Though Madeline did not have a ton of reviews, her rate was extremely competitive and the reviews she did have, were very positive. So I jumped into the deep end and am very glad I went with Madeline. She lived fairly close by so it was easy to do a meet/greet and drop off my keys with her. She was very personable and my kitten warmed up to her very quickly at the meet/greet. She followed through on all her commitments, showing up on time and providing exceptional care to my kitten. She provided daily updates along with pictures. When my travel plans changed, Madeline was right there to assist us with Stoner's care. While reptiles and lizards are definitely my specialty (I have a bearded dragon named Beetlejuice), I grew up in a home full of cats and dogs and still help care for my family's pets whenever I can. Over the years, I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities—from Pit Bulls, Labrador and Retriever mixes, Chihuahuas, and Belgian Malinois to scruffy little mixed breeds—and I love getting to know what makes each pet unique. Since I can't have furry pets where I currently live, I truly cherish every opportunity to spend time with cats and dogs. About: I’ve had dogs my whole like. Growing up my mom had a dog rescue so I was constantly caring and loving new fosters! Whether it was playing with the pups or giving medicine to the seniors, I enjoyed every minute of it. I am currently working part time so I am pretty flexible. I work morning shifts and am off before noon. I am able to work around what works best for you! My pets are usually with me 24/7. I have a closed off courtyard that my dogs enjoy wondering around. My pets have portioned meals and are on a feeding schedule. My dogs are walked either in the morning or at night to avoid the hot pavement. My cat is pretty independent but when he chooses to want attention, we play for however much time he thinks is needed. He also has a feeding schedule. I clean his litter box weekly and ensure the litter is scooped out once or twice a day.

About: Growing up on farmland, there were always animals around! Whether we were training our rescues or helping find homes for the strays that showed up at our door, we always had pets to care for. I have gained so much knowledge and experience over the years through helping my parents care for our animals, volunteering at shelters and hosting friends’ pets long-term. I sadly left my pets at the farm when I moved to San Diego, so I am looking for some new furry friends! I have a lot of love to give, and it would be such a pleasure to care for your pet!! <3 I am free on most weekdays in the late afternoon/evening, and I am free for overnights and all day care on weekends. I am currently in school and working another job, but I will do my very best to be accommodating!! I am a very attentive sitter, and the wellbeing of your pet will always be my top priority. I understand every pet parent has their own way of doing things, and I will do whatever I can to make sure you and your pet feel comfortable in my care!
