About: What sets me apart is how much care and attention I give to each pet as an individual. I take the time to learn their age, personality, and daily routine so they feel comfortable and at ease. I have experience with puppies and enjoy helping reinforce basic training like house routines, leash manners, and positive reinforcement. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and truly love making sure pets feel safe, happy, and cared for. I also make it a priority to keep owners updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. 🐾 I usually wake up around 5am to take the dogs out for their morning walks and that lasts about 30-60 minutes. Since I work from home most days, I sometimes take them for an afternoon walk if they are feeling very energetic. We have a little play ground we let them go to bring out their zoomies before coming back in. Around 4-5pm, we always go to the park close to our neighborhood to let our furry friends play with each other and socialize! In the days it rainy, we usually take a longer walk around the neighborhood. I care for pets by prioritizing their safety, routine, and overall well-being, whether they are in my home or a client’s home. I follow all owner instructions closely, including feeding schedules, portion sizes, medication administration, exercise needs, and any behavioral or medical considerations. I ensure pets have a clean, comfortable environment, fresh water at all times, and appropriate physical and mental stimulation.

“We last minute needed a pet sitter as we were going out of town for the weekend, and Michelle picked our request up immediately. She exceeded our expectations, was punctual, and took great care of our kitty Demetrios. She left detailed notes for us and cutest photos from her visit. We will continue booking with Michelle and we recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter. Thanks so much Michelle!!”

“Jenny was very quick to respond and very communicative. I had to make a booking very last minute and she was super flexible and willing to squeeze in time for a meet and greet. Very nice and sweet and patient with my cat Venus. Overall wonderful, would highly recommend and would book again.”

“Julie was great! She came for a one-hour visit with Rex and was right on time. She left really thorough updates and sent lots of pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear Rex was well cared for and had a great time with her. We would absolutely book Julie again and highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have always been a huge animal lover. I rescued both of my dogs while I was in college about 12 years ago. I have a 13-year-old German Shepherd mix, Shepp, who now has a variety of skin and mobility issues, so I’m very comfortable with senior dogs, giving medications, and providing a little extra patience and care when needed. I also have Luna, my 9-year-old mixed breed, who is still crazy, energetic, and keeps me on my toes! I’m very comfortable caring for and walking multiple dogs at once, so multi-pet households are no problem at all. Over the years I’ve learned plenty of tricks for giving medications, handling different personalities, and making dogs feel comfortable and safe. I’ve always loved all kinds of animals. I even had a bearded dragon, and growing up I wanted to be a zoologist. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ll treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own. I’m returning to school at San Diego Mesa College and have classes Monday through Thursday, with classes starting as early as 8 AM and ending as late as 3 PM. My schedule still gives me plenty of flexibility for dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week, especially in the early morning, afternoon, and evening, and on Fridays and weekends. I’m happy to work with you to find times that fit your pet’s normal routine. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets and your home. I always treat every pet like I would my own and take the time to learn their routine, personality, and any special instructions you have. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels, including senior dogs who may need a little extra patience or assistance. I also live in a very dog-friendly community on the ground level with an enclosed patio, which gives dogs a safe and convenient outdoor space. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and get plenty of attention.
“Sara was wonderful with our 3 cats! She communicated everyday with photos and updates and we came home to both happy cats and full water bowls. She is professional in every way and you can tell she truly loves animals. We would highly recommend her and hope to book with her in the future.”

“Celine was so great with our dog Charlie! She was very communicative and friendly! Our dog loved her. We felt comfortable leaving Charlie at home knowing Celine would be checking on him for a drop in visit. We would love to use her services again!”

“Luciana always goes above and beyond we are so grateful for her. Today she stayed with our girls for several hours so that we could attend a family bar mitzvah, worry free knowing our girls are in the wonderful care of Luciana.”

About: Friends and family have entrusted me to help take care of their pets when going on long trips knowing I’ll treat them with love and care. I’m working remotely 80% so I’m always at home. I have a nice office corner in the living room so I can monitor the pet while still giving enough space to move and play. I tend to take breaks every couple hours to walk the our home’s dog or teach it new tricks. I have a fenced yard at the back so they can have fun outside and there’s crates and fences available if needed to ensure they stay near me.
“Danielle has been great with my pups! I could tell from the pics and video that they were comfortable around her and having fun on the drop in visit. I would for sure use Danielle again to come take care of them during the day!”

“Crystal was punctual, warm, and provided great communication and care for our two cat children. She is also apparently magical, as she was able to give some love to our resident shy guy who hides from everyone. Will call on her again soon!”

About: Hi! I'm Vivian, a UCSD medical student and lifelong animal lover. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from 9-week-old puppies to 12-year-old senior dogs. In the past, I've provided dog walking, feeding, and overnight house sitting, and I'm comfortable following specific routines, administering basic care, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I'm also a cat owner myself, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their usual routine, I'll make sure they receive attentive, reliable care and plenty of affection. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I’m currently a medical student on summer break so I will have plenty of time to dedicate to your furry friends! Throughout the rest of summer, my schedule is very flexible to cater to whatever your pet needs :) I live at graduate housing which has plenty of green space for your pets to roam around and explore! I am able to crate your pets if necessary. I have a senior cat at home that has lived with other cats before and has also been friendly with all dogs that have come to visit my home.

About: I have always had a dog in my life! I grew up with a chihuahua mix and now have two dogs (1 year old chiweenie and 5 year old staffy mix) at home. They are my world!! I will give your love as much as I give my babies! Thanks for trusting me with your pets! I am currently not working and taking care of a family member, my schedule is flexible! I am able to help last minute or with extended notice. I do not care for pets in my home as I have two fur babies that love their space but I will treat your pets like I do mine! With all the love in the world.

About: I have been a pet sitter for almost 15 years now. I initially relocated to California from Virginia to begin my travel nursing career back in 2019. I sadly had to leave many of my established clients back in Virginia that I loved and cared for for many years. While it was sad to part with them, I'm always looking forward to meeting and establishing new wonderful clients. Travel nursing has taken me all up and down the west coast, which has now become my permanent home. I love living in San Diego full time and the endless opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Taking your furry friends on walks is one of my favorite activities. I also volunteer for The Animal Pad and get to spend time caring for the amazing rescue animals that come through their doors. I’m excited to meet you and your four legged children. I work 4 days a week as a recovery room RN and my hours range from 8-10hrs. I am flexible with timing requests for most walks and am happy to provide walks before or after my shifts and, of course, on my days off. Clear communication for what your pet needs is always my best practice when it comes to caring for your animals. Whatever you need be sure to let me know and we can discuss options!

“Bailey checked in on my two girls while I was in SF for the weekend. She feed them, let them out to go potty, and sent cute photos while they soaked up the sun. I felt completely at ease while they were in Bailey’s care. I definitely plan to reach out to her again, if I’m in need of a sitter in the future.”

About: I’ve had 3 dogs and 4 cats. I’ve been around pets whole my life and very love them a lot, their funny, cute and sometimes silly behaviour. I’m available almost every day throughout the week in the mornings and the the whole weekends. Ready to provide help with the pet and take care of it. My pets weren’t pets, they were my family, and I love to take care of pets, taking them for a walk 3 times a day, and always clean up after them. Have some running playing time to make the pet happy.
About: I’ve taken care of loving pet animals my whole life. I’m also a pet parent myself, so I know what it takes to leave your loved one with a new sitter. I’ll make sure you have the best experience possible. I’m a hybrid-worker in San Diego, spending Friday-Monday at home. Taking care of a pet will be my main focus while on a sit-job, ensuring their needs are met from top to bottom, through play, exercise, cuddles, and more. You say jump, I ask ‘How high?’ In your home and with your pets, you are the boss. Love photos? Perfect. You’ll never wonder how your loved pet is doing. I’m also very low maintenance, so if I happen to be doing a house/pet sit, you can trust that your home will be well looked after.
About: Hi there! My name is Gianna and I am a lover of all dogs and cats! I took care of my own personal pet for fourteen years and have taken care of many dogs, all various in size and breed. Through Rover, I’ve also gotten the opportunity to care for some really cute cats too! I have been on Rover for three years, working with repeat clients off the app, and just moved down to San Diego. I am looking forward to meeting new families and can’t wait to look after your furry loved one! My primary role recently got eliminated, so my schedule has really opened up and allowed me to take on more clients flexibly. We are always looking forward to Mari visiting, especially Oli! I love that we never have to worry about how he's going to be, Mari gives the attention and affection that he so craves when we're gone. Love to see the photos and notes to hear he's doing well, and it's obvious that he's very comfortable and feeling like himself around Mari. Also appreciated very much that she handled the ant issue that we're worried about this time of the year. Thanks again Mari!!

Hannah did a great job taking care of my dog! She was very communicative, sent regular updates and photos, and kept me reassured while I was away. I really appreciated how attentive and responsive she was. I would definitely recommend Hannah and would happily have her watch my dog again!
Aleksandra did an amazing job checking in on our cat. She accepted a last minute booking request, came over for a meet and greet, and took great care of our cat every time she came to check on her. She was very professional and we could tell she genuinely cared about our cat’s wellbeing. She really helped put our minds at ease about being away and we felt our cat was in safe hands. Thank you Aleksandra!

Laila again did a fantastic job taking care of my cat, Cali, while I was away for the week. Cali was welcoming and content when I returned and looking forward to seeing Laila again soon. I received updates and pictures regularly and promptly. Laila is always pleasant and accommodating and I highly recommend her for pet-sitting.

We are SO thankful we found Valerie! 🥹 We reached out to her super last minute and she was kind enough to accommodate us the very next day. She even came over the night before around 7pm just to meet us and Prince and make sure everyone felt comfortable before his first visit. During her visit, she went above and beyond. She fed Prince by hand (cause our little guy is so extra sometimes), cleaned up his potty pads (and always wiped his little bum), and even stayed and played with him for two whole hours! 🥹🐶 It gave us so much peace of mind knowing that he wasn’t just being checked on, but was actually getting the same attention, playtime, and love while we were away. We’re incredibly grateful for how caring, accommodating, flexible, and attentive Valerie has been, especially on such short notice. As fellow nurses, we also really appreciate how dependable and caring she is. We already feel so comfortable having her care for our little guy and would absolutely recommend her! 🤍
