About: Hi! My name is Kiara and I am a fully remote worker with no pets and a quiet, clean space to spend time with your baby - focusing on one dog at a time to ensure quality attention and care can be provided. I am an experienced dog owner who lost my baby, Shiloh 🐾🪽🤍, after 13 years. Since Shiloh’s passing, I haven’t felt ready to commit to owning another dog full-time. However, I have been big sister/cousin to other dogs over many years and have loved on various breeds, sizes, and personalities. I am particularly experienced in providing calm, laidback environments for furry family and friends, ensuring both pup and I feel at ease with our time together. My work grants me the ability to love on and closely monitor the dog(s) I choose to spend time with in the comfort of my home. I have the flexibility to not only give lots of TLC, but also take them for walks or play in my backyard. I have a healthy work/life balance that avails the opportunity to make time to brighten a pup’s day, giving you some free time and me some added canine joy. While your pup will have open space in my home to explore, I have a safety gate to block off stairs as needed, and a designated comfort area for smaller dogs with a playpen, bed, bowls, and toys. My fully fenced in backyard makes backyard trips convenient and safe, and my neighborhood offers many sidewalks and parks to safely walk my more active friends.

About: I have over 15 years experience caring for pets of all kinds. I grew up living with large breed dogs in my home and have gained experiencing caring for dogs, cats, and other critters (birds, tortoises, rabbits, ferrets, etc.) all of sizes in my community as a trusted sitter and Humane Society volunteer. I have cared for dogs young and old, puppies who required constant care and seniors with mobility support needs. I am comfortable administering oral or topical medication and bathing dogs upon request and direction. I currently live with a curious 9 year old feline named Luna and am planning for our next four legged friend. Since moving to San Diego from the Bay Area, I’ve missed daily walks with my family’s dog, a Siberian Husky Malamute mix also named Luna, and cherish each opportunity I get to bring that care, joy, structure, and stimulation to a dog’s daily life. I look forward to being a loving, reliable human in your pet’s life. I have a flexible hybrid work schedule that allows for weekday drop ins and walks. If requesting house sitting during the week, please specify if a constant daytime presence in the home is desired. Trust and reliability are central to my work as a sitter and caregiver. As no two pets or homes are alike, it’s important to me to understand you and your pets’ unique needs and preferences and adapt my care accordingly. I am currently unemployed, I am going to school so my schedule is very open and flexible since I only have 1 to 2 classes a week that require me to go to campus. I have a fenced in yard with a friendly dog as well as a doggy door for access to the backyard and the house whenever they want. I have a large crate if needed as well.

About: I've had a variety of pets since I was little. I understand animals' body language and am well-adverse to many unique pet personalities and behaviors. I have experience working with reactive dogs, hyper-activity, Deaf and blind animals (my dog is Deaf and knows sign language!), medication and illness with pets, and more. I'm also understanding of different needs or specific routines to be followed for pets to feel comfortable. Whether your pup needs a walk and the bearded dragon needs to be fed, or the cat needs a clean litter box and the fish tank needs a skim, I'm here for you and all your fur (or scale) babies! My schedule is flexible currently. I recently moved back home to San Diego and have plenty of availability. I do have two large dogs of my own as well as a cat and will need to take care of them as well if house-sitting. I am aware of animals' body language and their need for routine. I will respect this and their specific needs (hand-signals, cue words, walking preferences, etc.). I can co-exist from a distance or offer lots of snuggles and playtime depending on your pets preferences. I can provide baths and maintain training if you're working on house training or pulling while walking.
