I love dogs and cats and I have cared for my own cockapoo from when she was a puppy to fourteen unforgettable years with her everlasting puppy energy! I’ve also lived with extended family for 3 years and helped care for three dogs: two shih tzu/maltese dogs and an energetic, adorable yorkie! I have added a new puppy to my family over the last few years and now have another cockapoo, so I have extensive experience caring for little pups! I usually end my work days between 4:00-4:30pm and I am also flexible on the weekends :) For drop-in visits and dog walks: Please be as specific as possible for how you would like me to care for your pet! Include information such as where to find their food, bowls, treats, harness, leash, potty pads, cleaning supplies, etc. Please also be transparent and let me know of any external or in-home cameras. My fully fenced in backyard makes backyard trips convenient and safe, and my neighborhood offers many sidewalks and parks to safely walk my more active friends.

About: I have had a family dog my whole life. My current pup is a 2year old mini goldendoodle that is about 25lbs. He is high energy and loves play time, long walks and going to the dog park. I work remote full time so I am home with my dog the majority of my day. Any pet in my care would get the same treatment as my own. Multiple walks, a trip to the park and of course regular feedings. My pet is free to roam my apartment, I have a balcony that he also has free access to during the day. I keep the door open for him.

Previously, I was a middle school teacher—since transitioning to a remote job, I have been actively providing pet sitting and care on Rover for over a year and a half across NYC & San Diego. Being a former educator has inspired my approach that is rooted in the golden rule: I care for your pets the way I want my fur babies to be treated, which is with heartfelt care, one tail at a time. Glimpses of my teacher-side still exist, especially since I have been training our mini aussies since she they both were 9 weeks old. I’m more than happy to informally train/reinforce prior training your pup already has. I WFH and my core working hours are 10-3 pm M-F, but my schedule is extremely flexible. I am also typically free on the weekends and holidays as well. I have experience with DIY dog/cat enrichment & playtime indoors, informal training, and crating (as needed or requested). I also have experience administering meds to both stubborn cats and dogs. While we’re not quite ready to adopt again, we would truly love to share that love with your pup. My husband and I have a calm, dog-free home, which allows us to give your dog our full attention in a peaceful, low-stress environment. We have a special place in our hearts for senior dogs and those who may need gentler care, but we love pups of all ages. Your dog’s days will include two walks (adjusted for age and energy level), playtime or cozy downtime, treats with your approval, and lots of affection and belly rubs. We have a patio with grass they can go potty anytime :) I have a cozy and fenced patio. They can sit and lay out by the sun. I also have a grassy area for potty breaks anytime the want.

We also have two kids (15 and 12) who are gentle, respectful, and love spending time with dogs. Whether your pup wants to play, nap, or just be near people, we create a comfortable, easygoing environment where they can settle in and feel safe. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I work from home and am with my dog, Sunshine, all day. Dogs in my care are rarely left alone and can spend the day hanging out with me, getting attention, and going in and out of the yard as they like. Our routine is pretty low-key and flexible, so I’m able to adjust to each dog’s needs—whether that’s more playtime, rest, or sticking to a specific schedule. Walks, feeding, and outdoor time are all built into the day, and evenings are calm with the whole family around. Because this is already how our home operates, adding another dog feels very natural and not like a disruption to our routine. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. Since I work from home, they get plenty of attention throughout the day and are rarely left alone. Dogs are free to relax inside, spend time with us, or play in our fully fenced yard.
