greet prior to watching our doggie, which was so helpful to show her our dog's daily routine and get them comfortable with each other. She gave updates throughout the day and some photos which I loved. Hoping to use her again very soon!

Maureen has taken care of our fur babies and few times now. We wouldn't trust anyone else to do so now. Our two dogs get so excited when they see her. They know there will be extra walks, lots of attention, and plenty of snuggles. She spoils our kitties! They love her and know she loves them too. We love the twice a day reports and pictures! Crystal was terrific with our 2 dogs - I think they were disappointed when we came home. This is our first time using Rover, and Crystal had positive reviews from other pet owners, and we can't agree more. She was friendly and accommodating with us, and she had a genuine enthusiasm and affinity with our dogs. During our trip, she sent texts, photos, and videos. Our minds were eased as we saw how happy our dogs were with her. We were able to relax and enjoy our short vacation knowing that they were safe and genuinely well-cared for by Crystal.
Mariah was truly amazing. I was gone for 5 days and my dog started coughing seriously the 3rd day. She kept me informed by text including video, and, on her own contacted the Rover veterinarian (I didn't now there is one!) for advice which was very helpful. We ultimately decided she should take him to Urgent Care which she did willingly. She sat with the vet while they called me on the phone and she made very clear notes for me to use on my return. Mariah was up with Joey in the middle of the night for two nights - and after visiting Urgent Care, she gave him medicine at 3AM. And, when I talked to her, she seemed much more concerned with interrupting my vacation than that she was losing sleep and having to do more than expected. She sounded so loving to Joey the entire time - and thought her way through a number of possibilities to relieve Joey's distress. AND when she left, she had washed the sheets and towels and the house was as clean as when I left. I could not have expected more from anyone. She was absolutely terrific - and I am so grateful.

Isabella came through for me last minute, was always on time, very respectful, sent me updates, and rosey was so happy to have her. Milla did a wonderful job watching over my two elderly dogs. She was very friendly, quick to respond and sent me photo updates which I greatly appreciated.
