About: I have always loved dogs and cats. When I was nine years old I found 5 puppies under a shed - tragically their mother was deceased beside them. I carried them home to get them to a safe environment. I brought many lost dogs and cats home. They have a very special place in my heart. I am also American Red Cross CPR certified for dogs and cats. Your dog or cat is a very important member of your family !! I will do everything necessary to keep them safe in my care. I retired from nursing and teaching January 2026. I spend time with my grandchildren but looking to spend more time with dogs and/or cats. I have a flexible schedule. I have a friendly dog Noway and live in an apartment with my husband Mark. We also have a dog park close by. Noway is a gentle sweet dog. He loves people and dogs.
“Paige is wonderful with my dog, who has leash anxiety. As our regular dog walker, she is always punctual and communicative. On our first visit, Paige took the time to ask thoughtful questions about his triggers, routines, allergies, treats, and do’s and don’ts before starting. She handled him calmly and patiently, making safety and positive interactions a clear priority. I really appreciated how attentive and understanding she is, which gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in caring, capable hands. Highly recommend!”

“Nora came over to play with my two dogs while I was away for the day. She was responsible, trustworthy and easy to communicate with. The dogs were so happy when I came home. Would definitely book with Nora again!”

About: I'm a responsible and caring pet lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I have a dog of my own who I have had for over a year, which has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding each pet's unique needs. I'm also comfortable with basic leash training and positive reinforcement techniques to help pets feel comfortable and well-behaved. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention and care. I treat every pet as if they were my own and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your adorable pet! Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine because I have a dog at home. Every day, I help with feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure my dog is comfortable and well cared for. As a college student, I have a flexible schedule and am looking for work that allows me to spend time doing something I genuinely enjoy. Caring for pets fits naturally into my week, and I am committed to providing reliable, attentive care while giving each pet the attention, exercise, and affection they need. I provide a safe, caring, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. In my client's home, I follow their pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special instructions. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while keeping their space clean and secure. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable and reduce any stress while their owner is away. I also provide regular updates with photos and messages so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for. My goal is to treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable at all times.
“Jane was amazing. She responded quickly to my messages and was able to accommodate my short notice booking. She was also very sweet and drove my dog to the next neighborhood over to walk him because my neighborhood is not walkable!”

About: Full time pet care professional - your pets are my priority! I’ve never met a dog I didn’t love, and I can’t wait to meet yours! Every pet is unique, with their own personality, and I am excited to take care of them and earn their trust to become a reliable sitter that they enjoy seeing. Fast paced and playful or laid-back and lounging, conforming to your pets lifestyle is important to me - I also send updates at least once a day, as well as pictures, so you don’t miss your babies too much! About Me: As a full time sitter, I get lots of 1 on 1 time with my furry guests! I love having a head to pet or ball to throw throughout the day, and spend a majority of my time at home with my ever-growing, extended fur-family. I have extensive experience with fear-free basic training, including walk fundamentals, as well as trust building training and practices. I am also well versed in administering medications (liquid, pill, and subcutaneous) to pets with special needs and health conditions, including senior dogs (I love a frosted face!) I have a darling, 15 year old, Chinese Crested named Kovu who spends her golden years napping and welcoming her furry friends with a sniff and a shake. Having two special needs dogs in recent years, I know how hard it is to leave your little loves behind. I am also independently insured as a pet sitter, daycare provider, pet trainer, and pet taxi through Pet Care Insurance (PCI). About My Home: My home features a large, fenced-in yard on a quiet street with tons of space for pups to run around and play. When the weather allows, they’re given free rein of the inside and outside of my home. The maximum time a dog is ever alone in my home is 2 hours (when I need to grocery shop or go to an appointment), but there is always a dog-loving adult family member home in case of an unexpected emergency. I am not a sitter who boards as many pets as possible, as that is too stressful on the dogs and is not the kind of care I would want my baby to receive. I only allow up to 2 pet families to book on any day, and my rates reflect the individual attention, love, and calm environment that your pups receive in my care. I like to have a hands-on approach when pet sitting, and anything we can do together, we do together! Pups love coming over to my home because they know they’re in for a fun time!
“Susanne has done a great job with Rex and Riley. Rex always gets nervous with new people but she handled our big boy well, so calm and non threatening. We’ve booked her multiple times already and will continue to do so! 🤗”

About: I've had animals my whole life and taking primary care for them was one of my first "big kid" tasks and I couldn't have been more thrilled. Giving love, scritches, walks, and ball throws is what I live for. If I'm not covered in fur at the end of the day, did it even happen? I'm a part time working mom with a flexible schedule. I would love to give your dog or cat that mid-day break they might crave while you're stuck in the office trying to earn them a bigger backyard. I'm happy to care for your pets in the same way you would. If a quick walk and kennel is all your furry friend needs, sign me up! If you need a mid-afternoon litter scoop because your kitty is very particular about the state of her litter box, no problem! If you need ball throwing, cuddle time, or anything else to make your furball feel the love, then let me know.

As someone who understands the challenges of owning these incredible pets, I provide patient, confident and compassionate care without judgment. To me, pets are family and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m experienced in caring for senior pets and those with special needs, including administering medications, following detailed care instructions and maintaining consistent feeding and medication schedules. About: I've loved animals my whole life and treat them as I do my own children with much TLC. I feel animals are just as important and need care as much as we do. They are the most genuine and purest form of love and friendship one can endure. I used to run a infant and toddler home daycare and now I'm interested in expanding my pet sitting business. I have more free time as I've closed the home business and venturing out in pet care. I prefer care in the owner's home where the pets are most comfortable in their familiar environment. I will feed, pickup droppings, walk and snuggle.

“Whitney is a true pet lover. She is very thoughtful, communicative, and caring. Our dogs and I look forward to many future visits with her. Many thanks from everyone in our family, Whitney!”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience being around animals of all kinds and my genuine love for caring for them. From dogs and pigs to chickens and ducks, I’m very comfortable handling different personalities, routines, and needs. I started pet sitting for neighbors and family friends in high school, and over the years I’ve gained hands-on experience with walking, feeding, bathing, overnight care, and making pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I truly enjoy spending quality time with animals, whether that means energetic playtime or relaxing cuddles on the couch. I currently work full time Monday to Friday, but I have the flexibility to leave should I need to do a drop by throughout the day. I currently provide care in my client’s home, where I make it a priority to not only care for your pets, but also respect and maintain your space. I carefully follow all instructions and routines to ensure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Communication is very important to me, so I will always reach out with any questions or updates to make sure your pets receive the best care possible. My goal is to leave both your pets happy and your home just as clean as when I arrived.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - San Carlos
Caity was absolutely wonderful with Louie! She was so attentive and kept us updated on his itchy paws and sensitive tummy. She even went out of her way to apply his paw mousse and found ways to keep him happy and entertained on those super hot days. I really trusted her with Louie and felt so comfortable knowing he was in great hands. Would definitely recommend Caity and will absolutely book her again!

Kat was amazing! She was quick to respond, gave thoughtful report cards, very kind, on time, and our large lab was so excited to see her every morning and was tired when he came home (even after only 30 minutes). Highly recommend, especially for large dogs, and we’ll definitely rebook again!
Sage has been walking Margot for a few years now and is AMAZING. 👏 Margot’s heel has improved so much. I used to not be able to walk her in public spaces out of fear of her pulling me or reacting to other dogs and now I’m able to walk her in some of the busiest of walkways and she stays in a heel. Sage is also a great communicator and always sends me a little blurb debriefing how the walk went that day. I highly recommend Sage if you want your pup in great hands!!

Andrew is awesome! He’s such a fast walker so when he takes my dog on a walk it’s a WALK. My high energy pup always gets at least 2.5 miles in with Andrew and it helps so much on days that I am out of town. Andrew is also very detailed in his reports, responsive, and a pleasure work with
