My dream job after retiring
Pet care experience
My entire life I have ben surrounded by and cared for all types of dogs As a youngster and only daughter among 4 siblings, i always took responsibility for caring for our family pets and treating them as members of my family. As an adult, I always had dogs in my home and often sat for my neighbors' pets when possible. As a teacher, I sought jobs relating to animals when I was on break - I worked at Tufts Small Animal Clinic and Petco Animal Clinic. For over 30 years I took care of my brothers' dogs whenever they went on vacation. Each brother had two dogs while I had two and I would throw "yappy" hours! I loved dog sitting and also babysat my future in-laws dog whenever they went on vacation. The dogs ranged from small to very large - my brother had and has a weimaraner to whom I am very attached. I love dogs, old or young, shy or social, playful or tired and have alway hoped to pursue this passion after I retired from teaching which I did last year. I only work twelve hours a week outside the home and can be flexible. This is the type of job that will give me great pleasure while having fun!

Denise is kind and thoughtful. I knew I was making the right choice for my dogs as soon as I met her. This was the first time I had ever left my dogs in the care of someone other than a family member . I have an older dog who I just wanted to be comfortable in his own home rather than boarding him at a kennel. I am so glad I hired Denise to house sit and care for the dogs . I came home from a weekend away to very relaxed and contented dogs and am very grateful for the love and attention Denise shared with them.
Denise is a very dear, sweet person who has always loved dogs. For all of her adult life she has had either a one or two dogs and cherishes them and treats them like family.She has also watched our two dogs many times and it is clear that they love her and enjoyed being with her. Denise has watched my family's dog, a plump Havanese named Snoopy, multiple times over the years. Not only is she reliable, but more importantly, she is a true lover of dogs. She's patient, kind and loves to keep dogs active. She is a great dog-sitter, but also a dog owner. Her own dogs Lula and Frankie are two of the luckiest pups I know. In between treats and lots of love, Lula and Frankie are well taken care of. She has also professional experience having worked at the clinic in our local PetCo and a small animal clinic run out of Tufts University. I highly recommend Denise to anyone looking for added care for their dog.

I live in a lovely neighborhood I also have access to many paths that are safe and peaceful f for dog walkers. I love to play with dogs if they are playful, cuddle with dogs who need cuddling, and learning to adapt to their different personalities. I have a great sense of humor and am very patient.
