Hi! My name is Kiara and I am a fully remote worker with no pets and a quiet, clean space to spend time with your baby - focusing on one dog at a time to ensure quality attention and care can be provided. I am an experienced dog owner who lost my baby, Shiloh 🐾🪽🤍, after 13 years. Since Shiloh’s passing, I haven’t felt ready to commit to owning another dog full-time. However, I have been big sister/cousin to other dogs over many years and have loved on various breeds, sizes, and personalities. I am particularly experienced in providing calm, laidback environments for furry family and friends, ensuring both pup and I feel at ease with our time together.

Kiara is an AMAZING sitter! Great communication and sends lots of pictures and updates, which we really appreciated. We could tell our pup was very happy, safe, and well taken care of by her and her family. Will definitely book with Kiara again!
Very communicative and very reassuring! Her place is the coziest for Papi and I can tell our pup really enjoyed it and was able to make himself at home there!
We couldn’t ask for a better experience for Cheddar! We went out of town for 5 days and Kiara took amazing care of our elderly dog in her home. She sent photos and updates daily, letting us know about how he ate, what activities they did, and how he slept. Kiara was eager to make his stay very comfortable! My family had a better time on our trip knowing Cheddar was in such loving hands.
Kiara was amazing. She clearly spent a lot of time with our dog, both at home and outside. They have a nice backyard where our guy had a blast exploring. Kiara is very attentive. She noticed our dog’s eyes were slightly red and checked in with us. Fortunately it was just that our man was tired from the excitement but we really appreciate her care and concern. She also sends regular updates and photos. 10/10 would recommend her.
Kiara was amazing she communicated the whole time and sent pictures during his stay. He got a ton of play time with her and her family. She also kept up with his home schedule which we appreciate so much. Apollo will definitely be back.
Kiara is truly a second dog mom! If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like family and make them feel completely at home, she is the one. She already had everything set up a playpen, bowls, toys so Mylo was comfortable from the moment he arrived. She was extremely accommodating and reassuring, which meant a lot to me since this was my first time being away from my puppy. She kept me updated throughout the day and sent so many pictures, which honestly put my mind at ease. You can tell she genuinely cares and isn’t just “watching” your dog she’s really taking care of them and making them feel like one of her own. Mylo looked like he was having the best time, and I felt completely comfortable leaving him with her. Kiara is so sweet, attentive, and professional. I’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future!

Schedule
My work grants me the ability to love on and closely monitor the dog(s) I choose to spend time with in the comfort of my home. I have the flexibility to not only give lots of TLC, but also take them for walks or play in my backyard. I have a healthy work/life balance that avails the opportunity to make time to brighten a pup’s day, giving you some free time and me some added canine joy.

Safety, trust & environment
While your pup will have open space in my home to explore, I have a safety gate to block off stairs as needed, and an enclosed indoor play area with bowls, toys, and enough room for you to bring their crate / bed. My fully fenced in backyard makes backyard trips convenient and safe, and my neighborhood offers many sidewalks and parks to safely walk my more active friends. Additionally, there is an enclosed dog park right across the street!
A typical day
During your pup’s time with me, you can expect a nice balance between rest and play guided by your own routine you follow at home. I enjoy actively playing inside with toys, or playing fetch outside in my backyard. I will take him / her on 1-2 walks a day, make time for games of tug o’ war or fetch, and offer puzzles for mental stimulation. Should you have a more laidback dog who likes to just chill or cuddle, I maintain a cozy environment to lounge around and nap. Generally, energy burning activities are followed up with an invitation to lounge around inside my cozy environment until they’re ready to play again!

- In addition to the 1:1 care I offer, I have a big family that absolutely loves when our doggy friends come over! We have no pets of our own, so my children look forward to each visit with excitement and a bit of sadness when it’s time for pups to go back home. With everyone’s safety in mind, I like to know the breed, size, and temperament of each dog I establish care for so I can make my family aware ahead of visits. I limit bookings to small and medium-sized dogs without a history of aggression. As an added caution, I accept one dog per booking, and will not have more than one dog in my care at a time.
