“Honestly, Alyssa was amazing. She definitely helped me out last minute and she was completely understanding. She took care of my baby while I was away and I could tell that he was a good hands. I will definitely be using her again.”

“Jason is fantastic! I can’t recommend him enough! Our cattle dog Ruby stayed with Jason for three weeks while we were abroad and she was so happy and well cared for. Jason and his family showered her with love, daily walks, and top-notch care. Ruby can be shy and nervous, but she took to Jason right away, he is a true dog whisperer. Jason is fantastic with communication and really easy to work with. He was able to accommodate an oversight on my part and adjust our dates last minute, we greatly appreciated the flexibility! We are so thankful to have found Jason and will certainly use him again as our favorite pet sitter!”

“Whitney could not be any sweeter or more energetic, and her family could not be any more precious! Thank you for taking such great care of Molly, she had a blast staying with you guys:)”

“Hana is an outstanding dog sitter and is legitimately a dog whisperer. My pup can be a bit tough to get to open up and she was so patient with him and knew how to best help him feel comfortable. We received pictures and/or videos daily which was such a nice treat and put our minds at ease while we were away. We will absolutely use Hana again!”

“Our second family. There’s no one else i trust more than Amalia, Mary and the entire family. They know my boy just as well as I do and that’s means so much especially when im going out of town. Love you guys! 💕💕💕”

“It was our goofy guy’s second time staying with Jocy, and he was so excited to see her again! We could tell he had such a great time with her this stay too, and she is super attentive to his needs and his personality. We loved all the photo updates. We will definitely be using her services for any future traveling we do. :)”

“A great experience all around. Our girl Maya stayed with Ami and her family for three nights. Ami was very communicative and sent updates with pictures every day, which I really appreciated. Once we picked her up, Maya was content and ready for a nap. Oh and Ami's dog Coco is a sweetheart 💖 The first day she greeted Maya with lots of waggy tails and friendly sniffs. If you're looking to board your dog, I highly recommend Ami and her family. They made us feel very comfortable, starting with the meet and greet and through Maya's stay.”

“Kylie & Anthony’s family were easy to work with and they took great care of our dog over Christmas week. They clearly love dogs and take the time to learn each dogs personality. They were flexible when our flight was three hours late.”

“Shelby and her family were super nice and I could tell they gave my dogs lots of attention. She communicated great and sent daily pictures. My dogs loved all the outside time they got. Would book again!!”

“It was our first time using Rover and we were a little nervous! Sam was easy to communicate with. He has a great set up at his house and a good group of dogs he cares for on a regular basis. He sent pictures and updates of Cali throughout the weekend and we came home to a healthy, happy, tired pup. Would definitely recommend and will absolutely book again.”

“Kiara was amazing she communicated the whole time and sent pictures during his stay. He got a ton of play time with her and her family. She also kept up with his home schedule which we appreciate so much. Apollo will definitely be back.”

“Linda Jean is everything you could hope for in a Rover sitter. She took wonderful care of Lucy and gave detailed updates along with photos. Lucy was happy and comfortable when we picked her up. We’d love to have Linda Jean sit for us again.”

“Yukiko took wonderful care of my dog. She’s definitely a dog lover with a lot of experience caring for many different types of dogs. She’s very kind and respectful and I plan on booking Yukiko again in the near future. I would definitely recommend her. I’m so glad I found you Yukiko!”

“Marwa was great and sent pics for a daily update on how my dog was doing. She responded quick to my messages when I checked in which I really appreciated. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Shakyra did a fantastic job, she took great care of our family member, our dog Riley. It was her first time away from home over night. We got a good update and when I went to pick her up the next morning she was calm and relaxed. Shakyra is very pleasant and communicative that alone put us at ease. She get 5 stars from us. Definitely use her again.”

“Todd and Bill took Lenny in and made him feel at home immediately. Lenny can be a difficult and rambunctious pup, and he didn't phase them one bit. They sent great photos and videos throughout and stayed in close touch. 6 stars!! Thank you!!”

“Savanah was so caring to our 16 year old dog, Zulu. Unfortunately, our senior dog requires extra attention due to his dementia and separation anxiety. Savanah showed compassion and made every effort to care for Zulu and make him feel comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Thank you, Savanah for everything! We really appreciate it.”

“Madalyn is a sweet and gentle person who was a very sensitive caregiver to my older cat after we moved into a new home and I had to travel for a few days. He needed that kind of kindness and support to ease his stress in moving across the country. We were incredibly fortunate to find Madalyn for this and she was 110% reliable. Thank you Madalyn!!”

“Caity is a wonderful cat sitter. Kind, patient communicative, and thorough, she took incredible care of our beloved cat, Kuma, over 2 days. She took the time to get to know Kuma and make him comfortable with her presence. She quickly read his moods and needs, and made Kuma's first extended stint alone as easy as possible for both him and us - going well above and beyond what we had hoped. She sent us multiple fantastic photos and a report on how he was doing each visit - very comforting for two first-time cat owners. We'd work with her again in a heartbeat and are so happy to have found Caity!”

“Took such good care of our two kitties! Sent plenty of pictures, played with them a bunch, and always kept us up to speed with how they’re doing. Will be having her watch our cats again and would highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I'm a dedicated cat mom to my two boys, Benny and Ellie. As any cat parent knows, every cat is an individual with their own unique "rules." Whether your kitty is a social butterfly who demands chin scratches or a shy observer who needs their space respected, I am here to provide the specialized care they deserve. Why I’m your cat’s new best friend: Harness & Adventure Experienced: I regularly take my own cats on harness walks, so I am comfortable with outdoor enrichment and safety gear. Expert in Enrichment: From feather-wand play sessions to sunbathing spots, I make sure your cat isn't just fed, but engaged and happy. Medical & Specialized Care: I’m experienced with administering medications and maintaining strict dietary routines. The "Slow Approach": I understand cat body language. I know how to win over a timid cat with patience and a "slow blink" rather than rushing in. Peace of Mind for You: Because I work from home, I can offer consistent check-ins and the one thing cats love most: a predictable routine. You’ll receive detailed updates and plenty of photos of your feline friend looking majestic (or mid-zoomie!).
About: I have over 15 years experience caring for pets of all kinds. I am comfortable administering oral or topical medication and bathing dogs upon request and direction. I currently live with a curious 9 year old feline named Luna and am planning for our next four legged friend. Since moving to San Diego from the Bay Area, I’ve missed daily walks with my family’s dog, a Siberian Husky Malamute mix also named Luna, and cherish each opportunity I get to bring that care, joy, structure, and stimulation to a dog’s daily life. Safety, trust, and wellness are my top priorities when engaging with your pet. It is important to me to honor each pet’s unique needs, personality, and boundaries with each meeting. I look forward to being a loving, reliable human in your pet’s life. I have a flexible hybrid work schedule that allows for weekday drop ins and walks. If requesting house sitting during the week, please specify if a constant daytime presence in the home is desired. Trust and reliability are central to my work as a sitter and caregiver. About: Hi! My name is Kiara and I am a fully remote worker with no pets and a quiet, clean space to spend time with your baby - focusing on one dog at a time to ensure quality attention and care can be provided. I am an experienced dog owner who lost my baby, Shiloh 🐾🪽🤍, after 13 years. Since Shiloh’s passing, I haven’t felt ready to commit to owning another dog full-time. However, I have been big sister/cousin to other dogs over many years and have loved on various breeds, sizes, and personalities. I am particularly experienced in providing calm, laidback environments for furry family and friends, ensuring both pup and I feel at ease with our time together. My work grants me the ability to love on and closely monitor the dog(s) I choose to spend time with in the comfort of my home. I have the flexibility to not only give lots of TLC, but also take them for walks or play in my backyard. I have a healthy work/life balance that avails the opportunity to make time to brighten a pup’s day, giving you some free time and me some added canine joy. While your pup will have open space in my home to explore, I have a safety gate to block off stairs as needed, and a designated comfort area for smaller dogs with a playpen, bed, bowls, and toys. My fully fenced in backyard makes backyard trips convenient and safe, and my neighborhood offers many sidewalks and parks to safely walk my more active friends.
About: Hi, I’m Michelle. I’m a longtime dog owner with over 16 years of experience, and I recently returned to Rover after taking a few years’ hiatus to care for our senior pup full-time. We recently said goodbye to our sweet girl, Mika, who was with us for 16.5 wonderful years. Caring for her taught us so much about patience, comfort, and the extra love senior dogs need. While we’re not quite ready to adopt again, we would truly love to share that love with your pup. My husband and I have a calm, dog-free home, which allows us to give your dog our full attention in a peaceful, low-stress environment. We have a special place in our hearts for senior dogs and those who may need gentler care, but we love pups of all ages. Your dog’s days will include two walks (adjusted for age and energy level), playtime or cozy downtime, treats with your approval, and lots of affection and belly rubs. I also provide photo updates and check-ins so you can feel confident your furry family member is happy and well cared for. My goal is simple: to make your dog feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away. A Few Things I’d Love to Know To provide the best care possible, please let me know: • Any special needs or medical considerations • If your dog experiences separation anxiety • Feeding schedule, diet, medications, or allergies • Their daily routine and energy level • Favorite comforts, routines, or quirks Important Note Extended stay: An additional $25 day rate applies if pick-up is over the 24-hour period. Your pup will get plenty of attention. We can go for walks and have some play time. Ofcourse (if your pet is older we will go for shorter walks) They’ll get treats and belly rubs. We have a patio with grass they can go potty anytime :) I have a cozy and fenced patio. They can sit and lay out by the sun. I also have a grassy area for potty breaks anytime the want.
About: We’re a dog-loving family of four offering a calm, safe place for your pup to feel at home. I’ve had dogs since I was 10, so caring for them is second nature, and your dog will be treated like part of the family while they’re here. Our dog, Sunshine, is a 4-year-old Aussiedoodle who is incredibly sweet and great with other dogs. She can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly and loves having a buddy around. I work from home, so your dog will have plenty of attention throughout the day—whether that’s hanging out nearby, playing outside, or just relaxing. We have a fully fenced yard with real grass, lots of plants to sniff, and a sunny patio for lounging. Inside, our home is very low-key and relaxed. We also have two kids (15 and 12) who are gentle, respectful, and love spending time with dogs. Whether your pup wants to play, nap, or just be near people, we create a comfortable, easygoing environment where they can settle in and feel safe. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I work from home and am with my dog, Sunshine, all day. Dogs in my care are rarely left alone and can spend the day hanging out with me, getting attention, and going in and out of the yard as they like. Our routine is pretty low-key and flexible, so I’m able to adjust to each dog’s needs—whether that’s more playtime, rest, or sticking to a specific schedule. Walks, feeding, and outdoor time are all built into the day, and evenings are calm with the whole family around. Because this is already how our home operates, adding another dog feels very natural and not like a disruption to our routine. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. Since I work from home, they get plenty of attention throughout the day and are rarely left alone. Dogs are free to relax inside, spend time with us, or play in our fully fenced yard. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, and any specific instructions you provide.

“Whitney is one of the most comprehensive and attentive sitters I’ve gotten. Got loads of pictures and fantastic updates! Definitely a recommend and would love to have her take care of Terry again!”

“Susanee is an excellent dog sitter! She took great care of my dog, Zhuangzhuang, and there was also another Bernese dog for them to play with, which helped Zhuangzhuang burn off a lot of energy. Plus, Susanee has a large, fenced yard, perfect for active pets. Zhuangzhuang had a fantastic day!”

“Rebecca was amazing. I requested the night before, and she made room for Pancake the next day. She had an amazing time playing with the other dogs and kiddos at the house and came home to zonk out. Thank you so much for giving her such fun days!”

About: Hi there! I’m a proud cat mom to Benny and Ellie, who love sunbathing and harness walks, and I was also lucky to spend 13 years with my Lab/Shepard mix, Lulu. I understand the guilt and anxiety that can come with busy schedules or traveling, which is why I aim to be the kind of sitter who sends lots of updates, photos, and love. I work from home full-time, which allows me to offer flexible scheduling, constant companionship, and attentive care. I provide house sitting, drop-ins, dog walking, and daycare services in my gated community with an enclosed patio, onsite dog park, and nearby hiking trails. Day Care Notes: • Pets must be current on flea/tick prevention, recently bathed, and comfortable around cats. • Meet & greets are required for pets with separation or social anxiety. • Daycare covers up to 8 hours; extended stays can be discussed. I work fully remote, which gives me the flexibility to plan my schedule around your pet’s needs! Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, playtime, or overnight care, I’m able to provide attentive and reliable care throughout the day. I have a gated patio where your fur baby can sunbathe and relax if they need some fresh air or they can enjoy roaming around my two level town home and hang out with my two cats who love to meet and befriend other animals.
“Every pet parent’s wish is that their fur child gets the same love and care at a sitter’s as they do at home. Ann provides exactly that. She is responsible (arranges meet and greets of all dogs she cares for) and adheres to all provided care instructions as well as send picture/video updates throughout the day. I love that dogs are allowed to roam free in her house as it provides a more “home-like” environment compared to other typical boarding facilities. She is great to communicate with regarding scheduling and understanding when emergencies come up. Ann has been my dog Ollie’s go to daycare and boarding service for the past two years. But honestly, she’s gone above and beyond to be more than that. Ollie enjoys spending time at her house and even gets invited to her dog’s birthday party every year. We honestly can’t recommend her enough!”

About: Hi there! :) I'm a 29 year old young professional using Rover in my spare time. I love dogs and cats and I have cared for my own cockapoo from when she was a puppy to fourteen unforgettable years with her everlasting puppy energy! I’ve also lived with extended family for 3 years and helped care for three dogs: two shih tzu/maltese dogs and an energetic, adorable yorkie! I have added a new puppy to my family over the last few years and now have another cockapoo, so I have extensive experience caring for little pups! From small cockapoos to big lovable retrievers, I have exceptional pet sitting experience as well as basic walking experience. I am always eager to accompany some furry friends during my free time :) I love exercising and being outdoors, so I would love to run with any dogs that also enjoy an active lifestyle! I have no allergies to any other animals, and I do have a car to get around the city. **For house sitting requests, please reach out at a minimum of 1 week in advance. I am unable to accommodate last minute requests as I always schedule meet-and-greets with you and your pets to ensure I am a good fit for you and their needs.** Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I look forward to learning more about you and your lovely pet(s)! I work from home full time on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays with full availability to accompany your pet(s) all day. I go into the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays, typically from 9am to noon. With that said, if I am house sitting, I can still feed your pet in the mornings and take them outside to relieve themselves. I usually end my work days between 4:00-4:30pm and I am also flexible on the weekends :) For drop-in visits and dog walks: Please be as specific as possible for how you would like me to care for your pet! Include information such as where to find their food, bowls, treats, harness, leash, potty pads, cleaning supplies, etc. Please also be transparent and let me know of any external or in-home cameras. This is for my own safety and privacy.
“Melanie did a wonderful job watching my pup. She gave consistent updates and my pup was relaxed and appeared to be well rested when I picked her up which is the best thing I can ask for … I would definitely rebook Melanie!”

About: I have 2 cats (6 and 4 y/o) and 2 Mini Aussies that I love dearly. I’ve spent the majority of my life around cats and Boxer pups, so I have 10+ years of pet care experience. Previously, I was a middle school teacher—since transitioning to a remote job, I have been actively providing pet sitting and care on Rover for over a year and a half across NYC & San Diego. Being a former educator has inspired my approach that is rooted in the golden rule: I care for your pets the way I want my fur babies to be treated, which is with heartfelt care, one tail at a time. Glimpses of my teacher-side still exist, especially since I have been training our mini aussies since she they both were 9 weeks old. I’m more than happy to informally train/reinforce prior training your pup already has. I am hoping to gain more experience in this realm as I would love to one day become a certified dog trainer 🐾 As an added bonus, I’m also Pet CPR/first-aid certified (both cats and dogs) and pet sitter insured so you can remain at ease knowing your pets are in safe hands. I WFH and my core working hours are 10-3 pm M-F, but my schedule is extremely flexible. I am also typically free on the weekends and holidays as well. I have experience with DIY dog/cat enrichment & playtime indoors, informal training, and crating (as needed or requested). I also have experience administering meds to both stubborn cats and dogs. Practicing safe hygiene with pets is also important, so ensuring your pups paws and fur are clean and their litter boxes scooped is top priority for me. I will treat your pet like I do my own babies, which is with safety, respect, and endless love and enrichment to ensure their well-being at all times!
“Colin was sooo good with my dog, Fluffy- who can be particular with new people. He is patient, detail oriented, thoughtful, and provided great updates throughout the day. His home is clean and safe for dogs. I’ll continue to use him as a sitter for Fluffy for as long as he’ll have him!”

I have taken care of dogs of a lot of sizes and energy levels making me able to handle the whole lot of dogs out there. I am also very comfortable with cats, as I have had them through my whole life along with cats in my neighborhood. I also have a reliable form of transportation so I will be able to make it to everyone’s homes without problem to make sure everyone’s fur baby’s are taken care of. I am currently a senior high school student-athlete, but I am available for evenings, weekends, and random days off throughout the year. I’m hoping to be able to work long weeks when I am on various breaks in the year. I am also hopefully able to save for college though this community! When I am at pet parents houses I make sure that their fur babies are the most comfortable they can be. It is their home so I make sure to do their routine as it normally goes when there is no sitter around.
About: I have over 15 years experience caring for pets of all kinds. I grew up living with large breed dogs in my home and have gained experiencing caring for dogs, cats, and other critters (birds, tortoises, rabbits, ferrets, etc.) all of sizes in my community as a trusted sitter and Humane Society volunteer. I have cared for dogs young and old, puppies who required constant care and seniors with mobility support needs. As no two pets or homes are alike, it’s important to me to understand you and your pets’ unique needs and preferences and adapt my care accordingly. I want to keep your pet healthy, happy, and safe, and your home clean and comfortable. I love snapping photos to keep you updated on how your pet is doing throughout our time :)
“I have a 155lb Great Dane and I am very weary of letting just anyone walk him because of his size and strength. Caity might not be big, but she’s mighty! The first walk I got cute pictures and updates, and when she showed up for the second walk it was like I no longer existed and it was the Oceyn and Caity show! That made me feel good that he has a good time with her. I’m pregnant and on bed rest so I can’t walk him myself… but even when I can walk him again I still plan to keep Caity around 😊”

“Tyler has been a God send! I’ve been working two jobs back to back and husband has been deployed so it’s been very helpful having Tyler help me take care of my pups on my long work days. He goes above and beyond to help me out by feeding them, filling their water bottle and taking out the trash. Will definitely recommend Tyler!”

“I booked Kat to walk my dog for the week while I was out of town. My dog has extremely high energy, and can sometimes too much for some people. Kat was amazing with him though, and I could tell he responded well to her. She knew when he needed to get more energy out and ran with him, handled him when he got too excited, and was patient in his moments of overwhelming excitement. I will 100% book Kat again in the future when I need someone to care for my dog.”

“Hana is amazing! I have been extremely scatterbrained and she’s been very understanding and worked with me when I messed up our walking schedule. She is a true dog whisperer and I trust her with our (sometimes very angry) 13 year old husky. She is very patient with him (and me) and has been a real lifesaver for dog walking on our busy 15 hour days!”

About: House with AC and heat! Blasting it all day long for these fur babies!!! I grew up with dogs! I raised my fur baby since she was 8 weeks old and she almost 6 years old now. I also have watched many of my friends and neighbors dogs while they are gone for a few nights up to a week. I fostered two puppies (separately) last year, and may foster again soon! I work from home and have the flexibility to build my day. I spend a lot of the day on the couch (in the AC or heat) to be near Cocoa. I get an hour for lunch so I tend to take Cocoa out to play if the weather permits. I also have a fenced back yard and spend a lot of time out there with the pups. I do go to the gym almost daily and sometimes go into the office to meet clients for a few hours. It’s best if your dog can be crated or left alone in a seperate room without anxiety or accidents. I have a fenced in yard as well as baby gates in the house to keep the dogs out of areas they shouldn’t including by the front door. I live in a nice community with clean grassy areas for dogs to sniff and potty.

“Benny immediately gravitated towards Nick and we knew it was a good match. Nick expressed his love of dogs and it showed with the care he provided Benny. Nick was very attentive and kept us updated with Benny very frequently, providing pictures and videos of Benny enjoying his time with Nick. We also appreciated the feedback that Nick provided at the end of Benny's stay with Nick. Overall we are extremely happy with Nick and look forward to having Benny under his care in the future.”
