Pet care experience

Hi there! My name is Gianna and I have nearly 2 decades of pet care experience! I took care of my own personal pet for fourteen years and have taken care of many dogs since, all various in size and breed. I have been on Rover for three years, working with repeat clients off the app, and just moved down to San Diego. I am looking forward to meeting new families and can’t wait to look after your furry loved one! In this new apartment, we have a perfect location for our middle age to senior age doggies. We have plush carpet throughout our apartment, a private fire lane, and a little fenced in patio. I am conveniently right off the 5 freeway and close to the 805 freeway if you’re heading out of town and need an easy drop off/pick up. Please note: if running late past 30 minutes of your pickup window will result in a fee.

Gianna took excellent care of our two older dogs. She asked good questions to make sure that she could respond to all their needs. She responded promptly and sent regular updates with pictures to keep us close with our pets when we were out of town. We will book with Gianna again!
Gianna provided outstanding care for my two senior dogs. She was a great communicator and put me at ease at once. The dogs seemed content and happy when I got home. I trust Gianna 100% and will definitely be using her again
Went above and beyond. Gianna took care of my dogs (and me) during a very difficult time. Gianna was extremely professional and reliable. Despite the fact that unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances that would have made it difficult for anyone to continue happened a few days into her stay, she took her job very seriously and made sure that I didn’t have to worry about my dogs. I can’t thank her enough.
Gianna was great and wonderful to our dogs. They had a great time, thank you so much for everything.
Gianna was great with my dog and cat. My cat doesn't like strangers, but he was on Gianna's lap before the end of the weekend. She sent me pictures and details as to how they were doing. I would highly recommend her.
Gianna was an amazing overnight sitter for Mango. She was highly responsive, transparent, and communicated status updates daily. We really appreciated her attentiveness to him, she was incredibly thoughtful, and made sure that his routines were consistent. We feel so happy to have had Gianna care for Mango!

Schedule
My primary role recently got eliminated, so my schedule has really opened up and allowed me to take on more clients flexibly. I look forward to building more connections & relationships down in my new San Diego community!

Safety, trust & environment
I am a very clear communicator and would be more than happy to send photos throughout my time taking care of your pet to ensure your peace of mind. I look forward to the opportunity to taking care of your pet soon! My apartment is a one story, first floor location - which has been helpful for our senior arthritic dogs. Also my apartment is primarily carpeted flooring. We have a fenced in patio and right outside our front door, a fenced in fire lane for quick potty breaks. We are near UCSD, so there are plenty of safe areas to walk around.
A typical day
I want to ensure that any pet under my care is appropriately exercised and mentally stimulated. I look forward to taking your pet on long, leisurely walks through neighborhoods and with play with toys.
