Safety, trust & environment
I primarily offer house sitting and dog walking services, and I do not provide pet care in my own home. All care is provided in the client’s home or during scheduled walks. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, routine, and maintaining the pet’s normal environment to help reduce stress while their owner is away. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, medication (if needed), and household rules. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secured before and after walks, and I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior to ensure they are comfortable and safe at all times. I also keep the home clean and respected, leaving everything as I found it. Trust and communication are very important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos so owners always know how their pet is doing.

Desiree was obsessed with our dog and cats in the best way possible. Tons of lovely photos and updates on how they were adjusting to our absence. She even wanted to take our pup to the beach since it was so hot out to give him a break from the weather. We had to leave at a time of crisis for our family and she gave the sweetest leave behind of our puppies paw prints arts and crafted into flowers. 10/10 highly recommend.
We had a wonderful experience with Desiree as our sitter and couldn’t be happier with the care she provided for our six-month-old puppy. She was very attentive to all the details we shared about our puppy’s needs and asked thoughtful questions to ensure we felt heard and completely comfortable leaving our puppy in her care. Desiree proved to be an excellent choice, and we look forward to having her care for our puppy again at our next booking!

Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I balance school and part-time work while maintaining a consistent, organized schedule. I’m reliable and intentional about providing pets with consistent care, attention, walks, and companionship while their owners are away. I’m happy to communicate about specific care needs and make sure each pet’s routine is maintained as closely as possible while you’re away.
