About: I’m mama to four crazy cats: Mark, Quid, Star, and Wally. They’re the most recent squad in a long line of kitties ( + one doggy!) that came before. I’m very comfortable around sassy pets, as well as ones with special diets or medication needs. I took care of my Delia doggy for 3 years, with all her rambunctious walks and homemade meals. I’m currently working part-time evenings in La Mesa, typically 3:00p-8:30p at the most. I am off work and completely free on Mon/Tue/, but I am available throughout the week to drop-in and housesit, provided I can fit it around my work schedule. I’m very flexible! I’m ready to handle any special dietary requirements (including cooking), as well as medication needs. I’m comfortable with crating dogs and/or banishing cats to a certain part of the residence. I have a bunch of little escape artists, so I’m always careful to account for everyone and keep the space organized.

She took the time to build trust with Eoshi, and it was clear from her updates that she genuinely cared about his well-being. When we returned home, Eoshi was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. He ate well, enjoyed plenty of walks, and seemed completely comfortable with Brooke. We were especially happy to see that they developed such a great bond while we were away. Brooke also took exceptional care of our home. Everything was spotless when we returned, and she even started a load of laundry with the bed linens before leaving, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would absolutely trust Brooke with Eoshi again in the future. Highly recommend!”

About: I have always loved animals. When I was nine years old I found 5 puppies under a shed - without a mother. I carried them home to get them to a safe environment. I brought many lost dogs and cats home. I am also American Red Cross CPR certified for dogs and cats. Your dog or cat is a very important member of your family !! I will do everything necessary to keep them safe in my care. I retired from nursing and teaching January 2026. I spend time with my grandchildren but looking to spend more time with dogs and/or cats. I have a flexible schedule. I have a friendly dog Noway and live in an apartment with my husband Mark. We also have a dog park close by. Noway is a gentle sweet dog. He loves people and dogs.
About: Doggy Mama of 10 years for my sweet Wheaten Terrier, Suki! I have been with her for all stages of life: curious puppy, energetic teenager, and mellow adult. This has taught me how to adjust towards whatever needs your pet may have. No matter the attention your furry friend needs— whether it be downtime and cuddles, or zoomies and long walks— I am here to provide! I can administer medication, and will easily adapt to the schedule/routine that your pet requires. I am a sophomore student at San Diego State University, majoring in Criminal Justice. I have classes Monday-Thursday starting at 12:00pm and ending by 4:00pm. I live on campus and have a car so transportation is not an issue. I am able to pet sit at anytime throughout the week that I don’t have classes- and am willing to stay over night and/or through the weekends. Caring for your companion will vary depending on personality and routine but there are definitely some core principles that I carry with me. First one being respect— respect of your home, respect of your animals needs and wants, and respect of your time. I will be present as much as I can be, even if that means just sitting in the same room as them. Another core value, depending on your pet, is exercise. It doesn’t matter if it’s a long walk, a short and slow walk, or even just interacting with toys— something that gets them moving and keeps them entertained. And a big one is love, I promise to absolutely adore your animal and show them kindness in whatever ways they need. That could look like self care: brushing their coat, massaging stiff joints. That could look like affection: rubbing on them, talking to them, and making sure they know i’m here for them. And that could also mean giving them space. Any adjustment that I can make to give you and your pet a smooth experience, I would love to do.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. I had 2 labs and a German Shepard growing up. I currently help dog sit and walk my neighbors dogs and my schedule is extremely flexible I currently have an extremely flexible schedule so I can work Monday through Sunday and I am willing to work with anyone on fitting my schedule around their needs. I currently live in a small ADU Unit in a backyard that is fenced off from my neighbors who own two friendly dogs, due to how small my unit is I would prefer to stay at a clients home if I needed to dogsit overnight!

About: I’ve taken care of animals for over 14 years. Friends, neighbors, family, friends of friends, I’ve spent 20+ weekends a year house/pet sitting, and have averaged 3 dog walks a week for the last 3 years. I also have my Dog, Cat, and Pet First Aid Certificate as well as my Pet CPR Training Certificate from American Red Cross. Right now, I’m taking online courses for my profession. Paige was absolutely incredible. She house sat for my sister and our dogs. One super high energy, one a little more temperamental and needing lots of love. She met both of their needs so well. They immediately loved her upon meeting. Paige also was incredible communicative and flexible with our schedules. She provided regular updates and adjusted quickly when one of our dogs needed medicine daily unexpectedly. Would absolutely recommend Paige!!
We had a great experience with Galina. She took wonderful care of our dog and cat, and they seemed very comfortable and happy with her. We really appreciated the regular updates and photos while we were away as it’s always so nice knowing everyone was doing well. We came home to happy animals and a house that was clean and well cared for. We would absolutely recommend her and would be happy to have her pet sit for us again!
Jack is SO GREAT. One of my dogs is a mean little barky boy, and Jack was so patient with him. After a few hours, my dog became so comfortable with Jack he was laying in his lap, demanding belly rubs. Since, I’ve had Jack back again to watch the dogs, and he’s a great houseguest. Very courteous, so responsible, and great at communicating. My pups can’t wait to have him back!
Chai did an AMAZING job watching our dog, cat, and house! Our dog had to have an unplanned surgery shortly before our trip, but Chai took it all in stride. She dealt with medications, a cone, puppy pajamas, exercise restrictions, and gave us plenty of updates, despite our 9 hour time difference. She left the house very clean, and the plants much happier and healthier than when we left them. She was thoughtful, communicative, and put us at ease on our long trip away from the fur babies. We would definitely ask Chai to come back! 😊
Lauren was great to work with. She came and did a meet and greet prior to watching our doggie, which was so helpful to show her our dog's daily routine and get them comfortable with each other. She gave updates throughout the day and some photos which I loved. Hoping to use her again very soon!

Crystal was terrific with our 2 dogs - I think they were disappointed when we came home.
