“We were visiting San Diego from out of state and needed doggie daycare while we went to a few places where we couldn’t bring our dog. Erion took wonderful care of Beebe. Their home has a backyard with easy access for dogs to run around and go potty, and their beagle was very sweet and gentle with our 11-pound dog. We especially appreciated the care and attention Erion gave Beebe, who has separation anxiety and can be a picky eater. Each day, they communicated with us about how he was doing and sent pictures and updates, which helped us feel very comfortable leaving him there. We also appreciated their kindness and flexibility with our varying drop-off and pick-up times. We had a great experience and would happily book with them again when we have a chance to visit San Diego in the future. We highly recommend Erion and Iris!”

“Yue was a great dog sitter. I’d definitely hire her again. She sent many still photos and videos of our dog throughout the day. It was easy to communicate with her. She answered promptly and was very accommodating to our schedule. She walked our dog before we picked her up, so our dog would be able to sit for the long car ride home and not need to be relieved immediately. Yue was friendly and responsive.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for my entire life! I’ve had 6 dogs of my own. I started watching friends, family, and neighbors' dogs at just 10 years old, and at 16, I started watching cats as well. I’d love to meet your pets and give them a home away from home :) I would love to spend all day with your pets. I work a part-time job where I will occasionally cover 4-hour shifts, but that’s the only time I’m away from the house. I would love to discuss what you love for your pets, whether it is car rides, walks, runs, etc. I have a large fenced backyard with plenty of space. I’m ready for all the energy or no energy at all, and I’ll be sure to follow any specified requests on how I can make your pet's time away from you and/or home the best time!
“Cali has such a great time with Jim. I can tell she really likes hanging out with him and he gives me updates in their outings. She is very happy with your routine visits. Thank you Jim!”

“It was super easy to book with him, he provided images and updates during the time of service. Was very responsive and flexible with our schedule! Would highly recommend him!”

“I wish I could give 6 stars. She was so sweet and accommodating. Took such good care of my doggie and was so nice to me as well. Her home is beautiful and dog friendly. Such an amazing person and dog sitter!”

About: Since I was young I have had my own dogs and cats and watched and walked my neighbors' pets as well. Back in July of 2022 I adopted my Labradoodle, Breck and he is the best boy! I now have the pleasure of basically having full time care of my boyfriend’s adorable Golden, Avery. They get along with all dogs, big and small, so they will make a great playmates for any of your furry friends! I currently work from home M-F. I am free during the day for drop ins and walks! I have pups of my own so I’ll already need to be out and about with them anyways :) I am able to feed and play with pets. Clean litter boxes for cats and walk the pups! And of course give them all lots of love and treats :)
About: I enjoy taking dogs on adventures (owner permitting) to the beach, trails or Fiesta Island while providing them space to run and explore. Having had three children and my own dog, I have learned to treat all dogs in my care as members of my family. Pet care has been a part of my life for the last three years. I have many clients (outside of this site) and lots of references. I care for my dogs like my children. I give them lots of love and attention. I like to have fun and in turn we all have fun.
“Charlie had a great time! He didn't want to leave. Thanks, Jelena! Allowing my family to head to the zoo for the day while Charlie played and had fun. We appreciated it very much!”

“Caterina did an amazing Job. First time Rover user and she went above and beyond to make sure not only I felt comfortable, but also my GS. Lots of walks and activity through out the day. Love that they took my girl to the beach. Would highly recommend Caterina for any and all dog sitting needs. Thank you so much for making this a very special experience. - 3 days Doggy Day Car 9am-5pm”
“Thank you, Diana!! I had an amazing experience with her. Diana is super nice person. She sent me some photos and updates throughout the day. My dog loves her so much. Highly recommend!!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since middle school. Although I have not owned any myself, my roommate has one who I care for frequently. My neighbors and friends have trusted me to pet sit for long weekends/weeks. I love taking dogs on walks, playing with them until they wear out, and spoiling them with all of my attention. My siblings have both gotten cats since moving out. I have fallen in love with their unique personalities and their curiosity of the different cat toys I bring for them to play with. Since moving out myself, I have fostered three dogs. It is only a matter of time before I will have a dog of my own, so in the meantime I can devout my time to taking care of others’ dogs! I work until 2pm on weekdays. I am able to feed/walk pets for up to an hour during my work hours, and anytime after 2pm during the week. I am available full time on weekends. I am attentive to schedules for food and bathroom needs. I enjoy taking dogs on walks so the more the merrier! I also have a lot of energy that makes for a fun competition to see who gets tired first from playing. One foster dog I had was afraid of stairs; we were able to overcome that fear with a lot of patience and praise.
About: What sets me apart as an animal caretaker is how naturally connected I’ve always felt to animals. I’m really intuitive and heart-led with them, and I think growing up around all kinds of animals shaped who I am in a big way. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, hamsters, snakes, praying mantises, and more, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities and needs. I genuinely love building trust with animals and making them feel safe, understood, and cared for. Pet caretaking fits really naturally into my daily routine because I already have a dog and structure a lot of my day around animal care, walks, attention, and consistency. I’m looking to fill my schedule out more, so adding additional caretaking responsibilities would be really easy to weave into my routine. I’m very flexible with hours and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so it feels less like work to me and more like something I naturally love doing. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I adapt my approach depending on the dog’s breed, personality, energy level, and training experience. I use different tools and techniques based on what each animal responds best to and what keeps them safest and most comfortable. The services I currently offer include walks and overnight care, and I always focus on creating a calm, reliable, and positive environment for the pets I’m caring for.
“Bri was awesome with my pup Mav! She is super quick to respond and keeps you updated throughout the day. She hung out with my pup, took him on a walk and send me photos while I was away. I also really appreciate her being so kind and flexible when I was running late for pickup! Would definitely recommend and hope to book again with Bri soon :)”

About: I've taken care of family dogs and I've volunteered at the rescue shelter "A way home for dogs" in San Diego. The volunteering mostly involves watching and restraining dogs as we got them acclimated to crowds of people. Currently free for the summer, so I'll have plenty of time to care for pets. I have no significant other commitments throughout the week. No children or other pets in my apartment. I'll dog walk and play with them. I live in a apartment complex with a friendly pet policy.

Yue, was an excellent day care provider for my Yorkshire Terrier and I’m very thankful for the help she provided for the two days that she provided care. She sent me photos and videos during the stay which let me know my puppy was in good care and was very prompt to reply to any of my messages. Yue, also followed all our needs specific to our puppy’s care which was very helpful. Thanks again Yue for all your help. 😄

Michelle was excellent as a dog sitter. She was so kind to Ellie, responsible, communicative, and thorough with the instructions I left for Ellie. She is incredibly friendly and has a wonderful space to host your furbaby. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!

I just picked up our dog, and I couldn’t be happier with the care he received. He can be nervous in new situations, but Misha was super sweet, she made our dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I appreciated the updates and could tell she genuinely cared about him. Seeing him happy and relaxed when we picked him up meant so much to us. I highly recommend her and would gladly trust her with our dog again!

Octavia took such great care of our puppy, Bleu. This was our first time ever using this app and leaving him with someone else for care. We felt at ease as Octavia was so sweet and professional. She also sent us pictures periodically throughout the day which was perfect. We would definitely book with her again!

Jessica is awesome! She is so sweet and is very responsive. I had an urgent need to find care for my pup Chewie due to work and Jessica was very understanding and accommodating. She made sure my pup had everything he needed to feel comfortable. I would 100% recommend her and reach out to her again when I need someone to look after my boy!
