*I do not leave to go to another job, your pets have my full time attention* Every animal is unique, and has its own special personality. I enjoy getting to know ALL of them. *Rescue pets have been through trauma, and just like humans those traumas can affect their emotional reactions. I understand that and have years of experience with 'rescue dogs'. I'm not intimidated by large and protective breeds and or multiple pets. I also have experience with a variety of animals and would happily care for your fish, lizards and frogs as well as outdoor animals like goats or a horse or two

I am meticulous and extremely respectful of space and energy while taking care of your home. I will treat your animals as if they are my own because while in my care, they are. They will be loved and guarded. As for specific care, each client is very different and has individual needs. How I care for your animal is up to you and your animal.
Ratings and reviews
Josette did a great job with our 2 dogs who are stranger adverse. She was patient and meet them where they were at. She also watched are cats during the same stay. Josette sent detailed messages on how all of them were doing. Excited to have a pet sitter I can book when future travel comes up. Strongly recommend.
Josette is the absolute best! She’s taken care of Buster a few times now and I feel so fortunate that we found her. This neurotic dog mom no longer has to worry when she’s away. Buster’s an anxious senior with some aches and pains and because Josette’s so empathic she’s naturally in tune with what he needs. We just adore her and can’t thank her enough for taking such excellent care of our baby!

Josette was amazing with our sweet, anxious and at times stubborn boy. It was our first time using a professional sitter and we’re so glad we did! It was clear when we got home that she and Buster had bonded. Josette was conscious about adhering to his daily routine and sent pictures of our happy boy to give us peace of mind. We look forward to using her again in the near future!

Josette has house/dog sat for me a couple of times. My dog lovers her and I know she is well taken care of while Josette is with her. I highly recommend Josette to care for your pets.

Schedule
When I am pet sitting, I am not working another job. Your pets have my "full-time" attention and my consistent care. I am willing to travel about an hour from La Jolla for in your home care lasting a few days or more. I will provide in your home care for up to 120 days at a time.
