Pet care experience

I believe my enthusiasm, reliability, and willingness to learn make me an excellent candidate for the role. I have plenty of experience caring for animals. I grew up with dogs, cats, and a variety of small pets, and I have always been responsible for their feeding, walking, and general care. Additionally, I have volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I gained experience handling and caring for dogs and cats of all breeds and temperaments. In terms of skills, I am confident in my ability to provide basic pet care, including feeding, walking, and playing with pets. I am also comfortable administering medication to pets as needed. While I do not have formal training in pet training or grooming, I am eager to learn and am confident that I can quickly develop these skills with proper training. Finally, I am committed to providing excellent customer service to both pets and their owners. I understand that pets are a beloved member of the family, and I will treat each animal in my care with the love, attention, and respect they deserve. Additionally, I will communicate clearly and regularly with pet owners, providing updates and addressing any concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Jayla was wonderful! She stayed in our home for two days while caring for our dog, Oliver, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Oliver was so happy and well cared for, and Jayla kept us updated with lots of photos, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. She also left our home spotless. We would absolutely have her stay with Oliver again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter!

Jayla is absolutely godsend! She is the most kind, loving, attentive, sharp, and trustworthy person we’ve ever booked. We last booked with Jayla in 2023 and remembered the impact she left on our the. 3 kiddos. I reached out recently about caring for our now 4 animals (2 pit bulls, 2 busy cats) and Jayla rose to the occasion. I’ve never felt as stress free as I did with Jayla and for her to remember our kiddos was very impressive. Long story short, if you see her, book her immediately! She even administered medication to our senior dog who recently had surgery. 100/10 experience. Thank you for being apart of our family forever.

Jayla was an amazing sitter. She treated my baby so well. I got many daily pictures and updates. She was very communicative. My flight was late and she stayed late at my place which I appreciated so much. I liked that she took my dog for walks in the afternoons. She left my place clean. I would use her again.

Can not recommend Jayla enough! She was perfect with our kitty who is very affectionate and needs some extra attention. Jayla answered every message very quickly and proactively let me know how things were going, she left the house clean and organized, and Minnie was so happy and loved when I came back. Will definitely be using Jayla again (and again and again) Thank you so so much for everything!!!!

Temperament: Understanding the dog's temperament is essential to provide the right kind of care. Some dogs may be shy or nervous around new people, while others may be more outgoing and energetic. Knowing the dog's temperament can help you understand how to approach and interact with them. Medical history: It's important to know if the dog has any medical conditions, allergies, or medications that they need to take. This information can help you provide the necessary care and prevent any potential health problems while you're watching or walking them. Exercise needs: Different dogs have different exercise needs, and it's important to know how much exercise the dog needs and what kind of activities they enjoy. This can help you plan out walks or playtime that will keep the dog healthy and happy. Training: Knowing the dog's training level is important to ensure that you can communicate effectively with them and prevent any unwanted behaviors. This information can also help you provide consistent training while you're watching or walking them. Emergency contact information: It's important to have emergency contact information for the dog's owner, as well as the contact information for the dog's veterinarian, in case of any emergencies.
