I have been on-and-off pet and house sitting for friends while they’re away, and now I’m bringing that love and care to Rover. I’m available to stop by and check on your pets early morning around 6-8am, or later in the afternoon (after 4pm), in the evening, or at night on weekdays. About: I have had my dog for over 6 years now, his name is Max and he is a Caucasian Shepherd/Ovcharka mix. He's a very big boy, I would add my old dog Sammy, he was a Beegle, but I was too young to care for him nor remember him all too well, but I will always remember the love I had and still have for him. I am a primary caregiver for some of my friends and family for their pets as well, I did not want to be compensated, they convinced me to make an account on here. I'm currently working semi full-time, meaning I am marked as a full-time worker, but they are not giving me my full hours so my time shifts from week to week. That is why I would like to be contacted a week in advance so, I can properly manage my schedule from week to week, whether it be house sitting, walking or just hanging out with the little fur dudes and dudettes. I can not provide in-home care as my current living situation can not provide a safe environment. Hopefully this will change soon, but I can provide a safe, clean and loving environment in comfort of your home since going to new places can be stressful depending on the pup or cat.

About: Ive taken care of many sized dogs. Ive also volunteered at a local dog rescue. Ive helped foster and administer medications. Ive worked with shy and energetic dogs Im currently a college student who has one class in person on Mondays and Wednesdays but other than that my schedule is open and flexible! I keep an eye on all dogs, making sure fences are closed and no way to run away, I also love to keep them company and allow them to come with me wherever I go.

About: I have cared for dogs of various breeds and sizes since my family adopted a lab/golden retriever mix named Sandy when I was 8 years old. I have provided both drop-in and overnight care, paying close attention to each animal’s (and home’s) unique needs and preferences. I am a lifelong animal lover and care for each pet as if it were my own. In addition to caring for my two cats, Obi and Oscar, and working as a public relations consultant, I also work part-time at a spay/neuter clinic and have experience giving oral and injectable medications, subcutaneous fluids, inhalers, and insulin. I have also taken a safe animal handling course through SD Humane Society and am a regular volunteer with Orphan Kitten Club’s foster kittens (and occasional foster puppies). In addition to dogs and cats, my personal pets have included a range of reptiles, fish, and small rodents, and I’m happy to care for any other pets in your home as well. I know for many pet owners, myself included, our pets are our family. I consider it an honor to care for your furry (or scaly) “kids.” I primarily work as a public relations consultant and work remotely. My schedule is flexible aside from Tuesdays and Fridays where I work part-time at a spay/neuter clinic. On those days I’m available before 9 am or after 5:30 pm. I am happy to do early morning visits as needed, as I’m used to working on an east coast schedule (starting at 6 am because it’s 9 am on the east coast.) I will closely follow your pet’s typical schedule and your guidelines for their care (ex://crating, muzzling, free access—whatever is your pet’s norm). I want to make their care as close to what they’d receive when you’re home as possible. I am not able to board pets in my own home.

About: I’ve cared for dogs for over 10 years, growing up with big breeds and also sitting smaller dogs. I’ve provided overnight care and always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m available all day on weekends and on weekdays after 3 PM once I finish school. I have a flexible schedule and can provide consistent care, walks, playtime, feeding, and overnight stays as needed. In my home, I follow a consistent feeding schedule and make sure my dogs get regular exercise, including trips to the park. I always ensure they have bathroom access, supervision, and a safe, comfortable environment.

About: I’ve had pets all my life! We recently said goodbye to our favorite pup, Cali, who I had for 6 years and loved having rover buds. I pet sit for friends and neighbors and love going on long walks. There is nothing like the company of a furry friend and an excuse to get my steps in :). My philosophy: patience and respecting your pet’s boundaries is important. I aim to match their energy and ensure they’re happy and comfortable. My partner Kevin and I work from home full time and have a flexible schedule to accommodate walks throughout the day and of course play time and snuggle time. This also means there is always someone home to keep our pup guests company. Additionally, I live in a quiet neighborhood great for walks and all the smells on sniffari. Before accepting any new Rover guests, we have a short meet & greet to ensure your pets are comfortable. We currently have a very large yard perfect for sniffing and exploring. The neighborhood is quiet and great for long walks. I also strive to maintain your pup’s regular schedule as closely as possible—so let me know any quirks, routines, triggers to be mindful of. Interaction with other animals can be limited at your request.

About: We are a team! You get both of us! lol We both grew up with dogs and Vannessa also grew up with a cat. We affectionately refer to all dogs of all ages as puppies. We really want a dog but we can’t yet commit to the life they deserve so as long as their human and the puppy allow us to love on them, we gratefully do so! We are very attentive, follow common sense and all the house rules provided for the pup or pups, we send pictures and videos, and provide updates. We love your puppies as if they were our own. You can have the peace of mind and enjoy your difficult time away from them knowing they are being really well taken care of! Whatever questions you may have, please ask! We’re very open communicators Our schedule is fairly flexible. Rest assured once you’ve confirmed dates and times with us, we will be there. Even though it hasn’t happened but IF we cannot make it (which would be for an emergency or something urgent like a Doctor’s appointment that can’t work around that time) we give you as much notice as we possibly can. We only care for pets at your home. We are not allowed to have pets at our apartment. As far as how we care for your pets, always lovingly. Whether you have a strict routine for them, casual schedule, or just follow their lead—we do what you ask of us. If there is something we don’t feel comfortable with, we communicate with you and you let us know how you want to proceed. It’s really important to us we all communicate well with each other.
