You had me at “woof!”
I have personally owned two dogs, a golden retriever and an Australian shepherd. Though our sweet golden made her way across the rainbow bridge after 15 years together, our Aussie is living in WA with her grandma and grand-paw, where she has a big yard to play in! I have always had no less than three kitties at one time, until moving to San Diego. I now have two Maine coons, Milo and Milly. I like to describe them as a sassy teenager and a toddler going through his terrible two’s, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! Their spunky personalities are what attracted me to Rover. I’m so excited to meet your fur babies!

We used McKenzie a second time to do drop ins on our two cats. She was wonderful yet again. Great communication, with consistent updates and photos. She’s the best!
McKenzie has been wonderful to work with, great communication - she was patient and sweet with my grumpy, senior cat while I was away. I loved getting the updates and pictures!
McKenzie was so helpful, friendly, on time, communicative, and flexible as our dog wasn’t in the ‘mood’ to walk at a certain time of day. Highly recommend, especially if you have a large dog!

McKenzie was fantastic with our pup Charlie. It was a great home away from home.
McKenzie took great care of our cats, Pepper and Oscar, while we were away. She did drop-in visits, made sure they were fed and checked on, and kept us at ease the whole time. We came home to two happy cats and everything in great shape. Would definitely book her again!

Schedule
I recently left my career in finance to focus on raising my son and to spend more time with my family and two kitties. Because of this, I have the freedom and flexibility to make my own schedule and accommodate your pets’ schedules. My two year old and I take 2-3 walks a day and trips to the park throughout the week, but we’d love to be joined by your pup or to make a pit stop to see your kitty!

Safety, trust & environment
Personally, I do not let my cats outside due to how many coyotes are nearby. We do have a fenced yard for doggies to run and play in. Our home is clean, with endless toys for them to play with!
Pets
A typical day
My kitties are big cuddle bugs! We love to snuggle up and watch a movie or play with the thousands of toys they have lying around. Before moving to San Diego, my dogs and I would hike every weekend or go for walks 1-2 miles long. We also had a big backyard so our evenings were filled with fetch and chasing one another.
